Monthly Rentals in Lago di Cama

We stayed here for a night and it was a nice little spot to rest for the night. One thing to note is that there’s a staircase immediately upon entering the building. There is basically no space for luggage downstairs so you must carry it up which can be a bit difficult given the dimensions of the staircase and depending on the size of your suitcase. There was also a balcony that was not visible in the listing but it was a nice little spot to view the Swiss scenery.

Incredible! We cannot say enough good things about the place and the hosts. The space is luxurious with a stunning view of the lake, we spent many hours on the terrace in the sun enjoying the view. The private parking space was immensely valuable in such a busy area. Several cafes and restaurants are within walking distance, and the town is centrally located to explore nearby spots along the lake. Not as crowded as Como or Bellagio which we appreciated. We had plenty of space for our family of four and the host family was so sweet and generous, recommending nearby restaurants and attractions, and providing a pack-n-play (travel cot), high chair, and stroller for our youngest. The home is furnished and outfitted with everything you could possibly need, and it is decorated in a way that makes you feel truly at home.

We were completely satisfied. Communication with Lory was very pleasant and friendly. In the apartment we particularly liked the beautiful bedroom and the very well equipped kitchen. Parking directly at the house, in a few minutes walk on a beautiful path on the Mera to the nearby old town of Chiavenna , in appropriate weather views of the mountains....fantastic.

Chiara and her family were very warm and accommodating hosts. We were welcomed with open arms, everything was shown and explained to us. The mountain hut is located high up on a mountain on a private road, but was easy to find thanks to a short video from Chiara. If we had any questions, we could always write and get a quick and helpful answer. The pool was even preheated every day, so we almost never had to take care of it ourselves. All in all, we would definitely recommend the place if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place in the mountains. Thanks so much for the nice days!
