Enjoy the dvd/satellite on the livingroom big screen tv, or in the master bedroom. Bedding and towels, propane for the bbq and firewood are included.

Forest Loft - Forest, Sauna, Ponds & Stargazing

The “Forest Loft” is a one-of-a-kind space surrounded by the old-growth trees of Kinghurst Forest. The 1,600-square-foot space sleeps up to four and features two Queen-size beds and linens, huge harvest table, indoor kitchenette with a stovetop and fridge, filtered water, shower, propane and wood stove heating, in-door basketball hoop, hammock, picnic table, a commercial grade BBQ, fire ring and access to two beautiful spring-fed ponds. Access to Finnish sauna for four is available on request.

The Royal Stag Lodge - Riverfront on the Au Sable

Down the gated driveway, surrounded by old-growth forest and overlooking the Au Sable River, rests The Royal Stag Lodge. It is a late 1940s, wide-planked, knotty pine, tongue and groove Lodge built on a massive, exposed beam construction frame. The mix of wood, custom metal railings, big game mounts, and pelts lets you know you will stay in a recreational masterpiece. The 35-acre peaceful grounds are manicured by our professional team, who set the standard for up-north vacation rentals.

We are one block from Sheplers Ferry Line to Mackinac Island. We do sit on the main street, so you will get some noise. There is a view of the bay and it’s a great spot to watch summer fireworks. We are within walking distance of our downtown stores, Restaurants, and Ice Cream. We share a parking lot, so we are close by if needed. This is the first floor of a two story building with renters in the upstairs. There is a dog on Property. The washer and dryer are located in the basement.
