Beachfront holiday rental in Lake Maggiore

It was a really beautiful place right next to the Lake. Giulia have us great recommendations and Always answered really quickly. There ia a Restaurant right under it, but it was Always pretty quiet anyway.

We had a great family stay at Anna and Marco's. The apartment is ideally located close to the lake and entertainment, very welcoming and well-equipped. We were able to take beautiful walks using only public transport. We particularly appreciated Marco's personalized advice and availability during the stay. The contact by interposed messages was very friendly. We'll be happy to go back!

Costa was the best AirBnb host we have ever had. Very responsive and Costa even helped jump start our car when the battery died, what a legend. Thank you Costa. The property is brilliant, unbelievable view. Nice local restaurants and the bus stop is right outside. Would 100% recommend.

The apartment was absolutely perfect! Incredible views, easy to find, clean, and there are several businesses within walking distance. Moreno is the best!! He was extremely friendly, helpful, and beyond accommodating. He really goes above and beyond for his guests. Absolutely loved our stay here!

We had a wonderful stay – the property is lovely with an absolutely stunning view. The garden was a great spot to relax, and the whole place had a really peaceful feel to it. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming – they greeted us personally and had clearly put a lot of thought into making us feel at home, even leaving a cuddly toy for our daughter and a bottle of Prosecco for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. A couple of things to be aware of: the driveway and parking area are quite steep. It’s no problem if you're in a regular car, but it was a bit of a challenge with our campervan. Also, the local town is walkable – about 25 minutes mostly on quiet roads – which was a lovely way to explore the area. All in all, we’d absolutely recommend this place for a relaxing stay in a beautiful setting.

We had great days in the accommodation, it was very tidy and the kitchen was very well equipped. We were not very lucky with the weather, but we were able to use the "TV room" extensively. They always responded very quickly to our questions and we felt we were in good hands. The small bathing section is a highlight and I could still use the SUP boards, it was a lot of fun.

Luisella and Fermo were PERFECT hosts! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Guilia House. The house is so charming - it felt like such a privilege to stay there and experience the history and beauty of the home and village of Fiumelatte. We especially loved the garden area that Luisella is cultivating - the views in the evening are spectacular! The walk to Varenna is an easy one with amazing views of the lake, mountains, and villages along the shore. This rental is not for everyone, however. Folks with mobility issues or toddlers should be aware that the rooms are all on different floors and connected by a cement staircase in the center of the home. If this is not a concern, then you will be treated to an authentic 'old world' Italian experience. We adored Luisella and Fermo - what a kind and generous couple! We are SO grateful for their hospitality. They welcomed us as if we were family and we will cherish them as if they are ours.

Lovely apartment with spectacular view. Friendly and responsive host. Especially liked the extra little things, like additional towels for swimming, and extra adapters for charging devices. Would be happy to come back.

Our stay at Manuele and Giorgia's apartment near Lake Como was absolutely wonderful! While there isn't a lake view directly from the apartment, its location more than makes up for it. We loved being able to walk to the lakefront within minutes, and there are so many fantastic restaurants just a stone's throw away. Bellagio was also a super short and easy drive, making day trips incredibly convenient. What truly set this place apart was the incredible thought Manuele and Giorgia have put into every detail. From extra towels to a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable furnishings, they've genuinely anticipated all the little things that make a stay comfortable and stress-free. It truly felt like a home away from home. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend their apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and truly welcoming base for exploring Lake Como!

Alessandra was absolutely amazing, not only while we were there, but leading up to our stay. It felt like we made a friend in Italy. She was friendly, communicative, and helpful! The airline lost our bags and she kept checking in to see if we had an update. She truly went above and beyond! The Airbnb was so clean and welcoming! Right across the street from Lake Como! Beautiful area! Would recommend to anyone!

Andrea was very responsive all the time. Andrea’s place is beautiful. Very modern and clean and had everything my wife and I needed including an iron, washing machine, and a cool sound system. The kitchen was fully functional as well. The views from the balcony and bedroom are amazing. Just as shown in the pictures. Andrea had many suggestions of things to do and places where to eat that were quite helpful. Our stay was very enjoyable. This place is truly a gem in Lago di Como.

The greeting upon arrival was excellent, we were offered an upgrade as some guests had cancelled due to weather, a nice gesture! The appartment was well furnished, clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent. Far enough from the busy touristic Bellagio but close enough to walk. The ferry pick up is just steps away. The grounds are immaculate and large enough to get a good run in every morning (5km) track style staying on the stone path that twirls the 42 hectar property. The grounds allow you great views of Tremezzo and Villa Carlotta accross the Lake and you can swim if the tempersture permits on the stairs that access the Lake. This is really a great place to stay! Really nice apartment with a great view and a shared swimming pool. Miki is a great host whom we coordinated check-in & -out accordingly. As she lives in the apartment complex, too, she's easy to reach.

A big and heartfelt thank you to Emilio for the wonderful week we spent in his apartment and at the campsite! Sometimes chance finds are the best finds :-) We could now repeat the same things from the previous positive reviews, but we will keep it short and confirm everything that has been written so far! But nevertheless, we would like to highlight again, in addition to the impeccable apartment, the exceptionally clean and very beautiful surroundings, more precisely the campsite including the super (large) pool and everything else the campsite has to offer and to which the apartment is attached. We hope that in the near future we will have the opportunity to spend our Pentecost holiday there again!

5 stars – Wonderful stay! Alessandra was an amazing host responsive, kind, and made everything easy. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described. The location is perfect, right in front of the lake with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommended, I would definitely stay again!

The place is just great. Amazing location and view. The flat itself is very spacious and the interiors are very well looked after.

Sandra's small accommodation was very clean and beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with the weather, but Sandra can't help it. Still, we felt comfortable. The beach "on the doorstep" is a pebble beach, so you should wear bathing shoes, otherwise it is a bit uncomfortable. From the B&B you can take beautiful hiking tours. We will be happy to come back :)

A very beautiful location at the Lago Maggiore. Ruth was very welcoming with great suggestions for restaurants. I would always come back to that place.

We had a wonderful week of vacation. The very lovingly renovated and very well-equipped 3-storey former fisherman's cottage is located in a small side street to the waterfront. All rooms have air conditioning, the rooms are spacious and both have a small balcony. The small kitchen is very well equipped. Contact during booking and support on site were great. Easy check-in and check-out. Nadja greeted and said goodbye to us personally, provided us with various tips and was always available. The eastern side of the lake is a little less touristy. In Angera, there are several beautiful bars and cafes, a small, very well-stocked supermarket, and very good restaurants. Everything is easily accessible on foot, so you can get by very well without a car. Ferry pier 2 minutes from the house, Arona with train station (Domodossola-Milan route) and ferries up the lake, so easily accessible. Free public parking on the street. We'd love to come back!

A great base for exploring Lake Maggiore. Really good sized house with two bathrooms at a very reasonable price. The house was very close to either a public or private beach. Five minute walk to the Baveno town – and with easy access to the wider Maggiore area via the train station/ferry. Carlo was a perfect host – with friendly, clear communication as well as recommendations for the local area. Grazie Carlo!

We had a very nice stay in Cerro in Andrea's apartment, from there we enjoyed a lot and were looking forward to the evening view of the lake every time. The apartment is located on the second floor within walking distance of Cerre, was sparkling clean and tastefully decorated. Our recommendation would be to provide a pan and a smaller cooking pot more as well as egg cups. The garbage separation or storage system did not open up to us immediately. Overall a great stay, thank you so much.

The property is very centrally located. The lake, great restaurants and cafés are just a few minutes' walk away. You can explore the surroundings on foot or drive to neighboring towns in a few minutes. We were there with a baby, and that also worked wonderfully in the accommodation. There is an elevator, but it is very small. Therefore, you can either leave the stroller folded in the hallway (or carry it up the few steps and place it in the apartment). Top: modern equipment, air conditioning, washing machine for emergencies, many and large closets, in which you can store everything super and so can fully use the small size of the apartment. The location is really great! If you have difficulties with the garage like we did (Mercedes B Class in relation to the narrow garage was problematic), there are some free parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. Alessandro and his wife were very nice hosts.
