Great location, very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The accommodation was separate from the main house but very private. Easy parking on site. Lovely homemade breakfast brought to us every morning. It's a 15 min walk down to the lake but can be a steep walk back up.

We had a wonderful holiday at Orta Lake, an ideal place to unwind and enjoy in great surroundings. The welcome from the owner Signore Tarsis was very warm and friendly. We really enjoyed his prudent care and our conversations. The house fully corresponded to the listing and was a perfect hostel. We sat in the evening overlooking the impressive palazzo and the lake. We will be happy to come back ! Thank you

Very, very good stay experience.The bed is very comfortable and the yard is beautiful!

We spent 4 nights at Nina‘s and Richsrd’s place (more wasn‘t free :( It was authentic, with old floor tiles, a style mix of tradtional and modern, it was clean, spacious, charming, not cluttered, secluded, bright and definitely off the beaten track! The kitchen was very well equipped. Basic groceries are avalable at “Bottega di Gandria”, for anyting else we took the bus (10‘) to the supermarket & back. We arrived by train in lugano & went on trips e.g. by bus and back by boat, no car needed! Close by restaurants rounded off the day:) A wonderful time!

Our expectations were exceeded in all dimensions! We can highly recommend it.

It was a very nice place to stay. Right on the lake, even overlooking the lake. Even though the room was not super modern, it was totally well maintained and clean. The pipes of the house don't seem to be so well insulated, you can hear every flush or shower, but that didn't bother us. The nearest town is a 15-20 min walk, which was fine. We were very pleased.

Great location on the slope, wonderful view, quiet, sauna is a big plus! From Roveredo you can quickly get to the mountains or on hikes (Calancatal, Misox). Great homemade breakfast, very friendly hosts, cozy. The bed is a bit hard and the bedroom very small (is also described in the listing as "tiny"). All in all, great.

The place and communication were great. We also met the hosts briefly, which confirmed the first impression of the accommodation and of them. We can only recommend the place and would also book it again immediately. The kitchen is very well equipped and the living room and bedrooms are very spacious. There are also several seating and lingering options outdoors. The location and views are perfect

Very beautiful guest house tucked in the hills. The private patio is serene. luscious greenery everywhere. Super quiet at night. The casa has everything you need. Sabine is very nice and provided some great restaurant recommendations. absolutely would stay again!

Viktoria has furnished the apartment very lovingly and tastefully. Everything was very tidy and clean. There was everything you need. The small terrace in front of the apartment is also great. The location in particular is something extraordinary. We felt right at home!☀️

Cute, small but nice studio on a hillside. My dog and I felt very comfortable. In the village, there is a mini grocery store and a good pizzeria (also take away) For two people rather scarce. But as a solotraveler, really cozy and sweet:-)

Very good value for money. Easy connection to Milan ( cheap tickets ). Walking distance from the station . Giovanni wrote very clear instructions. Would recommend anytime

Everything was great, the only thing is that it is a bit far from the train station then you have to walk about 20 or 30 minutes
