Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Montezuma

Carolyn’s Desert Dream accommodations were perfect for our mother daughter get away. It was a very private location directly across from Cathedral Rock, consequently the views were magnificent while soaking in the hot tub. It was very clean, with extremely comfortable bed and pillows, and ample room. The bathroom was nice and large with a roomy walk in shower. The patio area was a pleasant addition for sitting outside and enjoying the views. Carolyn and I communicated about our arrival time as we were unsure of the exact time. She wanted to meet us when we arrived and was very flexible to our sightseeing time on our way from Phoenix. Carolyn was an excellent host! She shared ideas for restaurants, shopping, beside the downtown area and beautiful scenic rides we could take. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful authentically decorated Airbnb for 2 this should be your first choice! I will definitely be returning. Thank you Carolyn!

The serenity casita was beautiful! The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, it was far enough from town that we didn’t hear much traffic but close enough that it didn’t take long to get to stores or restaurants. The yard was great, the hot tub was nice, and Linda left a ton of recommendations from hikes to wineries to restaurants. I recommend staying here if you want to recharge in nature. It was such a great stay!

We had a wonderful weekend here. Tim was a phenomenal host. The views are beautiful and we had a lovely time sitting on the deck and taking in the views. We would love to come again!

Wonderful place to stay! Bridget was a kind and welcoming host! Quiet and off busy roads of Sedona. Short drive to town and beautiful scenic views! I wish it wasn’t so hot so I could have used the hot tub more! But everything was as described!! I would definitely come back!!!

We had a great stay, the grandkids loved the hot tub! Our only wish was that the water was a little more accessible, it was a bit overgrown with nature, although still beautiful! We do recommend bringing plenty of drinking water (if you don’t like faucet water), there’s no bottled or filtered water. We stayed 4 nights and we were able to do all our hikes and outings.

Very lovely home with a beautiful backyard. The location was perfect. Close to town but very private and quiet setting. The host was great and responded in a timely fashion. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely LOVED Tiffany’s place! This adorable cottage was perfectly located in Old Cottonwood, walkable to restaurants and trails. You can tell Tiffany truly cares about her guests with small personally touches throughout the cottage, and she was extremely helpful when we needed to check in early. I cannot wait to comeback and enjoy this treasure!

The location was great! It was very close to Crescent Moon Trail, which we really enjoyed. Plus, the neighborhood was quiet and perfect for a relaxing stay. Feel free to modify it to fit your style and experience!

5 of us including 3 dogs came to visit Jerome and Cottonwood for a weekend and we all absolutely loved the place. It had everything we needed for a pleasant stay and the garden was great. Excellent location as well. Highly recommended.

We loved staying at Lars's place! Beautiful location, stunning hikes nearby. We enjoyed sitting at the fire pit and going out to dinner in the village. Would love to come back!

This was paradise in the pines. There was everything that was promised and more. We were so comfortable and at ease. There are great indoor and outdoor living spaces, with thoughtful additions for adults and children.

We really enjoyed Jarod's house and the quiet neighborhood in The Village of Oak Creek - close enough to Sedona and all the things without all the touristy traffic, noise, and crowds. The house was comfortable for our family of six - cozy beds and sofas for movie watching, the kitchen was stocked pretty well, my family enjoyed the pool table, and we ate most of our meals on the back porch. We also thought it was pretty cool the house had a butte basically in its backyard!! The house is also in a great location to get to most of the trailheads and local attractions - 10 to 30 minute drives.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house had everything we needed, was well-stocked with kitchen tools & other household items. The rooms were all spacious with lots of storage. Beds were comfortable! Pool area was great. The view of the red rocks from the living room & patio was fantastic! The location was great too- quiet but just a short drive to uptown (traffic but we were there during spring break so it was expected!) & close to several trailheads. We'd definitely consider staying again if we visit Sedona!

Loved this place, will be back!!! From star gazing in the hot tub at night to lounging by the pool during the day while staring at a picture perfect view of the red rock mountains , it was well worth the price , also super private. Perfect location, close to all the trails we hiked, close to the art village, close to the best restaurants in town. Brenda was a super friendly and accommodating host, gave us recs for the best trails and answered our questions very promptly.

Loved this place! My family of 5 (3 kids, all 20+) came to Sedona as we love to hike. While it was about a 20-25 min drive to get where we wanted to go, we enjoyed the quiet location this home had to offer. The outdoor area was amazing. We found ourselves sitting around the fire pit watching the sunrise, the pool and hot tub after our hikes, and the large outdoor table for eating and games. Inside was just as nice with plenty of space. The kitchen had everything we needed for the meals we prepared. I also appreciated the mount of starter supplies (toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, etc) that were left for us to use. We didn’t need to purchase anything for our 5 night stay. There were also plenty of bath and pool towels. If we are ever in the Sedona area again, we would definitely choose this home again.

We loved our stay at the casita! It was clean, neat and very cute. We felt right at home. The location was also central to so many hiking trails, shopping and restaurants. We even drove to the Grand Canyon for a day. We also did Devils Bridge, Soldiers Pass, Boynton Canyon and Slide Rock. We enjoyed every trail, every restaurant, all of the scenery and wonderful amenities. We also liked having a pool available for our use. We highly recommend staying here. The owners and host were very accessible and responded quickly to all of my questions. Thanks again!

Brandon's place was exactly what my family and I needed for a long weekend in Sedona. The location was amazing and near so many walkable places. The views were incredible and the community pool was perfect for my kids during the hot afternoons. You will not be disappointed.
