Holiday rentals with a patio in Lake Norman

Wow, what a location right by the lake! We absolutely loved this accommodation. its tastefully decorated, calm, peaceful and private. the living space is sociable and the front porch allows you to enjoy the view of the lake, the birds and just the wonderful peaceful atmosphere. there are kyaks and paddle boards and a beautiful dining area on the jetty. Comfortable beds, pretty linen, great bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen make it feel top end. Clearly this place is loved by the owner and we recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil stay. we came to Charlotte for the Speedway but we're so happy we got out of town to explore the countryside and enjoy Lake Norman. Downtown Moorseville is about 20 mins away and was a lovely place for a bit if shopping and some nice coffee ☕️ Thank you Patricia. we highly recommend your beautiful place at Tranquility Cove x

We loved our stay in Cornelius! The condo was perfect for our trip-restaurants and shops within walking distance. Loved the grocery store right next door. The host was very responsive with communication. Would give 10 stars if I could!!

Me and my older kids came to stay for a wedding. Our stay was amazing! Everything looked great and we were able to take in the peaceful views from the balcony and sample some of the local restaurants. I would definitely stay again and hopefully for longer next time.

Great apartment! We came for the Lovin' Life Music Fest; it was about a 20 minute, easy walk. Plenty of space in the apartment, beds were comfortable, couch was slightly on the small side, but there were only 2 of us, so it was fine. The key fob wasn't left in the lock box upon our arrival, but I reached out and was responded to in about 10 minutes and he was able to let us in. Definitely would recommend this place and if we come back to the festival, I would stay here again!

Fantastic BnB! Perfect location, very clean, and super accessible. I felt completely safe, and the place had everything I needed and more. Communication with the host was smooth and barely necessary because they had everything covered. Will definitely stay again soon!

Highly recommend! Quinsia was a great host, communicated check in details, checked in the next day to make sure we were doing well, very attentive! Everything was very clean and comfortable. Perfect location to walk to events in uptown! Would return if we are in Charlotte in the future.

Great location on a quiet street very close to downtown area,. Long public walk/bike/run space right across the street….id come back just for that…

Lorillee was a wonderful host! They were great at communicating from right after the booking was made to the day we checked out. Lorillee provided very clear instructions on how to access the unit, and they even provided a list of things to do and restaurants in the area. The unit was very comfortable and clean, and there are lots of restaurants, coffee shops, etc. within walking distance (a few minutes). I will definitely look for this listing when I travel to Davidson, NC again!

Dear Robert and Charleen, Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. The Bird House is truly a gem, and you are blessed to own it. The pictures on Airbnb do not do the house justice. As I entered on Wednesday, my breath was taken away; the views of the lake and natural light filled every room. The beauty of the natural surroundings, together with the well-thought-out interior design and appointments, made our experience one to remember. My mother and I truly had a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving. You had very clear notes regarding how to work everything (the blinds). Clearly, a lot of thought was put into what would make guests comfortable (lap blankets and a variety of lighting with dimmers), and all of the items one would use at home were in the kitchen, enabling us not to have one worry during our stay. We hope to return during warmer weather to enjoy the outdoors.

We had a great stay to celebrate my husband’s first Father’s Day. It was great to have direct access to Lake Norman and we had a great time kayaking and swimming with our 10 month old. Lake Norman State Park was just 15 minutes away and we had a great little hike there.

Loved staying here, it’s a cozy little spot right on the lake. Neighbors are so friendly, since there’s a shared dock, you do walk through the neighbors yard just a little to get on the dock. Loved waking up to the lake everyday. My son LOVED seeing fire flies and catching them. Only two things missing, the cushions for the outdoor patio furniture and bath mats to step on after a shower. The location is perfect, not far from Publix and general shopping needs. 10/10 would love to go back again :)

My family and I stayed at Austin’s home for a Father’s Day getaway and it did not disappoint. Austin’s house was exactly as pictured. Super clean, had all the things I needed away from home, and was so peaceful. My kids did not want to leave as his house provided them with all things outdoors that we don’t typically do. They enjoyed fishing, campfires, paddle boarding, jumping off the dock onto this floating island mat, touring Lake Norman on his beautiful boat and best of all having a BLAST on the water tube. My husband and I appreciated the relaxing hot tub while taking in all the beauty of the lake. Austin was so quick to respond to my questions and was just a joy!! We shared some special bonding time together as a family because Austin’s house provided the perfect space to do so. We would absolutely come back and stay at his place in the future.

We were there to visit family. It was a perfect location for us. Minutes from family and restaurants and other outings. The house was very nice. Kids were able to fish, be outside and go for walks during any downtime. Chris was great to deal with. Offered options for us. Replied very quickly to questions and requests. We’re looking forward to another visit there!

We had the best time at Lake Wylie. The place is wonderful and so serene. The house is tucked away and has a spacious lot and driveway so it feels very secluded. It seems a world away from the hustle of everyday life; but then it’s also easy to get groceries delivered or pop out to a store quickly. There are lots of great walking and running trails around too. The bedrooms were spacious and there were two closets large enough to put a pack and play. The beds were very comfortable as well. We loved all the great activities: kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming, floating, ping pong, pop a shot. They had tons of life jackets in all sizes and lots of lake toys and activities that we were entertained for days before we even rented a boat. We loved how the house felt like a true lake house and different from regular home. It was a true retreat and the lake views are so pretty from upstairs. We will definitely be back!

The place was very cute, clean, and in an excellent location! Whenever we are back in Charlotte, this will be the first place we check for availability. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We felt right at home when we walked through the door! We love the fact that the light switches were labeled with what they were for and on top of that it was very clean inside!

They stay was great. The view was beautiful to wake up too and when we got back at night it was awesome. Definitely recommend this place.

This condo was probably the most organized and comprehensive Airbnb expereinces I have had. The condo is very well stocked with everything you need. It opens right up to the pool and you have a nice view of the Marina. Great for a small family. Very easy location - right off the highway. Kim was incredibly responsive. Checking out was easy - there's a checklist to review right on the counter.

The pictures don’t do it justice. It was absolutely beautiful. Had a great little balcony that you could sit out at with little tables. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, pot, pans, and utensils. Plenty of fresh linens ,super comfortable beds and the decor was beautiful.

I have been around Charlotte for a couple of weeks and this was the best place I have stayed in since I have been here!!!! For an apartment this was great! Everything you want and need was there. This was like being at home just in a different place. I would rent this place for a month for sure!

This beautiful condo is at the top of my list of beautiful places to stay! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, great location and waterfront view of the lake! Truly everything it advertises and more!! Would love to go back for a longer stay!
