Villa holiday rentals in Lake Päijänne

It was an amazing summer house, with a seperate sauna and a special bbq cabin. It was very beautiful and peaceful there. The lake is perfect, since it takes very long to get deeper, which is also perfect if you stay here with your kids. Note that there is no shower with hot water, but it was not a problem for us during our stay, since we could just swim in the lake. The communication with the host was fast and very friendly. Only point of improvement that I could think of, are better mattresses, especially for the two beds upstairs.

Das Haus liegt wie beschrieben allein auf einer Halbinsel im See. Die letzen 3 Km führen über einen Waldweg (mit dem Auto gut befahrbar). Das Grundstück bietet großzügig Platz für Aktivitäten aller Art. Spiel und Sportausrüstung ist vorhanden aber teilweise schon stark benutzt. Das Haus und die anderen Gebäude sind sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Beschreibung und bebilderte Anleitung für alle Geräte sind vorhanden. Alles funktioniert und es gab keinerlei Probleme. WLAN Internet ist vorhanden und ausreichend aber nicht besonders schnell. Wenn mehrere Personen streamen wollen reicht es nicht aus. WLAN im Außenbereich ist laut Beschreibung vorhanden hat aber bei unserem Besuch nicht funktioniert. Über einen eigenen Steg gelangt man in den wunderschönen, klaren See. Das Boot ist groß genug für 4 Personen Lediglich der bereitgestellte (kostenpflichtige) Motor ist etwas unterdimensioniert. Rudern ist teilweise schneller 😁. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt im finnischen Wald.

Iso huvila kauniilla paikalla järven rannalla. Tontilla rantasauna, grillikatos, pihakeinu, soutuvene, palju. Huvila on uudehko ja tyylikkäästi sisustettu. Keittiö toimiva ja tilava. Makuuhuoneessa pimennysrullaverhot ja mukavat sängyt. Paikalle oli helppo löytää.

Kohde vastasi hyvin kuvausta. Makuuhuoneita oli neljä, jokaisessa vuoteet kahdelle ja tämän lisäksi vielä yläkerran aulassa kaksi sänkyä, joten suurikin seurue majoittuu hyvin. Astioita oli runsaasti ja ruokapöytään mahtui koko porukka. Leikkuulautoja ja muita ruuanlaittovälineitä ja tarjoiluastioita olisi voinut olla enemmän. Siisti ja puhdas, vuodevaatteita riittävästi. Ranta lähellä, mahdollisuus käydä saunasta uimassa oli ihana. Kaiken kaikkiaan oikein hyvä paikka.

Esa was a magnificent host and is an absolute gentleman. This is our second to book this house and we would highly recommend it. The house was spotlessly clean and the location is amazing. We will definitely be back.

Todella siisti huvila järvenrannalla. "Mökin" varustus A luokkaa ja viihtyisä. Hyvä sauna ja palju. Erittäin rauhallinen ympäristö. Sahalahden keskustaan lyhyt matka joten kaupassakäynti / krouviin tutustuminenkin käy nopeaan. :) Suosittelen kovasti muillekin. Kiitos.

Majoituspaikka oli juuri sellainen kuin kuvien ja esittelyn perusteella odotimme, kaikki oli siistiä ja toimivaa. Sijainti oli huippurauhallinen ja mökin pihapiiri kaunis ja hyvin hoidettu. Sekä päärakennus, että saunamökki olivat viihtyisiä, rantasaunasta oli kauniit näkymät järvelle. Varustelu sisälsi kaiken tarpeellisen. Viihdyimme viikon verran mainiosti.

We had a really nice stay, thank you. Swimming in the river was cold, but it was autumn and the sauna warmed us up. Having the river all the way around was so peaceful and scenic. It was a very pleasant and relaxing time.

Нашей семье очень понравилось пребывание в этом прекрасном доме , очень хорошее расположение и красивая ухоженная территория . Так же нам понравилась приватная территория возле озера , пирс , новая сауна, все соответствует описанию и дом очень комфортен . Есть все необходимое . Так же Ханна и Катя очень быстро отвечали на наши просьбы и вопросы. Мы будем рады вернуться снова !

Die Villa am See mit ihrer Leichtigkeit und Schönheit hat uns vom ersten Moment an Erholung und Ruhe geschenkt. Die Natur ist zum Greifen nahe. Sie nährte all unsere Sinne. Die Sauna mit Blick auf den See haben wir genossen. Den grosszügigen Aussenbereich haben wir rege genutzt. Die Gastgeberin Hanna reagierte schnell und unkompliziert auf unsere Nachrichten. Nur ungern sind wir nach einer Woche wieder abgereist. Viele schöne Erinnerungen begleiten uns. Urs und Barbara

The perfect location for an extended family get-together. Really spacious accommodation with fantastic views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Everyone particularly enjoyed the wood-burning sauna, swimming and boating in the lake and playing tennis on the private tennis court. Incredibly peaceful. No noise disturbance at all. Really good for bird-spotting while looking out across the lake. Sunsets were also spectacular!

Hieno ja rauhallinen mökki lähellä Vierumäen keskustaa. Vierailu sujui kaiken kaikkiaan mukavasti, mutta huonoon nettiyhteyteen kannattaa varautua.

We had an amazing stay at this house! The sauna was a highlight—we used it every day and found it incredibly relaxing. While the ceiling in the sauna was a bit low, we quickly got used to it. The backyard was fantastic, with a whirlpool and a serene view of the lake, providing the perfect spot to unwind. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the beds were super comfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful, chill experience, and we would absolutely stay here again!

Pia and Matti went above and beyond to make out family feel welcome. The place is really spacious and worked perfectly for our extended family. The house feels like a home immediately as you step in. The uninterrupted lake view, 2 x saunas and a very nice TV room with a woodburner/fireplace make it a great stay in the winter as well. Simply a Five Star place with very nice hosts.

Fantastic stay for a larger group. The space was cozy. Perfect location with lots of potential for activities. Highly recommend for a memorable getaway!

It was an awesome jump into the new year! We had 5 beautiful days in an wonderful cottage, surrounded by 100% Nature and 0% stress.

Kaunis ja viihtyisä talo hyvällä paikalla. Kaikki sujui mutkattomasti ja Mari vastasi nopeasti viesteihin. Ainoa miinus oli melko pieni sähkögrilli, jolla ruoanlaitto isolle porukalle oli haastavaa.

Kiitos kun saimme viettää juhannusta Asikkalassa! Kohde oli hieno ja vastasi odotuksiamme. 🙏🏻 Saapumisohjeet ja video talon laitteiden säädöistä olivat tosi selkeitä. Juhannuksesta huolimatta Mirva myös auttoi meitä supernopeasti parin kysymyksemme kanssa.

Wir waren mit drei befreundeten Familien eine Woche über den Jahreswechsel in der Villa Viita. Ein wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde an einem großen See inmitten von Birken- und Nadelwäldern. Ein luxuriöses Saunahaus mit Seeblick, ein beheizter Hot Tub und die große Fensterfront waren unsere Highlights. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Für die Sauna und den Hauskamin stand genug trockenes Brennholz zur Verfügung. Zum Eisbaden gab es ein großes Eisloch direkt am Steg. Die Kinder hatten Spaß an dem kleinen Schlittenhang und gemeinsamen Schlittenspaziergängen. Restaurants gibt es nicht viele, die umliegenden Supermärkte sind aber sehr gut sortiert, sodass wir viel zusammen gekocht haben. Das einzige was man wissen muss: für die letzten 4km durch den Wald sind Spikes in dieser Jahreszeit unverzichtbar und ein selbstbewusster Fahrtstil von Vorteil... Wir können die Villa Viita allen Naturliebhabern, die Ruhe suchen, wärmstens empfehlen.

Fantastic getaway location in an contemporary Finnish lake side cottage. Luxurious feeling with detailed finishing and one of the best modern sauna's I've ever been. Stunning sunset over the lake, best enjoyed from the jacuzzi.
