Waterfront holiday rentals in Lake Päijänne

We enjoyed the quiet at Henna’s place, just outside the city center of Jyvaskyla. We loved taking a sauna and swimming in the lake. We also enjoyed the lawn games provided. The apartment is a bit outside of the city center where the restaurants are located, but we found a place that rented bikes in the VERY bike-friendly city.

I loved the place! So beautiful, clean and peaceful! 🩷 i left My charger in the house and the owner was so helpful and was very flexible with me, i got it back the next day. She answered very fast and was so helpful with everything. I Will stay here again for sure! 10/10 🩷

Majoituin uudelleen tässä majoituksessa. Kaikki oli hyvin kuten viimeksikin. Toki nyt oli rantaraitilla enemmän fillareita yms jotka olivat toiselle koiralleni haasteellisia mutta tämä toki ei ole majoittajan vika🙂🙂 Nopea kävellä Paviljonkiin jossa olin yrityksemme ständillä. Kaikki oli siistiä ja homma rokkasi!

Asunto oli hiljainen ja rauhallinen. Sänky, sekä vuodesohva mukavat nukkua. Sauna ja suuri parveke järvinäköalalla tekivät lomasta vieläkin nautinnollisemman. Asunto on erittäin puhdas ja siisti. Helppo sisäänkirjautuminen. Suosittelen.

Very good location and it is easy to get ind. Apartment has all necessary for two people. It is clean and the host is very friendly and helpful.

Majoittajan kanssa oli helppo kommunikoida ja hän vastasi nopeasti. Huoneisto oli kaunis ja kodikas, viihdyin siellä oikein hyvin.

Wow, what a beautiful location. And such a lovely house. There was a an original sauna on the lake which allowed us a true Finnish experience. Elina was the perfect host. She was always responsive and keen to ensure we had a great time. Anyone booking this place will not be disappointed. We will be returning- maybe when there is snow on the ground. Mökki oli todella kaunis, viihtyisä ja kaikin puolin toimiva, ja yhteydenpito sujui hyvin. Tämä oli yksi parhaimmista kohteista, missä olen majoittunut.

Saunamökki oli rinteen alapäässä, joten huonojalkaisille todella liukkaat portaat saunalle ovat haastavat.

Overall every good experience staying here. Beautiful and stunning views of the lake and trees x. The sauna is also very good. But watch out if you park your cars at the yard, there are trees and rocks you need to pay attention to.

Ihana majoituspaikka rauhallisella sijainnilla! Kaikki oli kuten kuvissa näytetty. Yhteydenpito sujui todella mutkattomasti ja majoittaja oli erittäin avulias. Mielellään majoitutaan uudestaan! Lämmin suositus!

We had a nice as a group with 4 young kids. We enjoyed the great scenery through the large front windows, and especially the nice sauna and the hot tub. The kids loved running around the yard and making s’mores at the fire pit. Nice and private space, likely even better in the summer with the lake. The attention to detail in the house and facilities is really top notch and the house is clutter free (excellent for young kids). The only drawback I’d mention is that the lake water that comes from the sink and shower smells & tastes bad, but it wasn’t really an issue for us as the filter tap for drinking water in the kitchen works great. Just something to bear in mind. Overall, great time and would return.

We absolutely loved Antti’s cottage! We are familiar to the area as my family have had cottages around sysma/lake Paijanne for generations and we are hoping to build our own next year! We loved the design of this one - very modern with some original touches like old stove & clock :-) the sauna was also a little different but very cool! And of course the gardens are exceptional - Especially when they are lit at night! Our daughter loved the paddle boards & going out in the row boat and our dog loved exploring & swimming. The lake was also so flat-calm that I even managed a (very, very brief) head stand on a paddle board :-) We would definitely love to stay again! Kiitos Paljon.

I stayed for more than a week and it was perfect for me. The flat is very well-equipped and nicely situated directly by the lake. Henna is very friendly and helpful and made me feel at home straight away. I recommend 100%.

Oikein ihana ja hyvinvarusteltu asunto loistavalla sijainnilla. Tällä säällä ilmastoinnista valtava plussa. Ruut on oikein avulias ja ystävällinen ihminen ja lisäksi viestittely sujuvaa ja hän oli oikein joustava sisäänkirjautumisen kanssa. Iso kiitos ❤️✨

Pertin asunto vastasi täysin kuvausta. Asunto on viihtyisällä alueella ja asunto itsessään on rauhallinen ja siisti. Autolla on helppo tulla ja pihalla on asuntoon kuuluva parkkipaikka. Pertti vastasi nopeasti ja oli vastassa antamassa avaimet. Viestintä oli mutkatonta. Suosittelen Pertin kohdetta ehdottomasti 👍

Seppo oli todella hyvä isäntä, erittäin ystävällinen ja joustava. Kaikki sujui hyvin ja helposti. Odotukset asunnosta ylittyivät ja sijainti on mitä parhain. Asunto oli siisti ja hyvät sängyt nukkua. Keittiönkaapista löytyi myös kahvia, mistä olimme erittäin iloisia 👍 Ohjeet olivat selkeät ja riittävät. Voin vain suositella tätä kohdetta, ja aion jatkossakin vuokrata tarvittaessa 😊

We were a party of 4 and it was a great experience staying at Eeva's place! It was a beautiful and cosy place right by the waterfront. The kitchen was well stocked, the living room and the balcony had plenty of seating to hang out, and the bathroom was pretty big. The communication was clear, had no trouble getting into the apartment, and parking is available very close to the building. Having a car would make it easier to pick up the keys. Would definitely recommend this place!

Viihtyisä yksiö, josta löytyy kaikki tarpeellinen. Mukava sijainti ja kaunis maisema ikkunoista. Rauhallinen kerrostalo.
