Cottage holiday rentals in Lake Rosseau

Our family enjoyed a nice, quiet stay at Sarah’s place. The view is beautiful, living space is spacious and comfortable, with good wifi, and fishing at the dock is a great way to enjoy some relaxed time. Sarah is very responsive for questions, which we thoroughly appreciate.

This is a beautiful place to stay, right on the lake with an amazing view, and a friendly beaver right next door! Our highlights were the hot tub, the fire pit and kayaking on the lake. This spot would be amazing in the Summer. The house is clean and well set up, the 2 downstairs bedrooms are small but just fine for sleeping. There is plenty of room in the rest of the house.

Amazing time at this wonderful cottage. The hosts were very responsive and friendly, and have put a lot of time and energy into making this cottage an excellent stay. The hosts for this cottage clearly have a passion for making people feel right at home. Thoughtfully, they've left notes, instructions, videos, and even created home automations to make staying here as easy as possible. Everything was fully stocked from cutlery, spices, cleaning supplies, linens, etc. there was almost nothing that they missed out on that a group of people might need! The Hot tub and Suna were wonderful additions that we took full advantage of. The bed rooms and guest houses were cozy and comfortable (with AC/heating). The waters were very nice. Sandy lake that doesn't get too deep until much much further out. The dock was well constructed and great for relaxing. Overall, one of the best AirBnB cottages that we've stayed at in years.

A truly wonderful getaway at a gorgeous cottage surrounded by nature. Jason was a fantastic host, and provided a top notch experience. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the spatiousness both inside the out, and made great use of the firepit and canoes. We will definitely be booking this spot again,, and are grateful to Jason for his hospitality!

Our stay at this Bala cottage was excellent. The property is beautiful and well-suited for entertaining a large group. We found it to be very spacious and clean. There were plenty of activities available on site, including kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding, as well as a hot tub. Enjoying coffee in the Muskoka chairs by the water, with lake views, was a highlight. We would certainly recommend this cottage.

We had a wonderful stay for a girls weekend! The indoor and outdoor space was lovely and comfortable. There was so much wild life visiting the outdoor space which made for exciting views! The lake was beautiful, and calm. Our only minor notes were the hottub as it wasn’t at the standards of clean we expected (sand in it and water was slightly murky) and the dock being covered in bird poop and dead fish. All in all, we greatly enjoyed the space and would love to come back for another girls weekend.

Beautiful cottage and also nice outdoor decoration and nice walk to river with gorgeous lights! We celebrate birthday with family so plenty space for 10 people, 2 kids and 2 infants! Also just mention there’s noise detector which host didn’t mention on description, inside you can be pretty loud only outside have to respect live neighborhood but it wasn’t issue for us to celebrate birthday! Was flexible check-out from Bethany which helps us! Airbnb host is very responsive which is nice, there were a couple messages I had to follow-up on.

Leigh’s lazy lake house was absolutely perfect for a retreat into nature. We loved jumping into the refreshing lake after our hot sessions in the sauna and hot tub! Leigh’s kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen with all absolute amenities. We loved cooking slow meals, while listening to the vinyl records and enjoying the beautiful view! We highly recommend Leigh’s Airbnb for a relaxing getaway in nature with all the amazing benefits of spa like experience!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Less than 1km from OFSC trails (primary reason for our stay). We enjoyed the quiet of the lake, bbq one evening and the wood stove for heat. Michelle, our host, was very responsive to all of our questions leading up to and during our stay.

We had an amazing experience at Erins cottage. The place was clean and in amazing shape. The property is very large and has great access to the lake. We would return again. Erin was very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay at Muskoka Cabana. The location is stunning, right at the water's edge with beautiful, peaceful views of the lake. The outside deck is amazing and really spacious. We did feel that the access was a bit tricky, but I guess the location compensated for that. The cabana itself is really tastefully done, with beautiful homey touches and the kitchen was well equipped. Overall, this was a great stay.

Very accommodative and responsive host. The place is at a great location. It is breathtaking and peaceful.

Quite place, surrounded by tall trees and various animals. Neighbours aren't too close. Large deck to unwind, although, the stairs climbing up from the deck could be a little demanding on the legs. Groceries, stores, restaurants, LCBO is with in 6 minutes from the cottage. Hosts are very responsive and helpful, no matter what time. Kids had a great time. The lake could use a little restocking (for all the unprofessional fishermen 😁). Overall, we enjoyed the time at the cottage/lake.

Beautiful spot with all the amenities. Feels private and secluded yet only a 10 minute drive from downtown Huntsville. James was super accommodating and responsive to our needs, would definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance!

The cabin was perfect! Everything you could ever want! Quiet, peaceful and fun with the ping pong table! I highly recommend Liliya’s Cabin to anyone! The hot tub is such a great added bonus! Everything was very clean and organized! Check in was very simple and checking out was just as easy! Great place for families or anyone who just needs to unplug from the city! Spent Thanksgiving 2024 at Hamza's cottage, it was wonderful, quiet and beautiful, view of the lake from every windows. Hoping to rent again for Thanksgiving 2025. This place is a cottage not a house and you feel surrounded by nature. Having a box stove to use was fabulous. The cottage is cozy, kitchen was well equipped, did a 22lbs Turkey without issues. Large fridge to store food. It was great to have unlimited water supply. Having the bedrooms on a different level and a toddler help for nap time. The dock had plenty of seating and deck as well. Went for lots of walks. Totally recommend this cottage.

Devon’s place was absolutely amazing. Located right by the lake with everything you would want to do in the boathouse. One of the few places that has two bathrooms by the lake. Interior was also super clean, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone considering a peaceful cottage weekend !

One of my favourite Airbnb cottages! The space is perfect for a family (lots of kid focused things) or for a few friends. The property is beautiful, has great amenities like the sauna and water toys. The beds are very comfy and kitchen had anything you could need. All in all this was one of the best experience I’ve had. The host was super lovely, and you can tell they’ve put a lot of thought and care into creating a great experience for their guests.

We had a fun and relaxing trip to Parry Sound staying at Cameron’s Cottage. The cottage was clean, tidy and well kept. Check in was very easy, and Cameron was very responsive and helpful. Thank you for everything!

We had an amazing stay at Whispering Pines Cottage! The views were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing and taking in the peaceful surroundings. The cottage offered plenty of privacy, which made it feel like our own little retreat in nature. One of the highlights was all the wildlife we saw—hawks soaring overhead, a beaver by the water, a turtle sunbathing, and frogs hopping around the pond. It really added to the charm of the place. The fire pit by the water was fantastic, and the lighting provided during the night made it feel a lot safer. It can get really dark out there. The amenities were excellent, too. We had a great time in the basment shooting hoops with a basketball game and playing pool. Overall, Whispering Pines was the perfect blend of nature and comfort. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a quiet, beautiful setting.

If you are looking for a beautiful, tranquil setting this is your place. The home was as described, clean and very well stocked. The outdoor area, fire pit and location are one of a kind. In October the fall colours were beautiful, would highly recommend James’ place for a peaceful getaway.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Priolo on the Bay – Moody Escape, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Andy is a truly exceptional host. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a luxurious yet cozy escape. The cottage itself is immaculate – modern, stylish, and unbelievably comfortable. It strikes the perfect balance between high-end living and rustic charm. Tucked away in the heart of nature, it still offers every convenience imaginable: from fully stocked cutlery and snacks to campfire treats, firewood for both the sauna and outdoor firepit, a gas oven, extra lighters—you name it, it was there.The interiors are spotless and beautifully designed, making the entire space feel like a warm, peaceful retreat. Sitting by the fire, unwinding in the sauna, or just enjoying the serene forest surroundings—it all felt like a dream.This is the kind of place that makes you not want to leave!

Beautiful view of the lake! We really enjoyed the canoe, kayaks and fire pit. One inconvenience was that we had to dispose of our garbage (in the landfill) ourselves (not used to that). Also, the thermostat would not go below 22C and it was too hot to sleep at night at this temperature, but the fans helped a bit. Edwin was very prompt in his responses to my questions. Great host overall!
