What a wonderful house! We arrived at the beginning of a rain storm, and we were so happy to see the heat was already on. It was a nice surprise to walk into a cozy warm house. The next morning we woke to find the mountains all around covered in snow. The views from the house were spectacular. Make sure you bring food when you come, the nearest stores are about 25-30mins away. If you’re anything like us, once you are settled in for the night you don’t want to drive an hour for dinner. The home has a nicely stocked kitchen with most things you need to cook a meal. There was plenty of firewood to keep a nice fire going all day, and the hot tub out back was quite enjoyable.

Little Nest - Hot tub under the galaxy

My husband and I stayed for three nights at the Little Nest and loved it. It was easy to check in and the accommodation was very tidy on arrival. Everything we needed was provided for a comfortable stay. The Little Nest is modern and cute, and in a great location. The street the accommodation was on was beautiful, peaceful and right next to Lake Tekapo. As we stayed during heavy snowfall, the water pipes froze (not the fault of the host, just due to the weather). I contacted the host when this happened and within minutes someone was sent over to help. The man who fixed the issue was so polite, friendly and efficient in solving the problem. We highly recommend The Little Nest for a cosy retreat.

Adele’s place was absolutely incredible — peaceful, private, and surrounded by the beauty of nature, with sheep grazing in the nearby pasture. The outdoor tub under the stars was a magical extra! Everything was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully designed, making it the perfect way to end our New Zealand holiday. Thank you Adele!

Absolutely stunning property in a great location as a base for Lake Pukaki/Mt Cook etc. we were very lucky to witness snowfall which made staying here such a magical experience. Property is exactly as pictured and described - super cosy with good heating during winter too.
