Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lake Wawasee

Although we didn’t actually spend a lot of time in the house since we were in town to visit our kids the space was great. Lots of areas to hang out both indoor and out. Plenty of space and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. We hope to stay there again.

This is a lovely place with all that I needed and a great location and it made a wonderful base of operations for a mix of visiting friends and doing some remote work. It is easy walking distance to the Winona Lake Trails which have both dirt and paved paths through the woods. It is also walking distance from some nice restaurants and a coffee shop. Neighboring Warsaw has some great restaurants within minutes as well. I would definitely stay here again on a future trip!

This place was amazing for our family vacation. The goal was to spend family time together & there was plenty for us all to do. Lots of outdoor activities in nature! The beach was great for adult hang-out & games of spike ball (which we brought), & fun in the sand for the kids. Loved our pontoon boat rides & campfires as well. The indoor pool was great anytime day & night & was always a good back up in case it we had rain. The common areas were large enough for us to all have space & there was plenty of sleeping room. We had an amazing time & will definitely revisit. Ryan was courteous & quick to respond. Absolutely loved this trip!

Melody's communication from the start was amazing. She left a binder with great instructions as well as recommendations. The home was filled with any kitchen supplies you would need, which was very helpful. It was me and 6 kids, they did not leave the pool or game room! We will absolutely visit again.

GPS gave us 2 different locations for the exact same address. one takes you to an intersection with fields everywhere. I had to contact host and all went very well from there. we loved our stay!

We had a girl’s getaway weekend at this lake house . We needed a place to simply relax and unwind, and Polly’s place provided just that. It is in a very peaceful location. We all enjoyed having our coffee/tea in the sunroom in the morning while listening to the birds. A couple of questions came up during our stay, and Polly and Jack were responsive and helpful. Polly even came over to be our photographer when we had an idea for some pictures on the staircase. She was a great sport. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the home was spotless. The fire-pit area and access to firewood was great . If there was any suggestion I could share, it would be to devise an easier way to utilize the paddle boat. We didn’t attempt it, because we don’t believe we could have got it in and out of the lake easily. Other than that, we had a great weekend. I would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Excellent clean home with all great amenities. Host was quick to respond to any questions. Also owners went above and beyond to ship back our son’s air pod without any hesitation! Highly recommend. Amazing outside view of the canal and Lake! The boys really enjoyed fishing in the canal.

We were in town to visit family and the apartment was perfectly located. Clean, well-decorated, and very comfortable. Make sure you check out the bakery below in the morning!

Loved my stay! The farm was gorgeous and so peaceful and rejuvenating. Wish I could’ve stayed longer and would definitely stay again. Dan and Suzanne were friendly and helpful and the apartment was comfortable, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. 5 stars!

April and Jon were outstanding hosts. Friendly couple dedicated to deliver a cozy environment. Place is really beautiful and spacious, located in a nice area with lots of things to do around!

We loved our stay in Lori and Tim’s home, a true urban oasis. It was absolutely spotless, charming, and even cozier in person. There were so many thoughtful touches: a personal welcome note, coffee and tea, snacks, puzzles and games, cozy blankets, sound machines, an umbrella, local recommendations, and on and on. Lori went above and beyond on her communication before and during our stay and we had the pleasure of meeting her! We enjoyed exploring the “oh five” neighborhood with our favorite spots being Old Crown Roasters and Lakeside Park. As noted in the description, this unit is on the main floor and there are shared walls. We heard the guests above us coming in late at night and walking around. But turning the sound machine up along with the fan we found in the closet really helped. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!!

Phenomenal experience! We were in town for a wedding, and it was great to stay at a place to ourselves, and Jeff was super helpful with the accommodations we needed. Overall wonderful experience!
