Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lakeside

This is the first time of this year we stayed at Shawn's house. Yes! We basically stay at Shawn's house 3 to 4 times per year, his house is in a very good location, few minutes drive to everything, nice yard for dogs, clean and comfortable living space. There's nothing we can complain about. We've booked another trip and can't wait to go there again.

Our stay at Kimberley's place was perfect. The 4 bedroom/3bathrooms accommodated our 7 guests easily. There were even couches in the living room and family room which we could have used if someone wanted a room to themselves. Well equipped kitchen with huge refrigerator and nice BBQ grill outside. Its about a 25 min drive to downtown and beaches. Quiet neighborhood. Loved the place and plan to come back!

10 out of 10 I loved every detail of this home from the moment I drove up. stunning views and immaculate home. I definitely will be back. Alyssa was so kind, prompt and such an amazing host. We stayed at Zeina and Mo's place for one week with our East Coast and West Coast children and grands--6 adults and 6 children in all from ages 2-12. We could not have been more pleased. The house was meticulously clean and was spacious enough for all. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to prepare meals at home. An added plus was an outdoor grill under a cabana like space with a table for 6 and outdoor counter to provide additional seating. The pool is larger than it appears in the pictures on the web site. The whole outdoor space was clean and welcoming and proved to be a center piece of our stay. There were plentiful and soft towels for bathing and the pool. Zeina and Mo were promptly responsive to any questions or concerns we had. We left with many fond memories of our week together, in large part due to to how comfortable and pleasant we felt about our stay was at Zeina and Mo's house.

Really great space. Woke up to views of the mountains and horses. Jennifer was very communicative and accommodated us with early check in. She even left farm fresh eggs for us in the morning. Definitely recommend.

Great place. Private and quiet. Perfect when traveling with older kids, got the upstairs apartment all to themselves. Small but extremely comfortable, has everything you need. The property is beautiful and well taken care of. The basketball goal was perfect for the family. Pool was clean. I 💯 would stay here again. Owner had great communication.

Grant: the house was fabulous! My only regret is that we couldn’t have shared it with others! It was the perfect party house. If we’re ever in San Diego again we’re going to see if this house is available. I’d like to share it with family & friends. And I’d like to explore San Diego further. Nate finished in the top 1% of over 17,000 runners in the Rock & Roll half marathon and it was a blessing that he could come back and chill after the race at such a lovely space! Thank you for opening your home to us! We enjoyed our visit. Only one issue: we didn't realize this property was a triplex. Although there was a shared wall that separates the single unit from the double unit (upstairs/ downstairs levels), it still didn't feel private, or comfortable. We were always conscious that other people were also sharing the property, so it influenced our ability to feel like it was a "home away from home."

We had a great stay at Laura’s place! It was an awesome location! We loved the vibe and the at home feel. Everything we needed was provided. Beds were super comfortable, and the entire place was very clean. Having a parking space was also very convenient! Laura was really attentive to any questions, and I can tell that the comfort level of her guests matters to her. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was great, close to many restaurants and shops, great ocean breeze, great ocean view from the room, beautiful grounds, and 5 minutes from my sons house on Camp Pendleton!

This place was great, my family and I had an amazing trip and my kids thought it was magical to be able to walk to the beach. The neighborhood was peaceful and close to a lot of amenities. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. We loved our stay and will definitely be going back. 10 out of 10 will be recommending.

I really loved staying here. I would definitely stay here again. close to the beach and food place nearby. The only thing I wish they would change is the couches. They are not very comfortable for relaxing in after a long day. I loved the patio area I opened the door any enjoyed the weather. The only AC unit is in the living room but they do have fans in both rooms.

We visited San Diego with our grandson and toured his college prospects. Khwaja’s home was perfectly located! We enjoyed the home, slept well, and were able to easily drive to the various colleges, visit Old Town, Balboa Park, Little Italy, and Coronado Island. Khwaja’s home is quiet, comfortable, and the view from the living room window and the deck is lovely. Khwaja was quick to respond to our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

I wish I had more than 1000 characters because this place was incredible! The history in Barrio-Logan was unmatched compared to staying in the Gaslamp area. Hector left great recommendations, had a clean and spacious area, and was so responsive and flexible with check in! Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb or host more.

This home was perfect for our intergenerational family gathering. There was space (and enough bathrooms) to accommodate all of us without being in each other's way but also being able to gather in our larger family group when needed. The location with views of the mountains was relaxing and reenergizing for the holiday with family members coming from all over. Although there were various spaces throughout the house, the kitchen area was a definite gathering space and accommodated well for people to be together and doing different things: cooking and preparing a meal, sitting and chatting, working on a laptop, reading in the family room not too far away. I appreciated the communication prior, throughout, and after our stay.

House is excellent and as described in the listing. Chris was willing to listen to my concerns and willing to compromise, was flexible with check in and check out.

Phenomenal stay! The backyard had so many amenities to enjoy - space heaters for chilly nights, firewood for a real fire, jacuzzi, nice pool. It had several different areas to enjoy… lawn games like corn hole and bocci ball. Hosts are incredibly accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. It was so so wonderful. Thank you so much

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. I will definitely come back for my future family stays!

Liam and Mia were lovely! They were very communicative and responsive to all my inquiries before and during our stay. The place was immaculate and everything exceeded our expectations. There were also plenty of extra towels and comforters, which was a big plus for our group of 10. Definitely recommend!

The airbnb was spotless and Jacqueline was a perfect host. She was very attentive with anything that was needed and check in was a breeze. The location of the airbnb was within perfect distance of everything in San Diego. Honestly couldn’t ask for anything better. If I’m ever in the San Diego area again I would definitely stay here again.

The house is beautiful! The property is even better in person. The house is set up great has everything you need. The backyard is huge and beautiful. Great space to relax and spend most of your time.
