Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lalinde

Everything about this place is top class. The house is absolutely lovely, beautifully furnished in a way that feels both traditional and homely. The location is stunning, a gorgeous commune surrounded by other lovely little towns with lots to see and do. The pool and the garden are fantastic, so nice that we actually ventured out far less than we had originally planned. Our daughters, aged 4 and 2, wanted to move in permanently! Last but not least, Andy and Jacqui are the perfect hosts, super friendly and helpful. This was our first holiday since having kids and we are so, so pleased we chose here. We would love to return.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

We hebben een heerlijke ontspannen tijd gehad. Een heerlijk huis en geweldig zwembad. Lekker rustig, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Patrick heeft ons geweldig geholpen toen we pech hadden met de auto. Echt mensen waar je op kunt bouwen. We komen heel graag terug.

Logement cosy en plein Périgord noir dans un environnement paisible . Belle superficie et magnifique terrasse . Lydia et Julien sont très sympathiques et malgré un long pont de jours fériés , ils ont tenu à venir voir si tout était ok pour nous . Accueil avec une bouteille de vin . Le linge et les draps qui sentent merveilleusement bon . Par contre , wifi un peu juste pour du télétravail. Je recommande.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Mia. Le logement était très propre et fidèle à la description. Le cadre est apaisant et permet une totale déconnexion. Mia est une hôte très réactive. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Lovely place to spend a couple of nights on our trip round the region. Quiet, relaxing surroundings and the gîte had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Nous sommes ravis de l'accueil de notre hôte Jeannine et de notre séjour. C'est un logement idéal, paisible et charmant, bien équipé, pour découvrir les environs : châteaux , plus beaux villages de France, gastronomie. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement. Nous n'oublions évidemment pas le succulent gâteau aux noix de notre adorable hôte, pour notre arrivée, ses précieux conseils de sites à visiter, et l'agréable présence de ses deux chats.

Magnifique maison, au calme, au cœur du Périgord noir. Les quelques jours étaient particulièrement ensoleillés. Le matin, petit déjeuner sur la terrasse en surplomb face à la nature qui s’éveille. Le midi, déjeuner à l’arrière de la maison à l’ombre dans le jardin. Le soir, retour sur la terrasse pour un dîner face au coucher de soleil. Le tout, sans vis-à-vis. Les seuls compagnons peuvent être les moutons voisins et les chevreuils. La maison est vaste et agréable. Et le hamac intérieur permet un repos original, au frais, lorsqu’il fait chaud dehors. Odette, de vrouw van François, ontving ons vriendelijk en liet ons direct thuis voelen. Zij zorgde ervoor dat wij direct in relax-modus konden. Wij kregen ook tips over wat wij eventueel konden doen en omdat wij op doorreis waren, wat we ook beter ergens anders konden doen. François en Odette kwamen tijdens ons verblijf meerdere malen checken of alles naar wens was waardoor we ook gezellig hebben gekletst. Zeer gastvriendelijke mensen en een top studio (die schijnbaar ook nog gerenoveerd gaat worden). 'S ochtends vertrokken wij om 08:00 en zij stonden klaar ons uit te zwaaien. Zeker een aanrader!

lieu magique l'univers d'Harry Potter est bien représenté notre fille était très contente . La Taverne du sorcier ne serait rien sans une parfaite gardienne du temple sabrina remplit à merveille ce rôle fans d'Harry Potter pressez vous !

Un logement parfait situé dans la vieille ville pour faire de belles balades avec un glacier à deux pas que nous avons apprécié. Adrien est très attentionné et disponible pour ses voyageurs Encore merci pour le petit cadeau pour nous même mais aussi pour notre chat. Le logement est très calme et paisible. Tout équipé pour passer un séjour parfait nous avons également profité du jardin. Nous recommandons le logement les yeux fermés et nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the apartment and its terraced garden. The view from the terrace is a pleasant one overlooking rooftops and towards a hill. It was nice to meet Ralf on arrival who showed us around, explained how the apartment worked and had time to have a chat - so much nicer than arriving to a lockbox. This is a new listing so I think almost everything is brand new - which was a plus. The beds were firm and to our liking. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils - which is great as I like to cook. There is a nice dining table and chairs on the terrace as well as other outdoor furniture. The apartment is really close to the historic centre of Sarlat - probably a five minute walk. Also close by is a bakery and it is only a few minutes walk to the supermarket if you don’t want to drive to the bigger supermarkets on the outskirts of the town. The property has a locked gated entry with parking just to the side of the apartment.

appartement spacieux' et agréable' bien équipé et tout est fonctionnel. Dany et Monique se sont montrés sympathiques et nous ont bien renseigné sur les différentes activités possible sur le lieu. nous recommandons fortement. Merci à Dany et Monique.

Super séjour chez Isa et Ridwan. Très bonne communication. Appartement impeccable, très bien entretenu et décoré avec goût. Ce fut un plaisir d’y séjourner. Je recommande !

l'appartement est magnifique, le bâtiment de style médiéval m'a enchanté, proche de tout, de merveilleux restaurants aux alentours, la cathédrale en face est tout simplement magnifique. Je le recommande vraiment et je reviendrai un jour

We just spent a few days at this amazing apartment in La Roque-Gageac. The place is in a building several hundreds of years old, renovated with lots of taste, beautiful and modern bathrooms, a lovely courtyard with tables and chairs to relax in, comfortable beds. Adrien and Marion are a wonderful couple that welcomed us warmly. Our children loved their gentle dog, Indi - we loved the restaurant next door. The perfect place for a glass of wine and a taste of their remarkable food! Right in the center of la Roque-Gageac, loads of things to do such as hikes, castle visits, going to markets, cooking class, biking and canoeing (what we couldn’t do due to poor weather conditions). I highly recommend staying here! All the best to Adrien and Marion!

fantastic place.. kids 11,9,5 loved trampoline, ropes course, swing and heated pool (which is alarmed so provided peace of mind) steep stairs to 2 bedrooms on lower floor where older kids slept. 5yr old and us slept in two bedrooms on ground floor with kitchen, lounge, dining etc. BBQs every day by pool. very private yet 5 min bike ride into village (although hill on way back - our 5 year old managed it but had to walk). great sports park in town with pump track, football pitches, tennis courts, basketball and crazy golf (all free but take equipment) and pop up bar! kids insisted on going back daily! good kid friendly pizza restaurant, pharmacy, bank, post office, minimarket amazing boulangerie, market with local produce on Mondays all in town. recommend flat traffic free cycle ride from Le Bugue to Limeuil (6km) on velo verte along valzere river (fab market on Tuesday in le Bugue). also amazing day kayaking down Dordogne (aquafun in limeuil) host v responsive and place immacate

We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

Super séjour entre amis. La maison, l’extérieur, les alentours, tout est sublime nous recommandons très fortement ce logement. Qui plus est l’hôte David a été très accueillant et amical. Rien à dire tout est parfait 👌🏽

Beautiful house and pool gite. Everything that you needed inside amd outside the house plus lots of extras, like dishwasher tablets. Beautiful surrounding area and great local town (Lalinde) with good restaurants and cafes. There was a market on Thursday which was good. Great host who was very helpful and responsive to our needs. Would love to come and stay again next year.

This is a beautiful house. The photos don’t do it justice. The surrounding countryside is peaceful and quiet. The house has pretty much everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Val was a kind and attentive host who responded to our messages quickly and was helpful with recommendations for bakeries, patisseries, restaurants and days out. Sadly the weather meant that the pool was a bit too cold to use but we used the plentiful seating in the pool area a lot and were able to eat out on the terrace in the evening. I would thoroughly recommend this beautiful home and we may well be back another year.

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

Nous avons passé un court séjour chez Pierre mais il fût réussi. Le logement est agréable et nous y avons bien dormi. Pierre a été réceptif à notre demande d'arrivée tardive à cause des gros bouchons rencontrés sur l'autoroute vendredi soir, veille de week-end prolongé. Juste un petit bémol, nous n'avons communiqué que via le site airbnb, heureusement téléchargé sur le téléphone, ce qui n'est pas hyper simple quand on n'a pas d'alertes comme moi. Il faut chaque fois se connecter à la boite mail ou au site airbnb. Je regrette un peu que Pierre ne m'ait pas donné son numéro de portable, cela aurait été plus simple et plus convivial. Depuis mes nombreuses locations airbnb c'est la première fois. J'ai été un peu surprise que ma demande de numéro de téléphone soit restée sans réponse. Nous sommes arrivés tard et repartis tôt le surlendemain et n'avons eu aucun contact direct, dommage.

Un séjour en famille formidable. Gite fort agréable et environnement enchanteur et calme. Hôtes conciliants et très sympathiques. Merci beaucoup
