Garden Retreat - Loire Valley

Our 'Garden Retreat' is a tranquil, elegantly furnished cottage overlooking a sunken garden. The accommodation has a bedroom (queen-sized bed), a fully-equipped kitchen, a sitting area with a sleeper-sofa, and a small office mezzanine. The garden is large with multiple places to sit and enjoy the shade or the sun. The Loire River itself is only 150 yards from the flat. Large individuals take note: the shower is a standard 67cm x 67cm. Although we love pets; but we have a one pet only policy.

At the bottom of a cul-de-sac, not overlooked with a private terrace, come and relax in this quiet and elegant accommodation. Completely renovated in 2024, our 19th century house, made of regional tufa stone, will seduce you with its luxurious charm and modern comfort. We can accommodate up to 6 people. This gite is labeled Gites de France 3 épis. NB: our other cottage (adjoining) can also accommodate up to 6 people, perfect for your reunions for families or groups of friends.

"La Belle Poire" cottage with an area of 100 m2 located in the heart of the Loire Valley castles in a small town known for its pear tapée. Accommodation is located upstairs. Bedroom and bathroom accessible from the living room via 4 steps. We are located either 5 km from Rigny-Ussé, 15 km from Chinon, 10 km from Azay-le-Rideau and Langeais, 15 km from Villandry and 5 km from the Loire bike path in Bréhémont. The cottage is located in the countryside, on the D7, 3 km from the A85 motorway, 3 km from the Loire bike path, close to the castles of Villandry, Langeais (6 km) and Azay-le-Rideau (7 km). Fontevraud Abbey, the castles of Chinon, Saumur, Chenonceau, and even Chaumont-sur-Loire are accessible within the hour thanks to the expressways. Bike shelter available. Private parking. The cottage is completely separate from my house which is nearby. You're my only guests.

"Le jardin au Tilleul" gîte in the heart of Langeais

Close to the Loire à Vélo cycle path, in the center of Langeais, we offer a house for 4–6 people in a very quiet courtyard, ideally located for visiting the castles of the Loire (Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau, Rigny-Ussé, Tours, Saumur) and the vineyards of the region (Bougueil, Chinon). Langeais is a small lively tourist town with many shops and restaurants within a 5-min walk. The Sunday morning market has just been voted "most beautiful market in Indre-et-Loire".

At the foot of the Château de Langeais and its garden, "Côté Cour" is a private space in the courtyard of a detached house a few steps from the shops of the city center. Ideally located a few kilometers from the castles of Ussé, Villandry and Azay-le-Rideau, the place is perfect for a short stay to discover the region, shaped by the Loire and classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your bikes will be safe in a private inner courtyard.

L'échappée d'Azay

Welcome to L'Échappée d'Azay, We welcome you to a lovely cozy tuffeau stone house, in the heart of the village of Azay-Le-Rideau.  Located 600 m walk from the Château and local shops (restaurants, butcher, cheese maker, supermarket, wine cellar...), it is the ideal starting point for visiting the Châteaux de la Loire and the cellars of the region.  No less than seven castles are nearby (Langeais, Villandry, Chinon, Rigny Ussé…).

Very new apartment in the heart of Langeais

2021 apartment with tasteful decor so everyone can have a pleasant stay. Located 100 m from the castle, market and shops, you can do everything on foot (free parking on the street). The apartment is fully equipped so all you have to do is unpack your bags (sheets, towels provided)! The bedding is new (Dunlopillo brand), baby equipment (baby bed, high chair). A closed shelter is available to store bikes.
