Surrounded by meadows and forests, relaxation begins right outside the front door. Wonderful forest walks offer new discoveries every day. Fallow deer, sea eagles, bats and cranes are not uncommon. Lake Selenter with the best swimming quality borders directly on the village and the Baltic Sea can be reached quickly by car.

Ideal for family house with large garden

Our house is located in Schellhorn, a small, idyllic place between Kiel and Plön, which borders directly on the small town of Preetz. Lake Lank (with two swimming areas), Lake Kirch and the small town center of Preetz with market and cafes are within walking distance. Kiel is 20 minutes away and the nearest beach at Schönberg is 30 minutes away by car. Our house is ideal for families with children. We have a large garden with two terraces, seating, sun loungers, swing and sandbox.

A great house with a large garden right on the lake. Perfect area to relax. You can reach Kiel and the Baltic Sea in 10-15 minutes by car. Julia and her family were loving hosts and communication was always great. We'll be back.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely home! The garden was absolutely enchanting, with plenty of cozy spots to relax and unwind. It was so peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect getaway. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful lakes nearby and the sea just a short drive away. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat.

Carmen and Claus' apartment is even better than the photos, recently renovated, equipped with everything you need and more (water, coffee, tea). Extremely quiet and peaceful location but at the same time convenient for visiting Kiel and its surroundings, there is also a bus stop near the house. Claus welcomed us even though we arrived late in the evening and this made us very happy. If you decide to go to Kiel, you have to book this accommodation, we felt at home! Thank you for your hospitality, Carmen and Claus.
