Chris’s place is one of the best stay’ve been to. Some of the highlights were as follows but for us the biggest was the tiny little waterfall and steam next to the house. With windows open, the perpetual sound of water flowing through the stream was out of nature’s best book!! Other highlights included: - Gorgeous and spic clean home - Lots of ways you can engage kids - Completely equipped home from kitchen to baths, to games, to kayaks - Chis was always available to support and respond. The only negative we’ve experienced was that house could be better equipped against mosquitoes. We could barely enjoy the gorgeous outdoors deck or the hot-tub due to mosquitoes. We certainly dont expect Chirs can take care of them all, but some more measures like covering the bath tub area or upper deck would make the place like a dream!! That said, we are ever so thankful for the opportunity to stay here, and what’ll always be a cherished memory!

Sanja is an incredible host! Very friendly and responds super fast. The cabin was perfectly cozy and included great amenities. The hot tub was large and very nice for a chilly night. Definitely recommend!

We love this cozy airbnb. It's a perfect size for a family of four and filled with all the comforts of a warm chalet. The enclosed hot tub is such a treat after a long ski day and the family enjoyed the available boardgames and fireplace. Highly recommend!

This place is the perfect escape. Jenny stocked it up so you will never be bored. Every time I turned my head there was something exciting to see or do. It has everything you could possibly think of. Think you forgot something? Nope, Jenny's got you! The house decor was absolutely magnificent. And for those of you that are concerned, this place was CLEAN, spotless. I would and hope to book here again.

Location was great. The place was as described. We had a good time. Kevin was also very responsive and fixed a small issue for us quickly upon arrival. Would recommend

We’ve booked with Alain multiple times now because his cottage truly offers one of the best values out there. It’s always clean and cozy, and the jacuzzi is a fantastic touch. The location is great too—just a relatively short drive from Ottawa, making it a perfect getaway without spending hours on the road. Highly recommend—10/10, would definitely book again!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The place was very clean, modern, and nicely upgraded—it felt comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Harsh’s cottage is pure magic. Surrounded by peaceful nature and trails, it’s the perfect escape. The open-concept king bedroom with sunrise views, the soothing jacuzzi, and the dreamy outdoor fireplace under the stars made every night unforgettable. But the highlight - Harsh helped my Fiancé plan the perfect proposal. We returned from dinner in Ottawa to find rose petals, glowing candles, a “Marry Me” sign on the deck, champagne, cake, and a handwritten card. It felt like stepping into a fairytale. Harsh went above and beyond with heart and care. A mesmerizing, romantic haven we’ll never forget. Thank you, Harsh.☺️

The cottage was very clean, and had everything needed to make you feel right at home. Attention was paid to every little detail. This cottage was absolutely beautiful and I would rent it again in a heartbeat! Scott has been wonderful to deal with, he is very communicative and easy to talk to.

Kim & Scott’s Honey Bear Cottage is a beautiful, peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The setting is incredibly serene, yet there’s lots to do both at the cottage and nearby. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Kim & Scott were fantastic hosts—friendly, responsive, and made everything feel easy. It was the perfect spot for a getaway and we had an amazing time. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

This is a beautiful cottage. The lake access is the real highlight and the hosts have really leaned into this providing lots of opportunities for water recreation, including a good sized dock, multiple kinds of boats (kayaks, a canoe, a peddle boat, and paddle boards), and a large floaty that acts as a second dock. Speakers at the waters edge were a nice touch! The hosts were also great. Very responsive and friendly, and proactively reached out to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The cottage itself isn’t huge if you plan to spend the majority of your time inside, but this wasn’t an issue for us as we spent the majority of our time by the water. It was big enough to fit 10 around the dining table for meals and games. All in all, it was a great experience.

It is a beautiful place and just like the pictures wonderful owners and were very open to our special needs. Open communications and they check in to see if there is anything else you need or if something is missing. Great location and private. We have referred this location to other members of our family and will look and see if it is available the next time we come this way

It was a great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Having a hot tub and fire pit by the water was great.

Fred’s place was perfect for our last minute planned vacation. Clean, cozy and beautiful location. We did not cook, but the kitchen was very well supplied! Keurig coffee maker or french press. The place is easy to find contrary to other reviews and Fred was responsive with pictures and clear directions. Easy to get in the place, plenty of parking. The decor definitely shows Fred’s touch. So much better than a hotel. Pristine location. Probably lots to do in the summer time as well. There’s 2 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 5 I would say. 25 minute drive to Mont Tremblant. I definitely recommend.

Claudine’s place was truly magical peaceful, cozy, and full of charm. It’s right on the edge of a national park, so you get to enjoy beautiful nature and spot all kinds of wildlife. I especially loved the friendly goose wandering the property and the two deer that showed up from time to time such a serene experience. Claudine was such a wonderful host, warm, welcoming, and thoughtful throughout. Would absolutely stay here again!

The chalet is beautiful: well located, well equipped and very clean. Lots of activities to do on the lake: pedal boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. The private dock is in excellent condition, with a ladder that makes climbing and descending much easier! The whole family liked the stay. The kitchen is very well equipped: the essentials for cooking, dishes and utensils as you would expect at home! The chalet is cute: even if it's not very big, it's well configured with a lot of terrace space and outdoor gallery, with mosquito net, spa and bbq in addition. Sophie and Alain are excellent hosts: they responded quickly and helped us when we needed it. In short, I gladly recommend this chalet!

It was perfect (5*). A beautifully decorated, large comfortable space with absolutely everything needed & then some. Very comfy beds, cozy bedding, everything was super clean, tidy, organized, wonderful amenities, responsive host…Perfect.

The place is magic!! We had a beautiful stay. Very clear instructions, the view from the Chalet is just something else! Comfortable beds, lots of towels, essentials in the kitchen. We had everything we needed. The only negative perhaps is the cleaning.... we had to pass the broom for the whole chalet because there were more than 200 ladybugs inside, mostly dead on the floors, and we also had to clean the grill. There was hair in the jacuzzi upstairs and the furniture on the main floor could use a bit of cleaning. But everything else was simply amazing. If you come with small kids, be aware there is no security for the stairs, looks like once there was, but not anymore. The lake was still frozen, but espectacular view from the deck and the place next to the lake to spend time when the weather allows has everything you need. I would definitely repeat.

Beautiful location, great cottage, good for fishing, bbq, and campfire! Ideal for a cottage weekend with friends!

This is my second time staying at the Sun House. It was just as amazing and memorable as the first time. Beautiful and picturesque surroundings, a warm and inviting cottage space with great amenities. If you are ever in Quebec and want to stay in a place that feels like a home away from home, but nestled in the Laurentien Mountains, then the Sun House is definitely the place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Sylvie's place. It was very clean, and had all the amenities you need for a peaceful stay. I can't recommend this place enough.
