Very pleasant stay in a well-located apartment in La Rochelle, clean and tastefully decorated

Nice apartment in the suburbs of La Rochelle. Arnaud and Ingrid were very helpful host. Good connections to public transport and city bikes.

Emmanuelle was very helpful prior to check in providing us with multiple options for motorbike parking, even sending exact locations via drop pins. The apartment is in a busy area with plenty to do and see. Great view from the apartment. I would definitely recommend to friends and hopefully visit again!

We felt completely comfortable and fell a little in love with the Ile de Ré. The accommodation is very pretty and furnished with an eye for design and attention to detail. Kitchen has everything you need and you can make good use of the small garden. Bed very comfortable, everything super clean. Location is great, right on the beach and opposite a beach bar. Yes, the traffic is sometimes loud during the day, but the windows close well and that's just the (in my opinion acceptable) price for the location directly on the water. The village center of Rivedoux Page and supermarkets are within walking distance. We rented bicycles (on Julie's tip), which is great, especially for longer stays. St. Martin de Ré, for example, is quick to reach by bike and worth a trip. Julie always responded very quickly to questions.

Great location, great communication and lots of information provided. The apartment was fab, very spacious and nice decor, had everything we needed and more for our 3 night stay including a great terrace!

Right in the heart of la Rochelle. A alot of restaurants and bars outside your doorstep. Place was as it is described in the listing. Be prepared to juggle parking. Look for green zones or park outside of city take a cab in.

Very happy stay. The accommodation is impeccable, the location of the apartment is perfect and the explanations received to access the city center on foot or by bike are very appreciable. Possibility of parking the vehicle in the reserved courtyard but limited space. Numerous parking options in the vicinity.

Everything was perfect. Sylvie is very kind with a very warm welcome. For your information, brioche, fruit juice, tea or infusion, coffee, sugar are at our disposal, convenient for the 1st day. We'll be happy to go back.

The accommodation is perfect for a stay as a couple. The beach is barely 2 minutes' walk and shops are also accessible in 5 minutes' walk. This is the perfect place to park the car and enjoy. Everything is as described with quality materials. I highly recommend it!

Isabelle was extremely welcoming, available and accommodating on our arrival. The accommodation is ideally located in a peaceful setting and at the same time close to amenities. Everything was perfectly clean and tidy. There was even enough to make a hearty breakfast, a charming attention. Isabelle took the time to explain the walks, the restaurants, the must-sees of this pretty island. We strongly recommend this kind host. We'll be happy to go back

We had a lovely stay at Angélique and Christophe's. The house was well located, comfortable and well equipped. Angelique was very responsive on the phone. The instructions were clear and detailed. 5 minutes' walk from the port of La Flotte where there are plenty of shops, restaurants, a market... And there is a beautiful beach 10 minutes away. The pool is very clean, heated and part of it is quite deep (2.20 m) so great for swimming a little. We recommend this family accommodation

We had a wonderful stay here for our week in Il de Re. The location of the house is brilliant, in the very centre of the village and just a dander away from restaurants, shops and beach. The house itself is so much more beautiful in reality, a very old renovated fisherman’s cottage with pretty features and lots of atmosphere whilst being super comfortable and with modern facilities. Delphine, our host, was so friendly and helpful with a great sense of humour. The only downside to the rental was the extra charges for laundry and cleaning, I’d rather this was all upfront. Bins are also difficult to navigate. Overall though, I think this is my favourite ever airbnb. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our week at Jacqueline’s cottage very much. It’s a well kitted-out holiday home. Five minute walk to the beach as well as the shops/market.

superb location close to beach 8 minutes walk plus bars restaurants on the way to the beach. House lovely with many different levels and steep steps to downstairs room means it's accessible only to mobile people! Nathalie was always responsive and a very kind person. Quiet at night even with the bistro next door as it closes at 11pm and the food there was excellent. Everything we needed was there. Beds were extremely comfortable. We had no car but didn't need it as the number 4 bus (stop is La Sauvegere) went in and out of the centre very frequently and you can pay the fare contactless which was very handy. Beautiful view from the front terrace and the back terrace was great for drying washing! It was too hot 28-33c for us to eat out there but I'd imagine in cooler weather it'd be lovely. Overall a wonderful time.

We had a great time at Stéphanie's place. Very well-equipped and perfectly clean, it is extremely well optimized for a studio. Its location is very convenient for enjoying Saint-Martin, its port, restaurants and shops on foot. We rode bikes every day and everything was suitable thanks to the bike room and the proximity of the trails. The plus: the beach is less than 15 minutes' walk away!

Very quiet for the studio. For those who love walking, I've been spoiled. Xavier is responsive and helped me a lot. Good restaurants.

Comfortable and very well located accommodation, 20 minutes walk from the old port of La Rochelle along the sea and 8 minutes from Port Neuf. Adapted and quality amenities Everything is provided. Beautiful sea view from the balcony. Small confusion about the cleaning we are asked to do, while being charged on AirBnB.

We had a great time at Patricia's place. The apartment is as advertised, very clean, well-equipped and ideally located, with a magnificent sea view. Direct access to the beach is a real plus. Patricia is a very attentive, responsive host and gives good advice for visits and activities in the area. Thanks to her, we were able to enjoy good places and organize our outings easily. We would definitely recommend this listing.

Excellent stay in Arnaud's apartment. Very well received by Fadia. The location is perfect for going to La Rochelle in 10 minutes on foot by the sea.
