Monthly Rentals in Le Bourdeix

We spent a truly memorable fortnight in this most magical of settings – our best Airbnb experience to date! The cottage is gorgeous inside and out. Inside, the accommodation is spacious, incredibly comfortable and finished to a high standard with taste and thought. Outside, the garden is lovely and completely private, with gorgeous views (securely fenced all round so doggies are safe). The cottage is situated in a setting that is tranquil, steeped in nature, but not at all isolated. We could walk the short distance to the local hamlet of St Estephe where there is a fantastic bakery and lovely little café/bar. There is a large supermarket a short drive away in Nontron (which also has a fantastic gym with very reasonable day rates). Most of all, we enjoyed a level of hospitality that is second to none - Angus is the perfect host, personable, approachable and unfailingly helpful (and Bella is the most adorable and friendly doggy). The perfect holiday!

We had a great time! Marie-Claude is charming and welcoming. The place is ready for a green one! In a quiet, typical and flowery place, it is a real haven of serenity. If in addition you are lovers of bucolic walks, this is the perfect place. I would 100% recommend!

This weekend was very relaxing, and that's what we were looking for. Aude and her partner were very welcoming and provided very good advice on restaurants and activities in the area. A very nice place that we will keep in our notebook to come back for sure. Thanks again you two!
