Peaceful and comfortable, my home (classified as a 2-star furnished tourist accommodation) has been renovated using natural materials (wood, steel, and lime). Located in the heart of a hamlet next to Fontdouce Abbey, this is a little slice of paradise where you can relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. The Orchard Cottage

The Gîte du Verger is a charming renovated house, located between Saintes and Cognac. It is equipped with an indoor 5-seater hot tub and offers you all the comfort and well-being in a green setting. This house includes on the ground floor 1 living room with equipped kitchen, 1 room with SPA, shower room and separate toilet. Upstairs, 3 large bedrooms, a bathroom with bathtub and toilet. Outside, 1 large garden, 2 terraces and a bocce ball court. Linens, towels and dish towels are provided.

The Gites benefit from beautiful thick stone walls which help keep the rooms cool in the summer, whilst retaining the heat in the winter. The Hanger provides a great place to sit and eat anytime of the day (or just sit and relax) with that all important shade in the summer. We live in the house on the other side of the courtyard and are there to provide you with any assistance you may need with your stay, or to leave you in peace to enjoy your relaxing holiday at Les Grandes Ecures.
