Le Pigsty at a Brittany Watermill

Reconnect with nature at this memorable escape Dating back to 1163 we are renovating our watermill on the banks of the river Couesnon, (which flows into the bay of Mount Saint Michel ). Our Pigsty gite which over looks the river, is located in the grounds of our water Mill We are in rural Brittany at the heart of the farming community. The sound of running water and wildlife gives a location in which to unwind and take in nature, such as the kingfisher or Salamander should they be about!

Gîte 2/4 pers, close to Mont Saint Michel

Quiet cottage for 2 people, in the countryside (possibility of 4 people with the sofa). Located 30 min from Mont-Saint-Michel and 15 min from Fougères, this cottage (adjoining on one side with another cottage 11 people) is the perfect base for exploring the region. On the ground floor, a living room of 20 m² with living room and equipped kitchen, opening onto a private terrace. Upstairs: a bedroom, WC and a separate bathroom. A pétanque court is available, shared between the two cottages.

Independent entrance (digicode gate + key box) overlooking common guarded courtyard. Only 1 parking space. Amenities available for a pleasant stay. Small green courtyard. The house is perfectly suited for a couple, bedroom with 160 x 200 bed. Shops within walking distance (bakery, tobacco, newspapers, pharmacy...). Close to A84, Avranches 20 min, Rennes 35 min, Fougères 15 min, Mt St Michel 30 min... Cleaning is not included in the rate: it must therefore be done before your departure...

Gite 4/5 people in a hamlet

Gite sur trois niveaux avec cours et jardin ensoleillé. Grand espace vert à partager avec des jeux de plein air comme le ping-pong ou le badminton. Du gite vous pouvez effectuer des randonnées vtt ou pédestres. La salle de bain ainsi que les WC sont situés au premier étage. A une demi heure du Mont Saint Michel, 3/4 d'heure de la cote d'Émeraude. Mise à disposition de vélos pour vos ballades et aussi un stand-up paddle gonflable pour La plage ou l'étang de Boulet.

The house is located 10 minutes from the town of Fougères, famous for its medieval castle and its lower town, 30-35 minutes from Mont Saint Michel and 1 hour from Saint Malo. Beaches are accessible in 45 minutes (Granville). Bikes available.
