For the lover of peace and space. In the middle of the beautiful scenic landscape of the Westerkwartier is our farmhouse. We rent out the old chicken shed as a Bed and Breakfast. In the area you can feel free to go hiking or cycling. Directly at a junction route. Public transport and a supermarket are within cycling/walking distance. Drachten and Groningen are 15-25 minutes away by car. Leeuwarden is about 45 minutes drive. Breakfast package possible, preferably passed on before arrival.

Welcome to Klein Nienoord, staying in a beautiful farmhouse from 1905 close to Groningen. The house has its own entrance and garden and is fully equipped. The luxurious sauna is a nice place to relax and if you want something more active you can use the gym. Within walking distance is the entrance to the Nienoord estate where you can take a beautiful walk. We have bicycles for rent to explore the area. Good to know: we do not provide breakfast. You do have your own kitchen with an oven.

Back in time with the comfort of today. And you sleep in one of three bed cities! There is underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove. You have a private entrance and you can also use a seat under a centuries-old linden tree. The cottage has a kitchen/entrance. A living room and a shower/toilet room. Breakfast is possible for 13 euros pp. Please note : the bed cities are smaller than a double bed . The 2 bed cities in the room are 200x115 and the bedstee in the kitchen is 190x120

You are welcome in our cozy apartment that is very centrally located in the north of the Netherlands. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the city of Groningen. The Westerkwartier is characterized by the beautiful scenery. The provinces of Drenthe and Friesland are just around the corner. In a half hour drive you will find the Lauwersmeer area from where the boat leaves for Schiermonnikoog. You can order a delicious breakfast via Goldenraand catering before 12 o'clock.

Relax and unwind in your own sauna and wood-fired hot tub (optional / booking) Great base for wonderful cycling and hiking tours. As well as business overnight stays, there is a 5-minute drive from the A-7 in the direction of various major cities. We provide a luxurious, varied breakfast, where we use the fresh local products and natural the fresh free-range pipes of our own chickens.

Beautiful base to discover the North! Located in Groningen, but also on the border with Drenthe and Friesland. Forests nearby for hiking and cycling. For example, you can sniff out culture or shop in Groningen, Assen or Leeuwarden. Or how about a visit to Veenhuizen, which has recently been added to the UNESCO world heritage list? A day boat can sail on one of the various lakes in the area. Wellness centre ‘de ‘Waterlelie’ is nearby. In short, plenty to see and do.

Parking in front of the door; private garden with cozy seats. Through the entrance you enter the fully equipped kitchen-living room. The bedroom has a luxury Karlsson box spring with 2 mattresses. From your bed you can look out the garden or into the forest.

Chateau Weiland Incl Breakfast

Chateau Weiland is a lovely bright cottage with its own entrance plus views of the greenery. A good bed and nice shower. Equipped with every comfort, such as well-functioning internet (fiber optic) , an air conditioning,and a kitchenette. With nice weather you throw the doors open to the terrace and you can enjoy the sun on one of the sunbeds in the garden.
