An excellent stay. To start with, the place is a LOT bigger than the pictures suggest! It’s decorated well and you immediately feel calm on entering. The kitchen is absolutely huge dominated by a nice island. The bedrooms are large and beds pretty comfortable. We had a great stay overall.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was a perfect distance from our daughter we were visiting. The farm animals and their shenanigans were a nice treat. Richard and Amy were very responsive and any issues we had were solved almost immediately. We visit the UK at least once a year, and plan on staying at this location again.

Excellent accommodation in idyllic and peaceful surroundings. The annex is beautifully furnished, with everything provided for a comfortable stay. The amazing garden was an ideal place to relax. The area is lovely, close to Rutland Water, with pleasant walks. We would love to return to explore the area further. Our host, Veronica, communicated well prior to our arrival and was on hand should we need anything. Thank you.

After a horrendous experience at the original property we had booked, we contacted Brendan and Sarah very late Friday evening to see if they had capacity (following Air B and B refusing to help find somewhere) They responded so quickly to get us booked, communicated clearly, and couldn’t be more helpful during our stay. The property is beautiful, was spotlessly clean, had every thing you could ever need (coffee, pool table, ironing board, secure, entertainment, parking etc etc) Myself and friends were away to attend our friends wedding and honestly this saved our weekend and I can’t tell you how much of a relief it was to end up here. It really is a stunning property and perfect for a group. Thank you again for being great hosts and having such a gorgeous property xxx

We had a great stay at Paul's house. We found everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The house is very well equipped and the surroundings are peaceful. There was always space to park in front of the house. The weather was warm, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful garden full of flowers. Paul was always proactive and very responsive whenever we needed anything. We totally recommend staying at his place!

Adie made us feel very welcome, and made sure we had everything we needed. He left us bread, milk,cereals,teabags,coffee and even a bottle of wine, etc. We were just a little surprised that we had to be out by 10am, we could have done with a little longer. It was great that the dogs came and visited as we were missing ours. Thank you Adie for a wonderful place to lay our heads and get ready for our granddaughters wedding.

This cottage is what fairytales are made of ….absolutely gorgeous. Cozy and very well decorated . Our host Suz was very attentive and went above & beyond to make us feel at home . If I could live somewhere it’s certainly be this cottage . We felt emotional checking out what can I say….10/10

Great place to stay. Comfortable & clean with good facilities. Good location to access plenty of local events/ sightseeing. This was our second stay here with our dogs & would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay in this quiet, cosy loft right in downtown Melbourne. Loft is just off the Main Street in a very quiet alley and was a wonderful home base for picking up the bus to download festival and there were several charming businesses within walking distance. The loft was clean and tidy, everything was in good working order and it was a comfortable place to relax after a long day of sun and music. Would definitely book this property again.

We had a lovely stay at the coach house, both Lynda and Ian were incredible hosts. extremely helpful and just really lovely. The garden space was spectacular, something out of a fairy tale with little nooks to sit and relax, beautiful flowers and vegetables growing and to top of off, the chickens and their lovely dog Winston were a pleasure to meet. thank you both for being so accommodating, and even helping with my wedding guest dress disaster! The fresh bread, preserves, milk & orange juice were a fanatic bonus!

Great location in a pretty and peaceful village. Provided a much needed relaxing break. Enjoyed the nearby walk accessed through the church yard with the view of the countryside beyond. Clock Cottage is a well thought out property. Open plan, providing comfort and calm. All essentials plus added extras; the luxury of the rolled top bath & bath robes, a welcoming box of treats & drinks. Fairy Lights added a cosy glow above the bifold doors at night. There's also a great spacious bathroom with a fab shower. Can easily divert between the rainfall and hand shower heads, with plenty of hot water. Loved the beautiful garden and patio area. Private access from on street parking right outside through a separate gate with stones and level paving leading to the bifold doors. Established beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers edge the property and grounds with a lovely large lawn to enjoy in the sunshine. My dog did! Rutland Water is a short drive away. Will return to explore more.

Thank you for a lovely stay. The flat was clean and quiet and beautiful. The location was great, right in the centre of Ashby. All the instructions were easy to follow for self check in and I really appreciated the update to say that the flat was ready before the check in time.

A great place to stay. Spotlessly clean throughout. Bed mega comfy. Easy to find in Hinckley. Net Mary who came round, very friendly, good, clear info as bout the accommodation. Very polite and professional. No hesitation in recommending for others to stay, and we would stay again if in the area.

I was amazed, as others have been before me, at the generous number of provisions provided to make anyone’s stay easy and comfortable. I kept finding more each day. It is quite unusual but implores such gratitude from a visitor and makes it feel like the host is a caring person. I was also amazed at the accommodation itself because it is well planned and offers so much in a small space. It was quiet there and the bonus was being able to park on the premises. I would recommend this place.

Fantastic room. Really thought out so well . My son wanted to keep the room. There are utensils, towels and toiletries. Underfloor heating. Pull out tv. V comfy. Temp control. Hot shower. It’s just perfect

I have stayed at Tim’s place before and every time I stay it’s just perfect. The bed is really comfortable and the shower is nice to use. I will be back when I’m in the area again

The stay was beautiful and perfect. It was clean and cozy. With access to a private garden and a quiet area, it was perfect for quiet evenings. The city centre is close by - 10-16 minute walk. Christina, the host, was friendly and responsive! Would definitely book again!

What can I say, the cottage was fabulous. The welcome basket and fridge was overflowing with items for us to use, also there was the hot chocolate maker which had the ceramic cups and 4 bags of the hot chocolate mix to make lots of delicious hot chocolate. Everywhere you looked there was something else which had been left for you. In the bathroom, there is a basket with all sorts of little things (just in case you forgot to pack them) ie make up removing cloths, toothpaste etc. The bed I could have taken home with us, it was so comfy with gorgeous bed linen and soft towels in the bathroom. We only stopped three nights and wished we had booked it for a full week. (But there is always next time) We had meals at the Grainstore Brewery and also the early bird menu at Sarpech, both meals again were fab. Sue is great to speak to, and was very pleased we liked the cottage so much. Thanks for being great hosts x

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at The Old Apothecary. It was so cosy and beautifully decorated throughout. Loved the balance between old and new, the heated floor in the bathroom was great and I imagine would be a huge treat in the winter months. Melbourne itself had lots of great pubs and restaurants to choose from, perfect for a little weekend getaway - would recommend!!
