Absolutely loved this delightful garden flat, beautifully decorated and in such a peaceful location, with easy access to public transport and free on street parking. Will definitely book again.

I loved this unique little apartment. It felt homey and the story behind the building is pretty cool. There was a grocery store, many pubs, coffee shops and restaurants very close by. It is walkable to Edinburgh - it takes about 50 min to an hour. There is a hop on hop off bus (company has red/green/blue buses/lines) that stops just a short block from the flat - take their blue bus to get dropped at stop #8. It’s also a great way to learn about Edinburgh and Leith! Paul and Lawrie were always available to answer questions, and Paul left no end of great restaurant recommendations!! We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet flat.

Highly recommended. This place is comfortable, clean, modern and spacious. Teresa was extremely welcoming in person and there was everything we needed. She even left fruit, snacks etc in addition to a well stocked kitchen. The location is great. It’s quiet yet close enough to walk to a good size store (Tesco), some restaurants and pubs. The bus stops are right outside to get into the city and tram a short walk.

We actually stayed at Michelle's place for four months and it was a great home away from home. Check in went smoothly and her instructions were super clear. Any time there was a problem she responded very quickly and got the problem solved immediately. Great shower with nice body wash, shampoo, conditioner. Updated kitchen with all the appliances you could need. We only had to buy small things like paper towels, sandwich bags, garbage bags, etc. Comfy bed and overall comfortable stay. Big dresser and huge closets for all our things. Washer/dryer in the apt was a must and it was great. There's a clothes drying rack as well. Location was lovely and we enjoyed being so close to everything, we walked all over. 10 minutes to Calton Hill, 30 to the Royal Mile, 20 to St James quarter. Also maybe only a 5 minute walk to the tram stop which can take you all the way to New Haven or the Edinburgh Airport with lots of stops along the way both ways. Close to bus stops as well.

Small cozy apartment in a quiet location. The center is super easy to reach via the train connection or you can explore Portobello on foot. Jamie was extremely friendly and helpful and responded quickly to messages.

Lovely flat in a wonderful location, great views, easy access to transport (bus and tram) with walking routes to restaurants and some attractions, large supermarket close by. Flat is exactly as described and per photos, Christina was quick to respond to queries, easy self access, the flat is very clean and comfortable and well equipped. Would stay here again.

Great base for a few days in Edinburgh particularly if travelling by car as there is secure parking underneath the property and 1 minute from tram stop that goes to old town. Comfortable property with pleasant views and good facilities. Good location near restaurants and supermarkets etc.

Conveniently located a short walk from the tram, close to Sainsburys and lots of cafes, bars and restaurants but nice and quiet. Kitchen equipped for cooking, bed comfortable, shower good. We come to Edinburgh a couple times a year and this is top two of the seven places we've stayed in Leith so far. Small issue with the TV probably from a previous guest but the hosts resolved this effectively and were informative and quick to respond to any messages. Recommended!

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb during our trip to Edinburgh with my parents. The location was excellent—central, safe, and within easy reach of key attractions, public transport, and some great cafes. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made check-in and any small questions really easy to handle. It was a comfortable space for all of us, and we appreciated the quiet surroundings at night. Overall, a great experience—we’d definitely recommend it to others traveling with family!

This is a fun place to stay, in a quiet neighborhood with fairly reasonable parking options for those who are choosing to rent a car. Definitely take a look at bus routes etc, as we did not find this spot to be walkable to most highlited areas in Edinburgh. The bus was an easy 5 min walk from the space and we found it easy to navigate with Google Maps. Over all the places was very well kept, the host was fabulous. The Art in the home is ALL female paintings, books, posters etc... quirky or creepy you decide. So if you don't mind women staring you down from every window covering, painting, or poster then you'll enjoy your time in this art filled space.

This was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. I can not recommend it higher and I will cherish the memories forever

Hidden gem. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful, being situated in the middle of the park (yet still in town). Lovely home, spacious. Host is super responsive to questions. Easy walk to a pub for some great food and drinks.

8 of us stayed for one night. Easy to find and access, spacious enough for all of us. Comfortable beds, plenty hot water, brilliant shower. Accommodating host, terrific and quick communication with Axel. Would definitely stay again. Thank you. Axel!

This was my favourite stay on Airbnb so far. Mark was an incredible host, with great communication, clear instructions and generosity with everything (we made full use of the Nespresso machine 😂). The flat itself was beautiful, very nicely decorated. you can tell just from looking at it that a lot of thought and effort went into it, has a lot of personality, and quite clear that mark uses it himself as well. would definitely recommend to anyone who doesn't mind the slightly higher price and a few flights of stairs :)

We loved our stay at Emanuele's flat. It was exactly like the pictures and felt very cozy. It felt great to come back and relax after a long day of exploring the city.

Hanna has a beautiful appartment ideally situated to go around Edinburgh without being in the busy parts of town. It is well stocked and very confortable for a short stay in the city for a person alone or a small group of people (we were three). Hanna is a very responsive host that answers quickly. I highly recommend staying with her!

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Was a good place and close to restaurants and the station. Had come for a conference and was very easy to commute to the international centre. Very reasonable prices as well! We had a good time. Thank you
