Family-friendly holiday rentals in Les Contamines-Montjoie

Very pleasant stay in this quiet accommodation with a breathtaking view. Comfort and very high-quality equipment, we had a very pleasant weekend. Thank you to Marie for her little attention to our arrival which was very much appreciated.

Great extended weekend at Amandine's. The cottage is comfortable and friendly. Nordic bathing is a plus. The hikes nearby are very beautiful! A small haven of peace!

It was everything and more 😊 A very warm and above-and-beyond host. Was a treat to live in such a cosy but spacious Chalet, while in Chamonix ⛷️

A really unusual and beautifully converted little mazot or chalet. Looks characterful and rustic on the outside but it was very modern and nicely kitted out on the inside. The space is tiny but we found it perfect for two. We were there in June so could enjoy sitting out on the terrace. We are both over 6ft so had to watch our heads in the bedroom which is in the eaves. We also found the stairs very steep and tricky so would caution people who are not very sure on their feet. One had to be very careful with middle of the night trips downstairs downstairs to the bathroom! Both the living room and the bedroom have a traditional unglazed window which is sealed by a large wooden door which it is brilliant to throw open to enjoy the mountain air, even when it's raining or snowing. Very atmospheric! The mazot is in a quite spot just on the edge of town but everything is 5 to 10 minutes walk away. There is even a japanese and also a savoyard restaurant a few minutes walk away.

We had a great weekend in this small cottage with very welcoming, flexible hosts and good places to stay. The accommodation is very good. I would highly recommend it!

The stay in the castle was something very special for our whole family (6 adults, 3 children aged 4, 6 and 11)! The atmosphere is particularly elegant, the view is awesome, plenty of good amenities and the surroundings are gigantic! We enjoyed the garden with the different seating areas, played a lot of table tennis and hiked from the house, spent a wonderful afternoon at the lake directly in Bonneville, appreciated shopping in the village (especially the Fromagerie) and were from there in Chamonix (cogwheel railway: fantastic - gondola on the Aguille du Midi and hike from the middle station: breathtaking!) and in the "horseshoe valley" with the many waterfalls: highly recommended! Very nice, large chalet in the mountains. Nice big living room with view on the mountains. We had a pleasant weekend. We were two families and the house was large enough for us to feel confortable. Very well equipped as well!

Very nice apartment in a rustic Savoyard chalet, Alain and Sandra welcomed me very well, quiet and close to a lot of activities, I highly recommend it.

The apartment was very nice, the sleeping areas were very comfortable. The location was good, very close to both the downtown as well as hiking trails. Pierre was very quick to respond and friendly, and even gave good recommendations for the area. It did get quite hot in the area and the apartment got very muggy on a few nights, and I would have gladly paid more for some kind of AC. However, no air conditioning is typical for the area so it is not a knock against the apartment. On the nights where it cooled down and the windows were open the apartment was very comfortable and gave a beautiful view of the mountains. If I were to ever go back to Chamonix I would consider staying here again.

Lovely little place as a base for hiking around Chamonix for a few days; a number of places nearby so not an issue that cable cars were closed and supermarket a few mins drive away. Note the staircase to the bedrooms wouldn't be accessible for some but is as shown in the photos

Nathalie's accommodation is beautifully located in the mountains with a fantastic panorama. The view from the dining table is truly unique, it is a pleasure to see the sun rise in the morning. Truly a magical place. The cottage lacks nothing, even tea, coffee, oil, etc. are available. Thank you for the nice time and the good directions (if you stick to them, you can't really miss it).

We had a great time. Spacious apartment for a ski home! It is located at the foot of the slopes and easy to access , very quiet residence with a great view. Lorraine was very responsive to our requests. We'll be happy to come back hoping to get some snow next time 😉 Ophelia

Sophie is a very friendly host and she really helped me with the check in. Spotless place, very convenient location, especially if you ski in Les Arcs. Just a short walk to the funicular. Would 100% recommend.

Everything is very good... Except for me, the contact. You give it importance where you don't, but I haven't had any contact with Christele except by SMS. This is not my vision of Airbnb, but a perfectly liberal vision... Just the feeling of being a cash drawer, two text messages to remind me to leave at 10 a.m. for the next tenant and that's it. I'm giving 5 stars because I don't want to harm Christele... But maybe Christele is called Georges... Basically, I don't know... I'm probably old-fashioned... I send a final text message to inform them of my departure... And nothing, no return, not even a good road... quickly to the next!! In short, for the rest of the services... nothing to complain about, the value for money is very decent, this rental was efficient, profitable, productive. Thank you, Georges...

Very nice discovery! Welcoming host, available, very nice accommodation, well equipped, and with a great view from the terrace. Lots of things easily accessible - restaurant, hikes, supermarket, bakery... but come by car if you want to ski!

A cosy appartment with a phenomenal view, very well located in Arcs 1600 with direct access to ski slopes. Nice terrass too. Good parking place as well where the car is parked safe and shielded. Excellent communication and clear instructions on how to get there.
