Tigh A'Mhulillin is a beautiful and peaceful place. We've just spent a week enjoying spectacular weather and scenery and observing the wildlife from the house. The house is immaculate, well equipped and extremely comfortable with lovely touches. Jamie has thought of everything. Thank you.

Loved our stay in Balallan. The house is perfectly located for exploring both Lewis and Harris. The swing seat overlooking the loch was a highlight of our stay. Many thanks also for the lovely welcome gifts too. Much appreciated.

Alec was immensely kind to recommend an alternative route from Skye because of change of ferry service. I updated him with my whereabouts and he and his wife were at the front garden waiting for us to arrive safely. He made us very welcome to his immaculate property ...the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in - and we have stayed in several all over the world. There is even a summer house in the back garden too. The property was as clean as my own house; equipped with every appliance we needed. This was more than an Airbnb - it was a cosy home from home. Thank you Alec and your wife, Fiona. I would not hesitate to recommend Mackay House as a warm inviting space to to base a visit to Lewis and Harris. The property is well equipped throughout. Christina the host was very kind and attentive from the outset: the moment that we arrived she made us feel welcome and went to the trouble of explaining how the household appliances worked to ensure our comfort.

Our stay at Liz's cottage was perfect, Very cosy, confortable, with little attentions that were really appreciated. Sheeps are litteraly in the garden, very nice memories. Thanks again for the warm welcome

We loved this place, very well appointed, and clearly loved by the host. Warm comfortable house and brilliant shower, what more can you really want?! Lots of light and beautiful views. Make sure you get something from the Mollans chippie on Thursday or Friday….! 😁

We really enjoyed our stay, it was a unique quiet cottage but within walking distance of restaurants and public transport. Richard was a very helpful and responsive host and flexible with our check in time. We would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Stornoway.

Dot's accommodation was perfect. It was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was a very quiet neighborhood, we were able to rest wonderfully. As described, it has no kitchen, but it does have dishes, glasses, a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a toaster, so we were able to have breakfast at the accommodation without any problems. Communication with Dot was perfect too, she was attentive to everything we might need. It's a luxury to have been able to stay in Portree. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay, short drive from town with stunning views. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Melanie was a great host. Always quick to respond and offered some recommendations. Definitely recommend staying if you're visiting the area.

This was our second trip to The Barn on Skye. We dreamt about coming back as soon as we left last year. We actually planned our entire stay around the cottage availability. The views and location are spectacular- out of a dream. And you’re located right along Brothers Point trail so it’s amazingly convenient. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. We stayed with our two children ages 2 and 8 and they loved it as well. We look forward to hopefully staying again next year and making it a tradition for our annual trips to Scotland!! Thank you again for a spectacular stay and memories!!

This stunning apartment is very peaceful. The views are worth the remote location. Be sure to get some groceries before you head to the house because the nearest town is 8 miles (25 minutes) away on a one lane road. Mary and her family are fabulous! We really enjoyed meeting them.

An absolute gem of accommodation. everything you needed, really comfy bed. Lots of lovely touches, fresh flowers, homebakes , biscuits , sweeties, milk, eggs meats butter and jam and juices. Highly recommend Graham's place, and definately will come back. Graham and Piegi were always available, and helpful too.

Ticket Office was immaculate! Quirky and really well renovated from what it was. Very clean and comfortable throughout and well equipped with more than you will need! Lovely touch with gifts on arrival. Nothing is any trouble and communication was excellent through the booking process up to departure. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here! 🚂

A very stylish, comfortable, warm and cosy place to stay with views of Skye, weather permitting. Sorry it couldn’t be longer. Love the decor, very comfy lounge and bed.

We loved Mary Flora’s place - it was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Mary Flora was so lovely and provided us wonderful hospitality. We used the kitchen a lot and loved the stainless steel cookware. We really appreciated that the cookware was great quality. The bed was so comfortable. The shower had great pressure and was hot immediately. Thank you Mary Flora. I would recommend her place to everyone and would stay here again if we come back to Skye.

Very high standard accommodation, well equipped, comfortable, and modern. Ideally situated in the centre and an easy walk to shops, bars, and restaurants, and with its own on site parking. Mark and Eve are excellent hosts who quickly responded to enquiries, and were happy to offer useful advice (in our case, where to hire bikes). We had a wonderful stay and enthusiastically recommend.

One of the most, (if not the most), beautifully located places we’ve ever stayed. The house was spotless and well-equipped with amenities. Rosie was a brilliant host and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. I'm so glad we decided here rather than staying in the town, which we were at first considering. Can't recommend this place enough!
