Carol and her husband were genuinely the loveliest hosts we could have asked for, we felt very welcome and right at home when we arrived. Such a beautiful property inside and out, we were was amazed by their attention to detail, the Annexe has absolutely everything that you could possibly think of and a few more things on top! It’s gorgeously decorated and presented and the beds were super comfortable with high quality bedding, linen and towels. The scenery is just stunning, the location is very quiet and peaceful and we all thoroughly enjoyed watching the birds and the wildlife in the fields every day. Our children (10 & 11) loved the mezzanine room, which gave them their own space, overall we found the Annexe very spacious and well laid out and we couldn’t wait to return after a day exploring, it was just perfect, super cozy and homely and Carol’s famous home made biscuits didn’t disappoint! If you’re thinking about booking, just book! as this place and your hosts won’t disappoint.

I spent the weekend at a charming cottage with my husband tucked away in a beautifully secluded area, and it was exactly the escape I needed. Surrounded by nature, the views were absolutely stunning—rolling hills, quiet woods, and skies that lit up with stars at night. It felt like being in our own little world, far removed from the noise of everyday life. Carol and her husband were very accommodating to us and ensured that we were happy with everything in our stay. Would definitely recommend to all and we would most definitely stay again!

Great few days at Stephen’s place. Superb central location to visit different places in Devon and Cornwall. Site was quiet and the caravan was just right for what we needed.

Absolutely a perfect place to spend our anniversary week. Ann and Ian were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Gave us our privacy and answered all of our questions. The hut was amazingly clean and clutter free. You can see the effort put into making the hut cosy and comfortable. The garden was well taken care of and private with a lovely lovely view out front. Prices per night were just what we wanted as well. We highly enjoyed our visit and will plan to come again!
