Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lexington Township

Shay was so welcoming to our group. She provided clear check-in instructions and what to expect prior to leaving. She was very responsive to messages and was very so helpful. The house itself was great and accommodating our large group. The back deck was wonderful to hang out on during the day and the bonfire closer to the water in the evening.

100/10 stars. Dog friendly is a huge plus, Denise responds extremely fast and is always kind, she was very flexible with us due to after wedding/honeymoon timing. The home was immaculate, perfectly decorated, right on the water, kind neighbors, we loved the extra coffees/hot cocoa/snack items and toiletries she has set up. Better than any hotel 100% I cannot possibly recommend this place or any hosted by Denise enough. If you’re considering this listing I say take it, you will not be disappointed.

Very nice new accommodations. Had everything we needed. Kitchen and laundry room well supplied. Host was very friendly and accommodating.

Jana’s place was perfect for a cozy girls getaway, it’s at the end of a short road where we could walk to the beach. Too bad the weather was cold, we talked about staying in and drinking wine with the fireplace on. We all had trouble figuring it out, but Jana immediately responded with updated instructions and was even ready to send her daughter out to help us within 1/2 hour. We went out in downtown Saturday night and there was so much to do. Great food, live music and so so so many friendly people. It was about a 8-10 minute drive to town so we quickly went back and did more shopping before leaving Lexington on Sunday. We LOVED Jana’s beach house and hope to stay there again.

Andrew’s spot is nice for a quiet getaway. Myself, my brother and his son did a little golf trip in the thumb and it was a great place to hang out after rounds. Flat spots for yard games, fire pit. Home was really clean. Good decor but nothing felt in your way. Beds were fine. Bathrooms were great. Loved the quiet and the dark—the stars were great. Nice view of a farm behind house.

The church was a fantastic place to play with the kids. There is lots of room for activities making it much more fun than a hotel. We played hide and seek for hours! The church is a bit drafty in cold weather, but there are plenty of additional heaters provided. It remains comfortable if you are prepared for it.

Kirsten and her husband went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay. The hot tub was out of commission (beyond their control) and Ryan went out of his way to try to fix it and then made sure we had firewood. It was a beautiful stay - thank you for having us!

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

From the moment I messaged Louise she was very open,honest and kind. Super easy to get a hold of and responded quickly. Answering anything I asked. The home is gorgeous. I cant even begin to tell you how beautiful it really is. Every minor detail, decor piece and little detail is so well put together, homey and thoughtful. The house has a welcoming feeling about it to the point where youre so calm and at peace. That doesnt come easy. The rooms are spacious, and lots of storage if you need it. Bedding and beds are wonderful. The bathroom is also super amazing with a double sink for getting ready. The yard is stunning and well maintained, you can tell she takes great pride in every aspect of their home. It was a dream to stay here and I can not recommend it enough!! If you have the chance, please go stay here.

Cassandra was super awesome😌 I made a long drive from the bottom of the states and the house was very welcoming. Any issues or questions I had, she was very responsive and thorough especially considering I was unfamiliar with the area. I enjoyed my stay and felt safe (solo woman traveler). The actual apartment was very cozy and had a great layout. You can tell the building itself is old, but they've kept up with the apartment. Great location, everything is 5-10 mins away from each other. Enjoyed my stay

The Hen House is the perfect place to host family or friends for a little getaway. When I arrived, the space was even better than the photos and very spacious. The location is right in downtown Lexington with lots to do, including restaurants with live music, the beach, coffee shops, bars, and cute shops selling local goods/crafts. There are a couple things that did bum me out, including a few outlets not working in the bathrooms, and the parkinglot not being cleared from snow— stairs VERY slippery— but those are not simple fixes for some airbnb hosts and I get it!! There was a shovel and ice salt supplied 👌🏻 Everything else was perfect and more than enough for what we were looking for.

My brothers and I with our significant others always get together for a weekend at the Renaissance Festival in Holly and this was literally the perfect cabin for us - close enough that we could go to and from if we needed a break during our long days at the Faire and peaceful enough at night to come back to and relax or play games like we love to do together. Plenty of space that we could all have beds and felt cozy. The lake is beautiful this time of year and even was warm enough that we could have swam after if we wanted or weren’t warn out from our long days. Parking was easy to figure out even with four vehicles. Host was responsive and super helpful and even allowed us to check in early when we realized that we would rather all drive in together last second. (Whoops! Poor planning on my part.) There was even provided water which was lovely as well, and a really nice touch when it comes to well water! Thank you so much and we will be back!

We had a great weekend getaway for memorial weekend and celebrating my sisters birthday! They went above and beyond and helped decorate the house before arrival and it could not have been more perfect! The boats were great! The house was in tip top shape! I have no complaints and we made amazing memories! The hammock was also an added bonus!!

The pictures made it seem bigger than it actually was but overall, it was a very cute and peaceful place to stay. They gave recommendations for places to eat, shop, and get coffee along with providing the necessities for living while there. The layout is wonderful for a little vacation to just get away from the noise. We were given a lot of privacy while still feeling like we could ask for anything we needed. When we had questions all I needed to do was ask and I got a response within 5 minutes on two different occasions. Very pretty and well taken care of. I would definitely reccomend it to anyone looking to get away for a while.

Beautiful cabin! (A little jealous I don't own it!) We were there for an ice fishing weekend, had a great time and the cabin was perfect for relaxing after a long day on the ice. Very cozy!

This Airbnb in the woods was absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful—just the escape we needed. The home was fully stocked with more than enough amenities to keep us entertained throughout our stay. One of our favorite highlights was game night! There was such a great variety of games provided, making for hours of fun and laughter. Every detail of the space felt intentional and welcoming. We truly felt at home and will definitely be booking again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect in nature.

During our recent trip from Georgia to visit my elderly father and reconnect with childhood friends, we stumbled upon this amazing Airbnb property. My girlfriends and I were celebrating our 50th birthdays together, and having our fathers join the celebration made it even more special. The location of the property was absolutely perfect, just a few miles away from my dad's place. It provided the ideal combination of privacy and space for our group, making our stay truly enjoyable. The property is beautiful. One of the standout features of the property was the incredible showers with body sprayers– a luxurious touch that we all appreciated. The well-equipped kitchen also made meal preparations a breeze, adding to the overall convenience of our stay. Staying at Matthew's Place was a delightful experience for us. Nestled in the charm of the 1950s, this fishing cabin brims with character. It's cozy and quaint, yet it doesn't skimp on cleanliness or convenience. Located near the enchanting Village of Clarkston, it offers easy access to local neighborhoods and the downtown area on foot. The serene lake, adorned with ducks, swans, and turtles, provided a peaceful backdrop to our stay. Rick managed to catch a big large- mouth bass, which, in the spirit of catch and release, was returned to its aquatic home. We took advantage of the canoe for a gentle paddle on the lake. We brought our own life vests, though Mathew does provide everything we needed. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and we wholeheartedly recommend Matthew's Place to singles, couples, and small families looking for a quaint getaway with a touch of adventure.
