Holiday rentals with beach access in Leyte

The whole place felt private and peaceful; beach access and the pool was definitely A+++. Absolutely enjoyed my morning coffee while looking out to the ocean. Our room is simple, but it was comfortable. Our stay was great but was made even better by Mercy and Oppa who went above and beyond, they made us feel welcome and we enjoyed chatting with them. Will be coming back for sure! Thank you ❤️

Camotes Nook is a delightful private 1 bed studio with a bathroom situated on the grounds of Camotes Villa, which is a grand house overlooking Santiago Bay. It had access to the grounds of Camotes Villa, an infinity swimming pool and direct private access from the clifftop down to the beach. The beach offered safe swimming, no noise or visible pollution and some nice coral to snorkel. Mercy and her husband (the caretakers) were ever so helpful, and couldn't do enough to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. We hired a scooter which was brand new from Mercy. The owner is lucky to have such kind and attentive caretakers looking after his property, it really is immaculate along with the grounds. There were a couple of good local places to eat (Backpackers Hostel and Santiago Bay Hotel). A 15 min drive to Consuelo there was a wonderful eatery called 1 Stop Shop which we also thoroughly recommend. We look forward to visiting again in the near future, Best Regards, Toby and Diana

We had a wonderful time staying at Norm Cris’s! Perfect place to stay in the area - beautiful view, clean and peaceful surroundings, accommodating owner and caretakers. The bayfront is just a little too rocky, but the water is so clear and it got some corals and fishes even from the shore. Will definitely book again the next time we’re in Southern Leyte!

My family was very happy and enjoyed their stay in the place. Definitely will consider next trip. The property was big and very clean with all basic necessities was available to used. Very secure and quite place and very close to all amenities in the city. Host is very responsive and helpful. Thank you very much for a lovely experience for my family. Bill was not there during our stay but his wife Cristina welcomed us very warmly and was lovely. We had breakfast which was very good. The place was magical, better than in photos and once we arrived at the place, we were so sad to leave it. We loved it here!

We ended our 5 months travelling with Bill and Christina and it was the best place in our entire trip. The accommodation is a real paradise setting with virtually your own beach and personal cay to enter and exit the sea. The treehouse was always clean and very safe as there were always friendly housemaids and handymen around. Their dogs are adorable and so friendly too. Bill and Christina provide a breakfast I would return solely for. Bill and Christina are so hospitable and helpful in every way they could. We felt at ease quickly and they have a great insight into Philippine culture. They both also have an amazing life story which is compelling and infectious and they hold real life wisdom. I would not hesitate to book this place again. We left feeling so satisfied, looked after, and with great life insight.

Second time staying at Gina’s place. My favorite place to stay near Sogod bay because of the beautiful views. This place is quiet, private, peaceful, with access to the water and no street noise. The place was very clean and the caretakers are very nice, helpful and accommodating.

Sun and Sea is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The location is breathtaking, with stunning sea views and a peaceful ambiance. The accommodations were spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped for a perfect stay. The host went above and beyond, offering great local tips and ensuring every detail was just right. We loved sipping coffee on the terrace at sunrise and strolling along the nearby beach. The amenities, including the pool and lush gardens, made our stay even more special. If you're looking for a serene and luxurious getaway, Sun and Sea is the place to be. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful place! Would be interested to come again. The place is peaceful and pretty. They also are in an area where the phone data is really fast (because it differs a lot in different parts of the island) so even if the wifi is limited we can still use data.

I would highly recommend Josie's place to travelers looking for value in great accommodations. The premises are spacious and located in an idealic setting. The Management Team is responsive and very friendly. I plan a return stay soon.

However, it might not be the best fit for party enthusiasts due to its surroundings. The three-bedroom setup is cozy, although only one room has air conditioning. Overall, it's a wonderful spot for a relaxing and serene stay.

Very nice neighborhood. Nice and quiet and peaceful. You can hear the sea waves in the background. A simple house with a very provincial feel but modern touches. Ma'am Janice is very helpful and responsive as well in spite of being outside the country.

You have to see it to really appreciate the peace and quiet here. I used to bring a towel to the small dock and lay down here to look at the stars. The only sound you hear is crickets, frogs, birds. So cool! The house is an older traditional hut with all modern amenities needed to make your stay remarkable. Fast internet. A/C. Hot water. The hist left a bottle of rum in the fridge which I was not sure it was free to take so I replaced it. But it really helped on the first night after a 12 hrs flight and 3 hr ferry ride for me. This place was perfect to hide from the world and relax. There is a nearby village. You can get to it by car within 10 minutes. The main city is about 20 minutes away by car. The staff is amazing. Helpful and very accommodating. I highly recommend this property !
