We stayed there for a few days and felt very comfortable. The apartment is very nice and in great condition, especially the fireplace was a highlight. We also liked the kitchen, super equipped and cozy. We had a good time and would be happy to come back!

Great place with beautiful surroundings! It's definitely worth the visit to Herrischried! Great Butcher shop and Edeka nearby. Recommended are the walks in the fields, the Scluchasee and the Black forest Line in Todnau, just 30 min by car.

Bernard's place is amazing for a perfect homely stay... there is everything you need here and much much more, is extremely clean house,easily accommodates up to 8 adults though we were 4 adults and 3 kids.. has ample parking space.. last but not the least Bernard is a extremely nice person and great host.. he proactively enquired about our arrival time and personally greeted us with a lovely welcome surprises.. suggested us and provided information on places we wanted to visit.. very flexible with checkin and checkout times .. we can extremely recommend this place to anyone... its a stay that you will remember and cherish for long time. we will definitely be back here if we travel to places around here again. The house is fantastic! It is tastefully decorated and fully equipped for a family of 7 people as was our case. You can see that everything is taken care of down to the details. The location is perfect for visiting many interesting sites around Basel, from the Le Corbusier chapel in Le Ronchamp to Zurich, Lucerne, the villages of Alsace and Strasbourg. It also has a supermarket and a pharmacy within a 5-minute walk and the area is super quiet, ideal for resting after a day of sightseeing. We definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to get to know this area!!!

A very quiet and peaceful place. A little chilly, but the fireplace and electric heaters make it up. Especially recommended if you want some peace and quiet.

The accommodation was just like in the photos: modern, clean and furnished with great attention to detail. We were there for a few workshop days for work and felt completely comfortable. The quiet surroundings and stylish ambiance created an inspiring atmosphere in which creative work was wonderfully possible. Saartje is a great hostess. Very warm, quick to reach and always helpful. All our questions were answered immediately, and a later check-out was also completely uncomplicated after prior arrangement. We were 100% satisfied and can recommend the accommodation without reservation, both for professional stays and for private breaks.

We had some cold days with rain during our week. That was also a reason to book this house. With nice weather, it is great to stay outside in the garden with the terraces and when it rains there is plenty to do inside with lots of space and freedom if you go with two families. Frank responds very quickly and friendly. Everything was clean. The description is what it is! There is plenty to do nearby and within an hour's drive through the beautiful Black Forest, there is plenty to do. Beautiful lakes, zoo, beautiful villages, cable cars to go up on the mountains. Very nice!

Really nice villa with a superb view over Bludenz. Support from the owner and their service company was outstanding. We had, or at least we thought we had, issues with the heating and the dishwasher, both were fixed on the same day. Nice and friendly team.

Excellent location for visiting Freiburg and hiking. We were a group of 6 adults (2 married couples and 2 singles). Everyone had their own room. The was upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. I appreciated the age of the house, built in 1871 (if I am remembering correctly, according to Frank). Clothes washer and dryer worked well after a long travel day and a long hiking day.

Christina was a wonderful host! 10/10 recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We could not be happier with our stay at Hotel Villa Ludwig. The private villa is an entire private residence which is both luxurious and historic. The staff are lovely and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. They ensured that all our needs were met, were very responsive, and took the time to answer questions and make helpful recommendations. Fresh breads with butter, honey, and jams were delivered to the Villa each morning, and they even included gluten free options. The property is at the base of the Neuschwanstein Castle, so the location is very close to both castles in Schwangau. It is also close to local restaurants and stores. We would highly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Ludwig and plan to stay here again. Thank you to Jessica and her colleagues for making our vacation special and for being so gracious and hospitable.

The villa is beautiful and was worth every penny for this price. We had a great time. Only the high additional amount for bed linen and the complicated smart home are to be criticized. A short briefing would certainly be useful here.

We had a great stay. It is a very quiet area, in the garden you can relax in peace and yet you are in Strasbourg in a few minutes by car. The kitchen was super equipped. The place is highly recommended.

We had a super nice time, in a fantastically beautiful house. The sauna is sufficient for 3 people, which was enough for us. Communication with the host was friendly, nice and above all quick. Parking went smoothly right in front of the entrance. And the Spar (supermarket) is 3 minutes on foot.

We had a good contact with Isabelle and Christophe. We were very well received by the mom, with a clean house and everything was set up. The house is very functional and pleasant. We had a good explanation with a small summary booklet, which served us well. The pool is very functional and very friendly. We 100% recommend these hosts and this house. We'll be back soon 😉

The house is very spacious with a very quiet environment. Close to Strasbourg, highly recommend! Mathieu is very responsive.

We were 3 families each with a 2, 5 and 9 year old child. Our dog was there too. We spent our New Year's Eve there. Everything was as described and the place was super clean. If you want to spend a few quiet days and want to cook, you are in perfect hands there. Rarely found such a perfectly equipped kitchen. The dog was able to jump around in the entire large garden, as everything was completely fenced and thus also got his money's worth. We would go back there in a heartbeat! Clear recommendation!

the house was just what we wanted clean, comfortable, in a quiet place and within walking distance of a supermarket 5 mins walk, and the cafe am see a few minutes away also the center of schulchee 10 mins walk away. The hosts Jan & Tine were very responsive to any queries that we had, the only slight problem which for us but was not an issue, was with the TV runs of of an apple box and it wouldn't connect to the signal which was not a problem for us, the WiFi worked well other than that nothing everything was great. I would recommend staying here if you are on a hiking vacation like us it central to a lot of good hikes and varied scenery. a very good relaxing stay.

Philipp's accommodation is particularly suitable for families with children. The availability of 3 showers or bathroom with a toilet and a bathroom is very pleasant and comfortable. The house has been tastefully and elaborately converted from a farm to a "homely" home. The large space available in and around the house is indeed extraordinary (toys, hobby room, swimming pool, barbecue area and much more) and should be an exception to Airbnb's offers. The unrestricted kitchen use and the other items and appliances in the house (washing machine, dryer, etc.) made our stay very pleasant. Philipp has also agreed to be able to charge our electric car at the house outlet (without extra charges). The presence of two cats was very likeable and perfectly rounded off our stay. We fully recommend Philipp's place.
