Holiday rentals with breakfast in Limón Province

Pura Vida - Great host and location. Walkable to the beach and several restaurants. Calm oasis in the back yard, where we could see Tucans, howler monkeys and an array of birds! Host is very responsive and we also appreciated having air conditioning as well as a washer / dryer. Uvita is a great place to visit with a ton of fun activities, and having the small pool onsite was really nice to escape the hot midday sun. The full kitchen is also a bonus. Modern, easy - with good WiFi and a good host. The howler moneys did wake us up in the morning, but that was actually pretty cool alarm clock - although they sounded like a sick dog!!! We stayed at 3 places, all of which said you’d see moneys, never saw any and we saw them all from the comfort of the shaded porch here.

My host, David was exceptionally nice, and thoughtful. I felt a kinship with him and he was very knowledgeable about the farm and plantlife. This was one of my favorite air Bnb stays!

La limpieza, tranquilidad el detalle de las cosas. estando en la selva tienes las comodidades de la ciudad. la amabilidad y el cariño que pone Enki en todo. El desayuno completo fresco y buenísimo todo. la cantidad de animales que hay, la energía que desprende el lugar es única. no recuerdo a ver descansado tan bien. El sonido del río y de los animales es diferente al ir a dormir o al despertar pero tanto a una hora como a otra te ayudan a conectar con tu esencia más armoniosa la templanza en todo momento, cuando salíamos del lugar para pasear por los alrededores que son fantásticos y tranquilos, deseábamos volver. ya que la tranquilidad y la paz que se respira en Puerta a bellos mundos no se encuentra en ningún otro lugar. Es como un retiro espiritual, un alimento para la mente y el Alma. casa hora tiene sus sonidos de las diferentes especies de animales, aves, monos congos y cariblancos el silbido del perezoso, las Loras, Pavas, Tucanes, Colibríes. Es pura selva, es PURA VIDA

BEAUTIFUL place! Decor was amazing, bathroom had major wow factor. The outdoor living room and kitchen were wonderful. We couldn’t believe our luck! One thing to note is that this is a detached house (with own private pool) next to the hotel it belongs to. It is an open air restaurant and bar with rooms all around it, and that is where you get a free delicious breakfast. There is a larger shared pool that you can use with a great area for sunbathing. The beach is very private with with loungers available. You will never want to leave!

If you are expecting a 5 star hotel do not go here. If you are expecting an experience, amazing food, no AC, cold showers, no iron or hair dryer and an amazing rural farm experience that you will never forget then this is the place to go. Extremely good, honest, hard working people. They feed you almost everything they grow or raise and give you the same food they eat or feed their kids. Mary Luz is an amazing person and a great cook. Plenty of other options available in the area to get a farm experience but if you also want a foodie experience then this place is it. As everyone has said rough roads but we had a good suv and got there in 20 minutes after we turned off highway 32. For some people it may take 45 minutes. Expect to get woken up with birds and roosters making a racket around 5:30 am.

This is a serene and gorgeous space tucked in the jungle about a 20 minute walk from the beach; great if you really want to experience the local beaches and lively Puerto Viejo and then want to get away from the tourists. Penelope is an incredible host, she and Bonita the pup and Namu the cat made our stay so magical! Breakfast was delicious and she even baked my fiancee a birthday cake and pie, and was so generous in giving her time to find the best local spots and experiences and had a blast with her. We had a hard time leaving the beautiful common space in the house where you are truly in the jungle, listening and watching the wildlife. It is a traditional style house, so expect some bugs, some geckos and be mindful of conserving water; it's all part of a genuine experience :) Eight of us were there and truly had a magical time. Very nice place! Would come back anytime!

This was a great place to stay, we would definitely do it again! The communication process before arrival was good. The caretakers were very friendly and very helpful. The house was huge, luxurious, and had amazing views. All and all our family had a great couple of days at the house. Having said all of that, there were a few cons: -The road to get to the place was horrible, it was muddy with a lot of potholes. -There are chickens in the back yard. Some people might like that, but the rooster would crow in the middle of the night and wake us up. -The house was "surface" cleaned, but it could definitely use a deep clean. The fridge was dirty, there was a lot of dust and dirt under furniture, etc.

Un lugar muy cómodo para estar, así como se describe, incluye desayuno y siempre estuvo muy buena la comida, queda cerca desayuno playa.

la atención de Jimmy fue muy buena, estaba muy atento a qué tuviéramos una buena experiencia, y estaba comunicado con los guías de los tours en caso de cualquier cosa. En cuanto llegamos a la Pavona, había alguien esperándonos de parte del hostal dándonos instrucciones para llegar sin problema a Tortugueros. La habitación estaba limpia y ordenada, había aire acondicionado que ayudaba a mantener fresca la habitación. Gracias Jimmy por la preocupación y la experiencia.

Ganz tolle Unterkunft, super Host. Bei Ankunft mit dem Boot wurden wir direkt empfangen und alles nötige wurde erklärt. Auf Anfragen wurde zügig geantwortet und geholfen. Sehr saubere Unterkunft mit Smart TV, Kaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank (sehr sauber) und tollem Badezimmer. Sehr gemütliches Bett mit Blick auf die Lagune. Morgens (5.30 Uhr) kann man Brüllaffen hören. Die Unterkunft ist ca. 15 min vom Zentrum entfernt, der Weg ist sehr intuitiv zu finden. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert und toller Gastgeber 👍👍

Tolles AirBnB-Zimmer in einer Hotelanlage. Sehr toller und grosser Balkon mit super Blick über den Garten und das Meer. In Mitten von Tieren und wunderbarer Vegetation. Tolle hoteleigene Trails und sehr schöner Poolbereich. Sehr gutes Essen und freundliches Personal. Sehr schnelle Reaktion auf Fragen und sehr hilfreiche Hinweise. Sehr empfehlenswert !

Un excelente lugar tanto para alojamiento de un día como de una semana, estuve completa la semana y una anfitriona muy amable en todo desde el principio nos indicó todo nos ayudó en situaciones ajenas a su responsabilidad el lugar impecable sobre carretera fácil acceso parqueo propio y un departamento precioso con aire, cumple todo lo que indica y la verdad muy recomendado tanto para aquellos que quieran pasar la noche antes de ir a tortuguero como aquellos que se quieran quedar más, un menú de comidas muy rico con una atención excelente, muy agradecido con doña Ester y espero pronto volver por esos lados muchas gracias por la hospitalidad y excelente trato muy recomendado.

Ian's hotel is the perfect little spot in Dominical. Great location great pool great rooms. Great crowd. Ian himself is a cool guy and has fun plans to expand the place. Really looking forward to staying again sometime.

Hemos sido de los primeros extranjeros… a nosotros nos ha encantado pues estaba todo muy limpio… y no le falta de nada, te atienden fenomenal y te hacen sentir como en casa … te ayudan con todo y todo tiene el precio justo!! subir al cerro es el paseo diario de Lidien definitivamente volvería!!! si te gusta viajar! y conocer un poco mas de este país maravilloso, este es tu sitio!!! GRACIAS POR TODO NOS VEMOS PRONTO!!!

Staying at Lipstick Palms was truly one of the most special and unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had. The home & amenities are unreal! A stunning retreat with sweeping views of the Pacific, a great breeze and every detail is high-end and thoughtful. Annie and Patrick are the kindest, most gracious hosts—you instantly feel like you’re visiting dear friends or family you adore. Upon request, they prepared a beautiful, elevated meal our first night (that peach cream cake was unreal!) and again on our last night. One evening, we went into town together, played pool at a fun dive bar, had chili guaro shots.m- so fun! They also took us to a wine bar on the ocean where we fed bananas to monkeys at sunset—it was pure magic. The location is perfect, the pool is gorgeous, and we felt so at home the entire time. Annie and Patrick were present but never intrusive—it was the perfect balance. Their care, warmth, and hospitality made this stay something we’ll never forget. Dreaming of coming back!

J’ai adoré mon séjour chez Emilia. La chambre est très bien agencé et calme. Grâce à leur offre rafting, j’ai pu descendre le Rio Pacuare avec une équipe très sympathique et professionnel. Je reviendrai.

Such a nice stay in a relaxing environment. Best view into the green mountains, we saw so many birds. Ruth & Andreas were lovely hosts. We can highly recommend.

The host was very helpful and let me check in early. She spoke english well enough that communication was easy and she was very responsive to questions that I had. If you are going to the Basilica which is the main attraction in town the location could not be better. The Basilica is directly across the street and the breakfast area has a good view of it. I could not believe that they served breakfast as a part of this very low priced, very clean and comfortable room. I will book it when I come back! It is also only about a $60 dollar taxi ride to the airport on an uber so its ideal place to spend both the first night or two in country and when exiting.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei Nano! Er hat uns direkt herzlich empfangen und das Zimmer ist sehr schön mit eigenem Balkon & Badezimmer im Obergeschoss. Die Küche und das Wohnzimmer konnten wir mitbenutzen. Die Aussicht auf die Berge und ins Tal ist ein Highlight, außerdem ist es sehr ruhig und wir konnten gut abschalten und entspannen. Am Abend hat Nano uns mit viel Liebe ein leckeres Abendessen mit Gemüse und Kräutern aus seinem Garten zubereitet, auf Nachfrage auch vegetarisch:) Wir hatten tolle Gespräche und er hat uns viele Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung gegeben. Wir behalten Nano als guten Freund und unseren Aufenthalt im Casa Paz als ganz besondere Erinnerung unserer Reise durch Costa Rica!

Beautiful surroundings, delicious breakfasts, comfortable bed and good recommendations from the host (visit la Cusinga for a drink or food and enjoy the beautiful view and the walking trails around the property!). If you have a 4x4 and want a more quiet stay, I’d recommend this place!

Magnifique logement, mieux que sur les photos ! Le bateau nous dépose et nous récupère juste devant. Très propre, bonne literie, tout est facile et parfait !

I don't know if it's the location, the house, or Rick himself that amazed us the most during our stay. The house is absolutely stunning. The house was so beautiful that we canceled activities to have more time to relax in the house. Rick is one of a kind! He is very knowledgeable about many things, but most of all his humble and easygoing nature is a true example of the Pura Vida life. We enjoyed the heated pool at night as we gazed at the stars. Walking through the garden and picking ripe fruits was one of my favorite activities. Taking a bath during sunset while overseeing the ocean and forest will be a memory I will cherish for a lifetime. We saw plenty of birds and even a monkey. We didn't have time for it, but there is also a beautiful river tucked in a few minutes from the property. Waking up to fresh coffee and a delicious breakfast made our last days in Costa Rica just perfect. I can't say enough about this place. Do yourself a favor and book now. You'll thank me later
