Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Limón Province

This airbnb mountain home exceeded all expectations with its breathtaking views and cozy, beautiful interior. We all had a relaxing time...the fireplace and fantastic jacuzzi made for a truly unforgettable stay. On top of that, Maria Laura was incredibly responsive, kind, and welcoming, even providing us with coffee and delicious homemade tortillas! 10/10 we hope to be back soon!

First time in Costa Rica, and I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was attentive, and the beach house was more than expected. The private beach was less than 2min away, and breathtaking. The included breakfast was disappointing at first: fruits, bread, butter and jelly, but it was filling. I loved the guava jelly, and my boyfriend enjoyed the fruit. I would recommend this to anyone looking for privacy, tranquility, and nature. Best place to stay on the Caribbean coast.

This place was AMAZING!!!! Ana was our contact for everything and she went ABOVE and Beyond to help us with SPA, Horseback riding, trips to the waterfalls etc.. Our Chef's were top notch...

Absolutely stunning! The photos don’t do it justice. Isabel was an amazing host. She took her time to show us around the house and give us amazing recommendations for white water rafting and a chef to come to the house. I can’t wait to come back.

Where do I possibly start my summation of this paradise? I'm writing this now while on the plane home. Reliving my experience at Chris & Kristen's propery gives me a smile on my face even when I must return home. The personal touch stood out in a magnificent way. The knowledge of the country, the region, the local places. I felt like I was the only person on their property to care for during my stay. After a rain storm, late at night... I was treated to a tour when the vegetation was at its glory. The sounds, scenery, plant life, and different species of life were amazing. The carefully planned out grounds are a treasure... And constantly being upgraded and cared for everyday. The Villa was awesome. Had everything needed. Beautifully air conditioned, and kept. Bed comfortable, great size refrigerator, and perfectly configured stove. The view from my Villa was incredible, to say the least. My new friends will see me again. Their striving for my comfort was unmatched! TY

Two words “ absolutely breathtaking”! I think that pretty much sums up this place. The Host and his team were all super helpful. The property is located on top of a Mountain with INCREDIBLE views. You get a full on view of the tail once the tide recedes. The place was extremely modern and clean. I absolutely loved every piece of decor throughout the villa. I would recommend this place over and over again, to everybody. One thing I would recommend, is that you take the hosts’ advice and stop at the Supermarket at the foot of the mountain before going up. It’s a good 20mins just to get back down for some water😂

It was Amazing, We absolutely loved it!!❤️ I love Costa Rica, I’ve spent quite a few long stays in Costa Rica over the years, especially in the southern Caribbean, so I know the area quite well and I can honestly say this is my favorite house. We felt like we were in our own private paradise!! The pool is amazing, the hot jacuzzi is absolutely a must, and the sound of the waterfalls makes everything feel so special. All around you, there’s the jungle with thousands of tropical plants and flowers. We even saw toucans and a sloth in the trees just above the pool!! The kids were so happy! The house has a unique, cozy atmosphere, it feels like real Caribbean style, but also with all the luxury you could wish for. Everything is really well thought out and it made us feel like we were on a proper luxury vacation, while still surrounded by nature. I booked this listing for a group of 8 women. We all needed time to get away from our busy lives in the U.S. The six nights at La Sombra were peaceful and inspiring! What a beautiful location and beautiful grounds. We were all stunned by the property, in a good way:) It was even better than the beautiful pictures provided. Each villa was appointed beautifully with quality linens, towels, robes, bath soaps, dishes, etc. We especially enjoyed the patio views and the design of the structures that incorporate natural light and the surrounding nature. We ate dinner each night on the patio of the main house, and found a spot for morning meditations on the bridge. Catherine and Ryan were available and responsive before, during and after our visit. And, I cannot say enough about the local cook, Marta. We all wanted to take her home with us! What a treat:) Thank you for sharing your home with us, Catherine and Ryan!

This place was OUTSTANDING 10/10 experience. Would insist on telling anyone I know who visits Costa Rica to stay here. Wonderful having the restaurant just a few steps from our door, and the surroundings were incredible- lots of wildlife sightings just on the property as well as tons of fresh fruit growing. Only down side is yes there are some bugs because you are in the jungle, but if you can get past that, it’s the perfect place to stay.

The cabin with all the conditions and amenities. Peaceful atmosphere. Sufficient heaters and blankets. Hot water. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Very close to chespiritos 3.

We stayed for three nights and it's a lovely place. You are truly alone with the jungle and its wonderful silence and natural sounds. The host is friendly, proactive, communicates clearly and always seeks to resolve. We had a very quiet and relaxing stay. We would definitely come back.
