Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Limón Province

Rain ecolodge was extremely beautiful, I had a super relaxing stay and would go again 12 out of 10 stars

This place is a gem! The owner(s) clearly put a lot of love into the place and the landscaping. I absolutely loved the river access and enjoyed it every day - so many fun places to explore right from the Airbnb! I could easily spend an entire month here. I hope that I am able to stay again someday.

Manoas was by far the best place we stayed during our trip to Costa Rica! Not only were the tents huge, clean and comfortable but the staff went above and beyond to help us with everything Steve was great at communicating and gave us some recommendations for a local tour company before we arrived as well as directions to the property. The campsite is 10-15 mins drive from the Ballena national park and there are supermarkets on the main road before entering the road up to the campsite (you will need 4 x 4) Upon check in we were assisted with our laundry and I asked if there was somewhere to get hot water (for our baby) and they found us a kettle to use in our room. We were also placed in a private spot and near the restaurant which was thoughtful The tents were amazing! The bed was huge and the bathroom was lovely and clean! There was a mini fridge, plates and glasses so it was easy to eat lunch on the surrounding balcony The restaurant serves a 3 course meal for 20 dollars per person which is well worth it as the food is spectacular and you won’t get a more beautiful setting. Breakfast is huge and tasty and 10 dollars per person too. The campsite has a lovely pool, a walk to the river for swimming and a lagoon to visit. The cicada are amazing-we have never heard them so loud and using an app on our phone measured them to be around 70-80 decibels during the day! They quietened at night and the gentle noise helped our baby sleep as it acted like white noise. In the early hours of the morning we heard howler monkeys which was eerie but amazing I could say so much more about this amazing place but think it is best experienced. Definitely the place to stay in Uvita!

Jon's place was a dream. The apartment is beautiful, nestled in gardens in the jungle. The location is so scenic, with an incredible view of the ocean from the deck. There's a lovely yoga shala that we loved practicing in. The kitchen is well stocked, and we loved cooking every night. The bedroom, bathrooms and whole house is very clean. We felt right at home. Jon is a welcoming, kind and fantastic host. He let us use the yoga shala and deck as much as we wanted, and even gave us rides into town when he could. We felt very safe and comfortable, which was a big deal to my partner and I, as we are a queer couple. We already miss our new friend! The apartment is located about 45 minutes up a steep mountain road. I didn't read the listing carefully, so I thought it was a bit closer to the beaches of Dominicalito. Even with the blisters from all the walking, we had absolutely no regrets though! We just wished we'd rented a car. Learn from us 😂

Severine und ihr Mann Mark waren sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Unsere Unterkunft auf Stelzen war ein Traum und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Leckeres Frühstück. Wie empfehlen an unsere Freunde diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter

An unforgettable place <3 Jose is super kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. He’s anyways happy to help. Steve is welcoming and kind to all. The best part of this home is meeting the people and making connections with them through nature. I loved the comfortable feel, the river and everything this place has to offers. I’ll be back again! What a truly amazing experience. We got waken up by howler monkeys every morning around 6am. It was our alarm clock. This place is in the national park, therefore you are surrounded by nature and its inhabitants and their sounds. You get to enjoy the beaches and a nice walk all to yourself, before other visitors start to make their way in early morning. It was a true immersive experience and we have really enjoyed it. One thing to bear in mind is that this is an ecolodge. You will not find luxury inside but you have the basics and it’s clean. I highly recommend it.

If you want to have a getaway with some of the best views imaginable, this is the place to be! Jon is an excellent host and his home is beautiful, spacious, but most of all, truly tranquil. This was an amazing stay and hope to be back very soon!!!

8 km Anfahrt auf unbefestigter Straße. Schönes, sauberes Häuschen, gut eingerichtete Küche. Toller Blick und umgeben von viel Grün. Absolut ruhig. Von der Terrasse aus konnten wir viele Vögel beobachten. 2 Riesentukane begrüßten uns am Morgen.

San Agustín es hermoso, amamos conocer el lugar, la cabaña es muy acogedora, con unos amaneceres llenos de neblina perfectos para tomar café en la terraza de arriba con vistas al cafetal.

Excelente lugar, para descansar y estar en contacto con la naturaleza, cerca del volcan de fácil acceso, linda vista, muy tranquilo, los anfitriones excelentes y además te brindan mucha información importante. El desayuno increíble, super recomendado

El espacio fue todo lo que esperábamos: un lugar cómodo y tranquilo para dormir y descansar rodeados de mucha naturaleza. Todos los detalles fueron maravillosos, las cobijas deliciosas y el agüita de la ducha buenísima y calientita. Además, Óscar, el anfitrión, siempre fue muy amable y de comunicación expedita. Definitivamente, regresaría al lugar ♥️

We flew into San Jose and stayed with Omar on our way to Puerto Viejo. We couldn’t believe we stumbled upon such a treasure! Omar makes you feel like an old friend the first time you meet him. We made a wrong turn and got a little lost and Omar drove out through the rain in the dark to meet us where we were so we could follow him back to his place. The next morning he gave us a tour of his beautiful garden and we saw more hummingbirds than we could count! He is so knowledgeable about Costa Rican wildlife and plants and we learned so much. He also made us the most delicious breakfast which we enjoyed by the beautiful river that runs through his property. Omar and his B&B are an absolute gem! Thank you Omar!

We had such a beautiful stay in Aire. The bungalow is perfectly designed to make you feel part of the surrounding jungle and has more than everything you need. The place is wonderful, it's very clean, the bed is really comfy, the outside space of the bungalow with the little pool is the perfect spot to chill at night and you are super close to a beautiful beach. Also the hosts are the nicest ! They will do anything to make your stay perfect, they gave us a lot of tips on what to do arround and we had a great time. I 100% recommend !!

Hermoso lugar, lleno de paz entre la naturaleza, realmente descansamos y me encantaría volver. Alejo, su esposa y Carolina fueron super amables, siempre nos ayudó con todo y dispuesto a que la pasáramos bien. Un super Host.

This place was located nicely in some beautiful hills with a great view. A cozy cabin with comfy and clean beds. The neighbors kept us up with some loud music for a little while and there is a wood burning stove. The stove worked great, of course, and they stocked plenty of wood outside for it, but does require a little more effort than an electric or gas stove. Overall, really liked the place.

I really enjoyed staying with marleene , its a real jungle staying, sooo beautiful and special, we had great talks with the other guests, we made delicious organic food , its in a middle of forest and so quiet and cool thank u marleen

Amazing views, clean and special rooms and Francisca and Luca were very friendly hosts!

Un buen lugar para descansar y disfrutar del paisaje.

Giselle est une personne chaleureuse qui a été attentive et prévenante, toujours prête à aider si nécessaire dans l'organisation d'activités, vous appeler un bateau-taxi qui arrive en 5 minutes. Une jolie immersion dans la forêt. Les bungalows sont confortables. Bon petit-déjeuner typique.

Everything was fine and we wished he had brought more time the beautiful ranch. Milton is an unbelievable kind Person and rally helped us with everything.

Brett was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. He even offered to pick things up for us and drive us to the other side of town. This spot is super cozy and perfect for bird watching.

The stay at Finca d’Elia was very peaceful. I felt right at home with Jose Arturo and his lovely family who all go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and happy. This is also an ideal place to be if you do not want to be near crowds and loud areas. The grounds of the house are extensive and offer various activities (pool, nature walk in the dense jungle where you can hear howler monkeys, reading areas). Meals are very tasty - home cooked by Jose Arturo’s mother, and his father even taught me how to make a delicious ceviche. I will be back!
