Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Limón Province

This beautiful home is located in the jungle and is an absolute masterpiece of a property. Seeing monkeys in the yard that you’re staying at was a really cool experience. The host was so helpful with recommendations on the way in and on the way out of town. Our car even broke down and he sent his assistant to be able to help us out. His assistant was able to get the car started and they refused to take any money from us. Beautiful house from beautiful people. So grateful.

This place was perfect for us, two adults and two kids (12 and 9 yrs old). We had originally planned on staying at another place higher on the hill until we realized the road to get there was insanely steep and challenging to navigate, especially during the rainy season. Eric’s place was easy to get to, with a friendly security guard monitoring traffic into the neighborhood. The view was AMAZING, the beds were comfy and the pool was clean and refreshing. Great location for exploring other beaches and the towns of Dominical and Uvita and an easy 1.25 hr drive south to Sierpe for a mangrove boat tour (which was awesome) or to access Corcovado NP. Eric and Fabiola were wonderful and very helpful hosts. First-timer advice: if you’re renting a car, go with a smaller 4x4, we got a Hyundai Kona. Barely fits our luggage, but easy to navigate on narrow Costa Rican roads and small parking spaces.

This was our 2nd stay at Casa Mar Y Selva and obviously we loved it enough to return in 3 months. It has an amazing view and wildlife is abundant. First day of our stay we literally didn't sit down much because we were up taking photos. We sat on the patio daily from 6am til sunset enjoying our surroundings, Relaxing and peaceful. Nicole is the TOPS when it comes to communicating and hosting. Always kind and friendly and shares with us local knowledge. Hope to return again soon. Thanks for everything.

Wow!! What a spectacular and beautiful home and experience. Agatha was the loveliest host with a beautiful home that she designed herself. The love and care she put into every aspect of this home and experience is 5 star. The views are jaw dropping and the time in the the infinity pool was epic. The home was spotless and very comfortable with an exceptional design. I cannot recommend this home enough! I would say it is probably one of the top homes in the area. this place was as we had hoped, it was so nice having a private pool for when it got hot and humid and we didn't want to walk to the beach! having a black sand beach 5 minutes away was so beautiful as well. we really enjoyed our stay

Stayed here for 8 days, and loved the house. Pre trip I was worried about the lack of AC but the fans they provide made it bearable. House was very clean when we arrived and they also offered a free cleaning halfway through which was perfect for us. We spent majority of our time on the comfy couches on the patio & in the pool. Saw many agotti, toucans, and butterflies from our place and loved the greenery. Would definitely recommend renting a vehicle if staying here, the road leading up is pretty steep and rocky. The howler monkeys and bugs can tend to get loud at times, I brought ear plugs because I'm a light sleeper and it helped a lot. The managing team was very responsive and answered all questions within 40 min or so even at night. Place is beautiful and definitely one of the better homes in the area.

Beautiful and comfortable home in a great location. The beach in front of the house is beautiful and easy to access. There are restaurants within walking distance and grocery stores a short drive away. The hosts were very nice and super responsive. It was nice that they met us on check in to explain the house and provide instructions. Would love to stay here again.

Easy check in, great staff, nice location and accommodation

Waking up in a tree house in the rainforest after falling asleep to the sounds of rain on the roof is not a memory we will soon forget. The treehouse was well-equipped and far enough off of the main road, that the only sounds we heard the whole time, were the sounds of the surrounding rainforest, which were MORE than welcome. Hosts were responsive, welcoming and so accommodating. Would not hesitate to rebook this spot in a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing a piece of your paradise with us. Pura vida.

Todo muy bien. Uno de los pocos defectos que encontramos es que las cortinas de las habitaciones son bastante traslucidas, y ya a las 5 am entra mucha luz en los cuartos.

I can honestly say this place was like no other!!We were passing through and needed a last minute single night stay. Robert was quick to respond and was a spectacular host! I had no idea we had signed up for. This place will forever be a wonderful memory of ours. We have stayed in countless luxury Airbnb’s but few will be a memory such as this one. The sound of the flowing water right out the back doors in the middle of the jungle with the sound of nature = priceless. Property was clean and had everything we needed. We had traveled all day and didn’t really feel like doing our grocery shopping that late in the evening. The host offers a food option where they prepare and bring it to you. We have been in Costa Rica for a week, and this was the best meal we have had so far! The food was absolutely perfect. This place has been a highlight of our trip. We loved everything about this place! It was so serene, private and beautiful. We sipped coffee on the deck in the mornings and watched the rain and the hummingbirds. On hot afternoons we enjoyed the dipping pool. In the evenings, we walked up the block to an Afro-Carribean restaurant with delicious food and dancing on Thursday nights. We also did a nice hike one morning in Cahuita National Park, which was a 5 minute walk away. Everything was in walking distance!! Even the grocery store was one block away. It was the perfect quick little get away for our 30th anniversary.

¡Una experiencia maravillosa! El lugar es simplemente precioso, cuidado con mucho detalle y gusto, ideal para descansar y desconectarse. Todo estaba impecable, cómodo y super acogedor. Pero lo que hizo la diferencia fue la anfitriona: siempre atenta, amable y pendiente de cualquier necesidad que tuviéramos. Nos hizo sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. ¡Sin duda volveríamos! Gracias por todo, fue una estadía inolvidable.

Excelente lugar para salir de la rutina y del ruido de la ciudad. Lugar muy cómodo y bien ubicado. Con un río cerca que se escucha desde ell alojamiento, que da una frescura y tranquilidad absoluta. Lugar para no solo ir una vez si no para repetir.

Wow!10/10…. Beatas place has been the best place we have stayed in. Not only is the design beautiful but also extremely clean and spacious. Beata is also very detailed and reached out prior to arriving to ask if a crib is needed since I was traveling with my 1 year old, very thoughtful of her, as offer the crib and fresh blankets for baby were there as soon as we arrived. I can’t say much about the area as we were in town for a wedding and all activities were planned ahead of time, but we did appreciate the closeness of many restaurants and stores, we also got to go to the farmers market on Saturday morning which was great to see. Will definitely like to come back and do a humpback whale tour when their in season and baby is older to witness.

El lugar se encuentra en una muy buena ubicación, y es muy tranquilo. La cabaña es amplia y bien equipada, además hay zonas verdes amplias para mascotas. Pablo fue sumamente amigable y estuvo muy al pendiente. Nos gustó mucho el lugar, de fijo nos gustaría volver.

This Airbnb in Puerto Viejo was a hidden gem—secure, peaceful, and tucked right in the middle of the jungle. One of the highlights was the nearby trail that led to a beautiful, secluded beach just a short walk away. Waking up to the sound of howler monkeys early in the morning was a wild and unforgettable experience—it really added to the jungle vibe. If you're looking for a nature-immersed stay with beach access and a sense of adventure, this place is a great pick.

Was soll ich sage? Es war einfach perfekt. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr schön und erholsam. Man hat gleich nebenan einen Abschnitt des Playa Negra, wo der Strand fast immer so gut wie menschenleer ist. Silvia, die die Unterkunft vor Ort betreut, ist sehr hilfsbereit, immer gut zu erreichen, sehr nett und hat stets gute Tipps für Unternehmungen und aktuelle Events aus der Region parat. Ich konnte auch ihr Fahrrad nutzen, was wirklich hilfreich ist, um in das Stadtzentrum zu fahren etc. Kurz um, der perfekte Karibiktraum.

Truly was the most magical stay. The most perfect location, can walk or ride bike to local beach and restaurants. The place was extremely quiet and clean. the family underneath were so friendly and gave us great recommendations for things to do. And had the cutest dogs and cat. Our stay was too short and wish we could have stayed longer! This place is paradise i cannot recommend this stay enough!!

Siempre Disponible, salvaron la noche!!

La Casita es perfecta si una tiene planes de cocinar y de pasar ratos ahí. Es super cogedora. Sí es mejor si se tiene carro porque es un poco alejada de las vías principales, pero por lo mismo se siente privado y muy tranquilo. Había un nido de colibrí justo a la par de la puerta, y vimos cuando nació uno de los pichoncitos.
