Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lincoln County

We have stayed at many Airbnbs over the years, and this place surpasses every one. It is perfect for a lake vacation, super clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The beds and linens were so nice, the couches comfy, the kitchen stocked with enough tools to cook good meals, and the outdoor areas and equipment were great. Seriously, I can't think of one thing that would make it better. Jody is a great host and accommodated our needs. We truly hope we can return to Lulu's again next year.

This lake house was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true escape. The house had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway—cozy, clean, and so thoughtfully stocked. But what really stole our hearts was the view. Watching the sun set over the water each evening, wrapped in a blanket with nothing but the sound of the lake and laughter in the background, was pure magic. We made beautiful memories here and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. Highly recommended, we will be back! We also used Lake Effects for our boat rental, they were fantastic! It’s about an 18 minute trip back to the house on the water.

Great place. Very responsive host. Loved the covered dock with table/chairs for morning coffee and relaxing in the evening. All the necessities were available in the kitchen, very well stocked. Good fishing (bass and bluegill) right from the dock and backyard, great for kids. Multiple kayaks and paddle boards onsite with an easy launch from the backyard and numerous life jackets available. Very pleasant location in a quiet cove. Would stay again.

Overall, it was a good stay. The location is great, the view is amazing, and the back porch is as good as the pictures show. There was an issue with the wifi, that eventually the owner of the property management company came out himself to fix, it took a little bit, but was sorted out. I expect things to pop up, so I think having an owner/management company that responds as well as this group does, really makes a difference. The communication from start to finish was great. The living space is one living room and the kitchen, so just keep in mind for larger families. It worked fine for us, as the space opened up to the porch. It is a very nice dock, we fished a good bit from there and had a boat pick us up for the day. We would consider staying again. It is not the largest house, but the location on the lake is great, it is not in a channel, it is at the mouth of one facing the large portion of the lake.

I have nothing but great things to say about Julie and the house. She was always very responsive to questions and very nice. The house was amazing! The views were amazing! Inside the house it was clean and very inviting. Everything was super comfortable. We spent the entire weekend enjoying swimming, kayaking, and fishing. My daughter even pulled in a 10 lb catfish right off the dock. There isn't enough nice things to say about this one. Julie is an amazing host with an incredible place.

I am so happy my family and I chose this location for our family trip. It was very spacious but also accommodating for everyone to be together throughout the trip. The home is fully loaded with everything you need. The hosts were prompt in responding to any concerns we had and very polite. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know who is interested in traveling to that area.

Wow, what a location right by the lake! We absolutely loved this accommodation. its tastefully decorated, calm, peaceful and private. the living space is sociable and the front porch allows you to enjoy the view of the lake, the birds and just the wonderful peaceful atmosphere. there are kyaks and paddle boards and a beautiful dining area on the jetty. Comfortable beds, pretty linen, great bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen make it feel top end. Clearly this place is loved by the owner and we recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil stay. we came to Charlotte for the Speedway but we're so happy we got out of town to explore the countryside and enjoy Lake Norman. Downtown Moorseville is about 20 mins away and was a lovely place for a bit if shopping and some nice coffee ☕️ Thank you Patricia. we highly recommend your beautiful place at Tranquility Cove x

It was an absolute pleasure for us to stay at Sherry's place. We really had a nice time and of course meeting her two dogs was the highlight! We would stay again.

The place was great, It was quiet and comfortable. It met all of my expectations and I would 100% stay again if in the area!

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. The property was close to everything i had to get . It was clean and spacious. Everything about the place was perfect. The host responded to all my text soon after sending them. I'll definitely be back.

Great place beautiful property

This airbnb is only 4 miles away from The Barn at Blue Sky Farm which is why I chose it to stay while attending a family wedding at that location. It is clean and very peaceful. Church bells play faintly off in the distance mid morning. Full kitchen with oven, stove and full sized fridge for anyone that wants to cook any meals. The guest is able to turn on either AC or heat and set the temperature. With the weather in the 70s during my stay I found AC in the late afternoon kept it comfortable and having the window and doors open earlier in the day rather than AC was best. I didn't meet the hosts, but it was easy to access the unit on my own. As parking is under the large deck, the car stays shaded and cool. There is a nice clothing rack and hangers to hang up your formal wear if you are a wedding guest! I'm really glad I chose this location to stay at for the wedding and would recommend it.

This was place was just something else! The surroundings were astounding, and the home was very spacious. Not only that but you even get to be with a cat in there, the most gentle and calm cat I have ever met. I would absolutely recommend this house and would love to come back.

It was a delight to spend a few nights in this darling cabin with such a spectacular view from the back porch. Everything was as described by the host, and I would definitely stay here again!

I want to say this place was so at home. I felt we were in cabin and being rural, at the same time so close to whatever we needed. the surrounding was absolutely breathtaking. The cabin was so clean and equipped. My son loved the fact he could stay in loft by himself, and still being close to us. we loved to hear birds, and rooster singing around and we also meet some locals and neighbors; very friendly. Robin and Jay were so kind when I needed to talk to them and John helped me to find the local event, even though we didn't go (we had so much fun just being at cabin). Overall we loved, loved it and loved it. Thank you Robin and Jay for creating such a lovely place to stay in; felt so at home. Sarah, Jay and Benjamin

We enjoyed staying here. We thought the cabin was clean and well stocked. The location was remote (but easy to find) and peaceful. We had fun with the many outdoor activities like hiking, swimming and exploring. Cool blue ghost (fireflies) in the backyard.

Our family of 6 had a great time at this beautiful location. We usually venture away from mountain cabins to explore but we were perfectly satisfied staying on our private beach on Henry River with the kids tubing the ~500 feet that we could see (they weren’t supposed to go around the bend). And Bett’s swimming hole was one of the nicest mountain creek swimming hole’s we’ve ever experienced. It was also nice to be able to get to the cabin easily with no crazy windy roads or steep driveways. There is one nice house across the driveway you can see but we still felt secluded, safe, and immersed in nature.

best place we've ever stayed! my son had so much fun playing in the river, rain or shine, there was no need to do or go anywhere else. our pup had a hard time, bc it was all new to her, but we'll definitely be back! gonna bring some friends and leave the pup at home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Exactly what you would think of for a lake house. Will definitely return when in the area.
