Beachfront holiday rental in Lipari

At the risk of replicating so many of the other wonderful reviews I must unequivocally say that Beatrice’s home was absolutely stellar. Every single aspect was superb: the design, location, conveniences/equipment/furnishings were all incomparable! BUT most importantly the care, attention, and genuine and authentic hospitality were the most remarkable. Beatrice and her mother could not have made us feel more like family and not simply renter-guests. We are only one day removed from the tender sea breeze embrace of Salina and already feeling the pull to return. I cannot imagine an Aeolian stay anywhere else as glorious as Appartmento Maria Teritza. If AirBnB gave lifetime achievement awards to hosts, Beatrice and her family should be at the very, very top of the list. So many heartfelt thanks from myself, Kirsten, and of course Dinky!

Paola and Marcello's historic family home matches the descriptions. It is located in the historic center of Lipari in a quiet area, 5 minutes from the port and close to clubs and services. It is equipped, a comfortable and informal nest. Our vacation was special thanks to the welcome of Marcello, who picked us up at the port, accompanied us to spectacular places and offered experiences and stories with Paola with rare attention and availability.

This place is delightful, in its local and simple vibe, in a great location between the beach and the town, all easy walking distance. Don’t expect any ‘extras’ like pantry items ( sugar and salt only) or toiletries, but everything is available in the local supermarket. The owner Luciano kindly drove us to and from the port and helped organise a boat tour, he is very obliging. Malfa and this accommodation is a great option for a low key, peaceful stay.

This is a paradise. An unbeatable location with access to private bath (we bathed even though it was in early January but a sunny day with closer to 20 degrees and healthy 15 in the water made it a lovely swim). Casa Luna is small but very functional with everything you need and then some. Carlo and Mariagrazia are very nice and the service excellent. Responds quickly to questions. You need a car or scooter to get to town and it is a little bit of hilly road to the house from the road but it is worth it every day of the week. A wonderful place with access to a lot of nice hikes around Lipari. You have a sunrise right in front of the house and go up the hill to the Observatory (about a 30-minute walk), it is an unbeatable sunset.

Francesca was always very helpful and went out of her way to provide some things we needed. Unfortunately there were some builders next door who made a lot of noise on our first day. Francesca eventually got an agreement and the work stopped until we left. The apartment is great. There are 2 balconies so you can get sun in the morning and evening, but the rooftop terrace is the best. We had breakfast and coffee there every day. Great views of the harbour and surrounding hills. The shower is good and powerful. The bed was comfy and the kitchen well equipped. The location is ideal. Overlooking the harbour. Not too noisy despite being very close to the ferry terminal. Plenty of restaurants and supermarket within easy reach.Parking in nearby street was easy but private parking behind the apartment was also available. Would recommend the boat trips to Stromboli and Salina. We went with Armonia on a small boat. Thoroughly recommend this company. A great place to stay when visiting Lipari.

We had a great time. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. The road was not as bad as advertised in the reviews. The accommodation, as well as the amenities allowed us to have a pleasant stay.

Roberto's place really does look as good as the photos and was a slice of paradise. The pool and gardens were beautiful and the villa had everything we needed. Roberto was not around during our stay but replied to messages promptly and his mother lives next door should we have needed anything but didn't intrude. The area felt a little tired but people were friendly. There are plenty of delightful places to explore locally and further afield. Tindari has some fascinating ruins, Milazzo is nice for an evening stroll and has an amazing natural pool at the tip of the peninsula. Taormina was a lovely place to visit but felt extremely busy with tourists. The highlight for me was a trip up Mt Etna, the views are incredible! We have loved our time here and would happily come back. Thank you Roberto for sharing your place with us.

Patrizia's place is really great! It is very bright with its large glass window that allows you to have a view above the roofs to the sea. The bathroom is new and very clean, as well as the rest of the place. Patrizia was very accommodating and communication was easy. You should know that in winter, from November to March, the common area of the accommodation is closed, but it was not a problem because the night falls quickly and meets in the evening in the apartment was pleasant because it was well equipped. In general, in winter there is not much open on the island of Lipari. Nonetheless, we still found bars and restaurants open, and did many hikes, under the sun ☀️

Absolutely lovely Airbnb. Perfect for our large family and included a lovely breakfast spread. We arrived early and were allowed to check-in early. The pool and common areas were beautiful. Highly recommend.

Five stars are not enough to stay in Paradise. The cottage is comfortable and well maintained, but the real highlight is the patio with one of the most beautiful views you could ever want. Highly recommended!

I stayed here with my family. The house was very very clean, tidy. The kitchen was great, equipped with all the tools for cooking and eating. The living room had a very comfortable and soft sofa bed, as well as the mattresses in the bedroom. The terrace had an outdoor table and chairs where we spent our evenings. The bathroom is also great and impeccably clean. In addition, various gaming tools such as Uno cards and tennis rackets are provided. As for the car, right in front of the house there is a very safe condominium parking lot, and you can see the car very well from the house. Very quiet area, great for relaxation and beautiful beach with crystal clear water and with zero noise around. The host is very helpful and ready to help us in any eventuality, I thank him again for his kindness and the excellent work done. If we went back to Sicily, we'd definitely come back here.

superb stay at Fiorella's apartment, the view of the strait between vulcano and lipari is sumptuous, watching the sailboats you can see the whole archipelago of wind turbines and fantastic sunsets. the residence is far from all shops, we were on foot: 20min from the beach and 25/30 minutes from shops. i recommend it ++ ++ thanks for everything

We had a great stay in Eugenio’s unique apartment. Easy to find and in a great location just a short walk to many bars and restaurants. Eugenio was flexible, and really helpful with local recommendations and suggestions. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful apartment, very well equipped, with a large, quiet terrace in a pedestrian street with shops and restaurants. You can walk there from the port. The welcome is excellent. We'll be happy to come back!

The location is ideal, to both explore Lipari, to take the pound to one of the other islands or to take a walk in the evening to the many restaurants and bars. Everything is present in the apartment for a comfortable stay and despite being on the road the traffic does not bother you, but you can hear the sound of the sea at night.

Our stay was short but we had a good time in Giuseppe's accommodation. It is very well located in Lipari, in a quiet and pleasant alley. Our host was friendly and flexible with our schedules in relation to the boats. We recommend it.

We were guests of Paolo in the beautiful Lipari. The location of the house is great, you can easily get around downtown, it is close to several restaurants and bars. Very clean and cozy environments, very large spaces. We felt at home . We really recommend Paolo's solution who will know how to be kind and welcoming as he was with us.

Alessandra was fantastic in welcoming and helping with any problems or advice to experience the area at its best. The property was clean and equipped with everything, a perfect location for its proximity to the hydrofoil port.

LIPARI May 18 to 22 We had a lovely stay. The apartment is small but very cute and it has all the necessary amenities for our stay. What was very appreciated is that we had a pasta meal and a bottle of wine waiting for us for our first dinner. We were greeted by Rebecca who helped us carry our luggage to the apartment. A small beach is close to the apartment and if you get up early enough you can admire the sunrise. It was wonderful. Patrizia the owner answered all our questions and offered us the taxi for free from the port to the apartment on our arrival. Grocery store close by and many restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

Bahia was a wonderful host! Responsive and with lots of tips. The house itself has a beautiful terrace with views of Stromboli. The beach access was under repair after a storm, but we swam from the beach and can conform it is wonderful! The house is perfectly located next to restaurants the supermarket and the bus to the ferry. Would highly recommend travelling to each of the islands, each one is completely unique! Had a wonderful stay and would visit again!
