The location is in a quiet rural environment.  The driveway is right up to the door and there is plenty of parking space in the yard. Allergy-friendly, pets are prohibited. You can access the cycling trail directly from the yard or go snowshoeing on the ice of Pielisjoki. The ski resort Kontiolahti Biathlon is about 10 km away. The landlord lives next door.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Although our small, modern, and stylish sauna cabin is part of our residential yard, here you will find peace, nature, privacy, and beautiful scenery. There are excellent fishing opportunities in the lake. Plus, the property is perfect for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Use a rowing boat and a paddleboard. Available for rent for fishing with a motor boat. Bring your own linens and towels.

The property is located in the new Penttilänranta area right next to the Ylisoutajan Bridge. From here, it's easy to walk to the city center or the riverfront. The kitchen is well-equipped, so you can cook here. Bed width 140 cm. Parties are prohibited. As a novelty, there is parking in the garage under the house without a time limit!

Villa Lammenranta Suite

Welcome to Lammenranta. We are a couple from Joensuu and we rent the downstairs of our house. The guest can access a spacious room with their own entrance. There is also a private toilet and laundry room, as well as a washer. The space has a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and kettle. Cutlery and crockery. Pets are welcome, there is a 10€ fee. We do not have an electric car charging facility. The nearest fast charging point is 600 meters away.

Kuohu - sauna cabin on the shore of a rapid

Kuohu is an atmospheric, warm sauna cottage built in 2015 on the banks of a small river. In the noise of the rapids, you can relax in the sauna, barbecue or campfire. The cottage is located along a small sandy road, completely in its own peace. Koli National Park is about a 30-minute drive, Höytiäinen beach is just over 2km away. We rent canoes and have picnic packages with local products.
