Late Gothic house from 1519

The late Gothic residential building from 1519 is the oldest, preserved residential building in the Untermhaus district & has been very elaborately restored & renovated in 4 years. The former building ruin has become a small gem. Particular emphasis was placed on the expansion with ecological building materials, such as clay & lime, clay paints. Many old historical components were reinstalled. During the dismantling work, another, hand-painted, approx. 500-year-old plank ceiling was discovered on the 2nd floor.

Cozy, newly renovated apartment in the valley villages. Relax in a quiet atmosphere, with a well-equipped kitchen, underfloor heating, extra large bed linen and various streaming offers. Beautiful hiking trails and a small supermarket are within walking distance. More shopping opportunities, a crystal thermal bath with brine water and the Leuchtenburg can be reached within 10 minutes by car. The nearest major cities of Jena or Gera are 20 minutes away by car.

Barrier-free apartment in our single-family house in rural idyll in East Thuringia near the Saale dams, the Plothener ponds on the A9 exactly between Berlin and Munich. The Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Leuchtenburg near Kahla, Jena, Gera, Weimar are not too far away. Here you can hike (the roads are also wheelchair accessible), watch animals or simply relax on the terrace. Infants up to 2 years old and children up to 6 years old are welcome.
