Delightful two-room apartment on two levels a stone's throw from the town square of Cossogno, where there is also a bar, a grocery store and a good tavern, 15 minutes by car from Intra and Verbania. Alida is an attentive host, her apartment is very clean and equipped with everything you need to welcome guests in the best possible way. We followed his advice on places to see in the area, and we had a nice weekend. We'll be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful stay – the property is lovely with an absolutely stunning view. The garden was a great spot to relax, and the whole place had a really peaceful feel to it. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming – they greeted us personally and had clearly put a lot of thought into making us feel at home, even leaving a cuddly toy for our daughter and a bottle of Prosecco for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. A couple of things to be aware of: the driveway and parking area are quite steep. It’s no problem if you're in a regular car, but it was a bit of a challenge with our campervan. Also, the local town is walkable – about 25 minutes mostly on quiet roads – which was a lovely way to explore the area. All in all, we’d absolutely recommend this place for a relaxing stay in a beautiful setting.

a very nice accommodation, for those who appreciate tranquility and a nice village community more than tourist hustle and bustle on Lake Maggiore. Cavandone is a nice starting point for small hikes.

Lodana and Bartolomeo are wonderful hosts, whom we gladly recommend. The accommodation is very well furnished. We were greeted by the house cat, who received her daily petting. We enjoyed the time sitting at the table in front of the house under the tree overlooking the lake. Bartolomeo has provided us with salad and vegetables. Thank you again for that. Also for the cordiality, dear Lodana, we will always remember well and will gladly come back.
