Yoko, Paolo, and their daughter were friendly and welcoming to their 400 year old home in Morcote. The attic room is spacious with its own living room besides bedroom. Steps from Morcote ferry, shops and restaurants, the location is ideal for ferry rides across Lake Lugano, exploring Morcote’s beautiful hilltop church with amazing views of the lake, and mountains of Lugano. Breakfast in the garden was a plus surrounded by Paolo’s garden and bonsais. Great chats and their local insights were spot on. Lovely stay and a joy to visit!

Barbara was very accommodating and made me feel comfortable quite quickly. Also got me breakfast and tea every morning which was lovely. Would recommend :)

We absolutely loved our stay! Clean, quiet and a world away. Such a beautiful part of Switzerland. Our hosts were thoughtful, welcoming and accomodating of our needs. Our room was squeaky clean and we loved having extra pillows and a shared duvet. We hope to return again one day.

What a BRILLIANT week in Lugano - made so much better by this wonderful room which I was delighted to find. It had all the benefits of the hotel - just a much simpler, unfussy room which suited me perfectly! Couldn't fault it. Thank you to the wonderful staff for a lovely week.

Bob was very helpful before our arrival and the staff at Hotel International Au Lac bent over backwards to accommodate us. The room is basic but good, the bathroom as described, old but fully functional and clean. Great breakfast buffet! The room fan was great as it was very warm while we were there. Thanks Bob

Maya’s place was our idea of a getaway. You get to connect with the nature and get to experience a bit of the life of the locals. Maya was a super super host; we felt welcomed and right at home. Elisabetta is a wonderful host and cook. We were a birthday party of eight and felt right at home in that beautiful place of hers. All rooms were exceptionally beautiful and tastefully furnished, we were stunned. We truly had an amazing time and thank Elisabetta for having us. We had a great time staying here! Very sweet family who were easy to get a hold of and super friendly. The apartment is located in a calm and friendly neighbourhood, in walking distance to both beaches and city life. Beautiful garden, big bathrooms and very clean. 10/10 would recommend

ideal location as a stopover and wish to see Lugano in 2 or 3 days. in about 15 minutes walking you are at Lake Lugano. The property is very clean and the hosts are really welcoming. The property is very big and the room is convenient. it is not in the most modern state but it feels really homey.

Super friendly hostess! Very lovingly and detail-lovingly furnished and restored! Fantastic breakfast with organic products. Gluten-free bread also got you in advance on request. Absolutely hidden gem!
