Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Locarno District

The house at the upper village of S. Abbondio is a very well-maintained, thoughtfully decorated private retreat that offers unique views of the lake, a pretty garden and spaces with all the necessary comforts and plenty of space. We felt very comfortable and would like to thank the host family.

This very nice Chalet (which might have been an old Rustico) is in a really prime location, with magnifincient views over the lake and the mountains. The location is very quiet, also as it is at the end of a tiny private road. The house is well-equiped, and well prepared for us. We are a family with 2 small kids (5 and 11), who enjoyed the views, the garden and the wild life (especially the lizards) all around the house. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Check in and check out via the key box was very easy and flexible. The house and the property offer everything that was stated in the description. All rooms were clean and tidy. The kitchen is very well equipped with dishes, glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils. Fridge-freezer and freezer have plenty of space. The view from the kitchen, living room and both bedrooms, as well as from the garden to the lake is breathtakingly beautiful. We would book the property again anytime.

We were cross-country skiing and enjoyed the location right by the train station and nearby trails. The place is very nice and practical! In the large garage, in addition to the car, there is also space for skis and sleighs. For our 3 year old it also had many toys and books to discover... We will be happy to come back...

We enjoyed our stay enormously. We were particularly impressed by the courtyard, which invites you to a cozy get-together on warm summer nights. The apartments are equipped with everything you could wish for and beautifully furnished. Communication was also very pleasant and you could always count on a quick response. Overall, a great recommendation and we would all come back immediately.

This Airbnb is lovely, very modern on the inside and in a peaceful location away from the city. It’s perfect if you want tranquility but still well located for things to do nearby in Lugano. The place was spacious and clean and perfect for us as a family of four.

Everything tiptop. The accommodation was very nice, super equipped and very clean. The bakery is just a stone's throw away, so we always had fresh bread for breakfast. Alfred was very courteous, helpful and flexible, we would love to come back.

Very nice welcome, we had a very pleasant time with Miahoua and her little girl who is particularly adorable. She is a warm and caring host. We immediately feel "at home". We recommend 100%, moreover, the place is just beautiful.

A very nice accommodation, Markus is always available and very helpful. The accommodation is beautifully and stylishly furnished, the view is breathtaking. The location of the house is very great, as it gives you an even more beautiful and unforgettable view of Lake Maggiore and is in a very pleasantly quiet area. Markus is very nice and gladly helped us with the arrival and departure times, as we were on vacation with a baby; he had full understanding for this. In the accommodation itself, there were great magazines to read and a folder and several brochures that informed about the possible activities in the area. In addition, everything in the folder was well described (waste disposal, operating instructions, regulations for departure, etc.). We can only recommend the accommodation, thank you for the hospitality!

A magical place…even though we are Swiss we never imagined that such a beautiful local area could exist with that price and that view ! We are so grateful to have had the chance to stay at this villa ! I recommend 1000% !

With a group of friends, we started the new year at Villa Sciamina. The house is very nice and has a great view over Lagio Maggiore. Oscar was very friendly & was also very flexible regarding arrival/departure times. It was a great experience!

Beautiful accommodation! We enjoyed the nice garden and the jacuzzi!

Renato is a great and uncomplicated host, he was always available for us and even if only a little thing was missing, he immediately got it for us! The house is on a steep hillside (14% incline), there is a small path to the village (stairs), about 15 min. It is about a 25-minute drive to the lake and the castles of Bellinzone are very close. Renato even got us the first little things for breakfast and welcomed us warmly! We really appreciated that everything was there to take care of yourself (also spices etc) and also our dog was very welcome. We would love to come back! Thank you for everything Renato!

It was just right for a little getaway. I was able to refuel super; the surroundings and the house were a dream. I felt very comfortable right away. Andy was always very helpful and hospitable, thank you for everything. I can highly recommend the place. I would love to come back - next time with my family.

Exceptional host, exceptional place! We loved our stay in Wild Field Lodge and, as hosts ourselves, greatly appreciated the thoughtful amenities available throughout the property. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 5, and so it’s tricky to find accommodations that are actually relaxing, let alone loaded with toys and kid entertainment. This place is serene, fun, well equipped, and beautiful. The host’s communication and generosity were outstanding. You can feel the love invested in this property, and that makes for a very special life experience. Highly recommend!
