Garden cottage is well placed for visiting Lochcarron, Plockton, Skye, Gairloch NC500, and many of the stunning West coast beaches are within reach. Garden Cottage is a fully renovated traditional house with oak floors and underfloor heating. A haven for wildlife and birds. Perfect for a quiet retreat or for walking the stunning mountains all around the cottage including several Munros. The track up to the cottage, the Coulin pass, is a National mountain bike trail and continues to Torridon..

Captain's Croft

Perfect base for people wanting to explore the Isle of Skye, Applecross and the surrounding area. The croft comes with a fully equipped kitchenette and wet-room all with underfloor heating. Garve Cottage is a comfortable and well appointed home with three bedrooms; two with double beds and one with two single beds. Full bathroom with bath and shower upstairs and shower room, toilet, and wash hand basin downstairs. The kitchen has a built in dishwasher, microwave and electric hob and full oven. Underfloor heating was recently installed along with new tiled flooring extending through utility room to downstairs shower room. Washing machine and dryer in utility room.

The area is rich in heritage, scenery and wildlife with roe deer, pine martins, otters, herons, oyster catchers and sea eagles to be seen on the door step. Camas (Gaelic for bay) is the perfect base to explore the magic of Wester Ross, Skye and Lochalsh or as a great stop over on the world class NC500 route.

A delightful place to stay and newly finished in May 2019 'The Wee House' can be found right next door to our own (slightly bigger) house, 'Heisgeir'. We will be on hand just next door to give you a warm welcome and to ensure your stay with us, and whilst you explore the Skye and Lochalsh area , is both enjoyable and peaceful. Being born and brought up in the area we hope our local knowledge will allow you make the most of your trip.

Tigh A'Mhuillin (The Mill House) is a lovely detached home close to picturesque coastal villages (5 miles from Shieldaig and 17 miles from Applecross), with shops and pubs. Fabulous hill walking and climbing in the Torridon mountains, mountain biking on tracks and quiet roads, fishing, and sea trips to explore this beautiful part of the Highlands. For the less energetic, just sit, relax and watch the ever-changing scenery.

Duich Cottage Kintail near the Isle of Skye

Duich Cottage is situated in the picturesque and tranquil village of Ault a`Chruinn on the shores of Loch Duich. The cottage is ideally located with easy access to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Isle of Skye as well as the charming villages of Kintail, Glenelg, Dornie and Plockton. The village of Dornie is home to the world famous Eilean Donan castle which is only a 10min drive from the cottage.
