Retreat to the Campsies

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Lodge. The Lodge itself was exactly as it is pictured and exceeded our expectations. The views were incredible and we would love to come back and stay again. A truly lovely weekend break.

Pods at Port nan Gael Campsite

SurlyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Really lovely place to stay. Beautiful location and very comfortable. Easy to find and check in yourself. The accommodation was super clean and the whole experience was 5 star. The bed was comfortable which makes a real change. For such a small pod it literally has everything you need! Excellent base to complete our trip after our tent blew down in a force 9 gale! I marked the stars for price slightly down as I felt it was overpriced at 220 pounds per night in our case. Otherwise a fab stay and would recommend for sure.

The Cabin, Achnadrish House

Sarah-JoRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Visiting to take part in the Isle of Mull Sportive, the Cabin was perfectly located and provided everything we needed for our stay - tranquil setting, good warm and cosy space, well-equipped kitchen, space for our bikes, bathroom that gave us the option of a long soak in the bath if needed after our ride (we didn't but the water was really nice and hot for our showers). Eugenie sent a very informative and helpful welcome pack ahead of our stay providing clear directions and lots of great recommendations - we couldn't get in to eat at Croft 3 but we did drop in for coffee and cake and would thoroughly recommend. Thanks to Tomo, Eugenie's partner, for the encouragement to eat at Am Birlinn on our last evening - lovely space and staff and the food was delicious! More thanks to Tomo - for equipping us with hose, bucket, joinery advice and his patience! :D

The cottage is conveniently situated close to the ferry crossing. the views from the house are lovely, but, for the best views take a short walk up the hill opposite. The house was clean and well equipped with all you need for a successful holiday.

Seashell Cottage

SuzanneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Such a beautiful cottage in a stunning area! We had everything we needed and Seashell Cottage is honestly one of the nicest and most comfortable places I've ever stayed in. Lovely garden too, where we were able to sit when the weather was nice. Some fantastic walks on the doorstep and you are so near the little boat service that goes to Easdale Island. You can walk all the way around the island in about 40mins, a few safe wild swimming spots if you're brave (we weren't...) Annabel was a marvellous host and there are lots of useful suggestions in the cottage of things to do and places to see, some of which we did do, including lunch at Pierhouse, quick trip to Lismore, Oban harbour for fresh seafood, Cruachan Mountain Resort for a bite to eat. You won't struggle for something to see or do, it's an area I will definitely revisit in the future. Thanks so much Annabel! 😊

The Watershed an idyllic retreat

HannahRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This place was incredible! The view from the house is stunning and ever changing looking out on to the loch and mountains. We saw Deer on the front, snow on the mountains, and swam in the loch most days (in February!❄️) then came back to the amazing hot shower! we used the kayaks which were fun too! The house is lovely and warm considering it’s so open plan. It was beautiful! Highly recommend!
