Oldest house in Quentel From "Schniede Hans Hus", as our house was called around 1521, today a cozy 114 m² vacation home with three bedrooms, a living room with fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, a guest toilet, a bathroom with shower and bathtub for our guests has been created. Free Wi-Fi and parking right in front of the house are just as much a part of our offer as a terrace with a BBQ and garden. Hessisch Lichtenau with its shopping facilities is also only 5 minutes by car from Quentel.

Our cottage is a half-timbered house in "Klein Venice", the old fisherman's houses in front of the city wall and is limited by the Werra, the Werrabrücke and the old city wall. In the 1990s it has been lovingly renovated and has been modernized since then. Families with children are welcome! Cots for toddlers and high chairs are included at no extra charge. The ground floor is used by a café with beer garden, from which you can also be taken care of on request.

There are many places on the shared courtyard (4 other parties live permanently on the courtyard) to unwind, read or have a meal. The cottage is bright and looks spacious for a half-timbered house. Our house is idyllic located in Bad Wilhelmshöhe in walking distance to the Bergpark/UNESCO world heritage. Convenient for visitors of Vitos or Habichtswald clinics, too. Only 15-20 min. by tram/bus away from the city centre, 3 min. from ICE railway station. Two rooms for 1-3 people: 1 small double bed (140x200 cm), 1 sofa bed (160x200cm), private bath with shower/WC, TV, water kettle, mini fridge. No kitchen! Private terrace in the backyard.

Good location for hikes and excursions in beautiful Eichsfeld. Super climbing walls within walking distance (13 min.) with 63 routes, difficulty level 5-9+.
