Family-friendly holiday rentals in Loíza

Very scenic, perfect spot for our family of 4! Direct view of the beach, and a great balcony. There are some things worth knowing before you go: APARTMENT - There is no soap / shampoo, cooking oil, or laundry detergent - You'll have to bring a lot of basics, which is a bummer bc that's tough to bring on a flight - Beach chairs, towels, minigolf supplies were provided - There is no grill -A/C is in bedrooms only AQUATIKA - This is a gated community, not a resort. Great pools, great beach, but no restaurants or anything like that... not even a vending machine on the grounds - Good security - The lazy river is out of service. Would've been nice to know - Water slide and other water amenities are noted as open Fri-Sun, but were not turned on at all Fri / Sat... maybe they are on Sunday? - Pools were still great tho, never overcrowded & great for kids - The private beach is calm, great for kids with a reef protecting against huge waves - Stray dogs / cats on the grounds, friendly

This is a beautiful location with immediate beach access. Perfect for 5 people. Central to a lot of different things to do in Puerto Rico! 10/10 RECOMMEND!

We enjoyed our stay at Laura's. The condo was well equipped with everything you could need. The place is exactly as described and comfortable. We loved being so close to the pools and beach. There's a great view of the ocean from the balcony. The host Juan Carlos met us when checking in and was very helpful and informative.

Awesome place, steps from the beach. The place is a two story aparment with everything you need, only thing you need to bring is food. The beach is beautiful but kind of rough for little kids but that depends on the weather and time of day. My children decided to wake up at 5:30am to see the sunrise and it was a great idea, wonderful view and we get to see tiny crabs playing in the sand. The gate to access the beach was open from 5am to 9pm. The complex has 5 pools, one with hot water, too hot for my taste but my kids stay there until 11pm. My kids prefer the pool with the water slide, The water slide is open only on Saturday and Sunday. Didn't use the BBQ but the terrace has a great view. Didn't go out much, I had already seen most of the places around. But if this your first time in the area you can visit the rain forest, old San Juan, a couple of beaches, museums and lots of sightseeing nearby. No matter how your like to spent your next trip Star's place is an excellent option.

Everything was excellent, clean, beautiful, and very pleasant. There's no need to leave. Wonderful!!! I plan to return with my family and recommend it 100% to my friends.

Exelente place to have fun with the family and in peace. You have what you need to enjoy within the complex and within the Apt. Angel was very kind and responsive at all times. We'll be back!

Fabian’s condo was wonderful for our family. Everything was clean and in good condition. The pools are beautiful and clean. Some pools are heated and others aren’t so you get a nice choice. There are many friendly animals (dogs, cats, chickens) roaming the area which is sort of fun. The animals don’t bother with you they just hang out. The beach is small but private and a good place to hang out. The location is close to the rainforest and the main departure sites for many activities however the local town has very little to do. Overall a really great place to stay while enjoying Puerto Rico.

I booked Carlos’s Airbnb very last minute, and I was honestly impressed with how helpful and communicative he was throughout the entire process. Even though he was on vacation himself, he responded incredibly fast and made sure I had everything I needed. He even went the extra mile and gave me the contact of a friend who was nearby, just in case I needed help while he was away. The stay itself was excellent. I was able to fully relax and enjoy the place without any stress. Everything was clean, well-organized, and exactly as described. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Just a small note: getting to the Airbnb can be a bit tricky if you’re walking, as there are some stray dogs in the area that tend to bark at passersby. It’s nothing dangerous, but I would definitely recommend arriving by car if possible, just for peace of mind. All in all, a great stay — I’d definitely book again. Thanks again, Carlos!

Our stay was comfortable, serene, and truly joyful. The breathtaking views made our getaway even more special. This was exactly what we needed, and it exceeded our expectations. We will definitely recommend this location for a relaxing family retreat. The kids especially loved the pool and golf! Cathy was a fantastic and attentive host from start to finish. She made us feel right at home, ensuring a hassle-free and smooth check-in process. The condo was spotless and well-maintained, adding to our overall enjoyment. We can’t wait to visit again!

We had a blast with our family of 5 and 2 grandparents!! Would def recommend to other families traveling with young children and elderly parents!

Eduardo's place was just as described! Extremely clean and we would definitely come back! Great place to stay with a family, great location if you plan to visit the east side of th coast but stay close to San Juan.

The home was beautiful and clean. Lots of space for a family of four. My boys enjoyed the loft and roof patio. Home comes equipped with everything you need including beach chairs. The air conditioners worked great. The grounds were kept clean. Easy access to the pool and beach. Will definitely stay at Evelyn’s place again.

This property in Loiza was the perfect location to everything. good distance to lot of activities we wanted to do. It was very easy to find. The home inside was exactly as described. It was very nice to have chairs and beach towels to use for the beach! We visited many of the surrounding beaches but the beach that is right behind the property is very nice too. Super peaceful.

We had a lovely stay! JC, the manager, was so helpful, friendly, and a good communicator. The unit was clean, well stocked, and had comfortable beds! It is very close to the beach with the ocean visible from the lanai and right across from one of the pools and jacuzzi. The beach is steps from the unit. It is on the smaller side and you can’t really walk a long distance, but it was never crowded and worked for us. The property is clean, gated, has assigned parking, multiple pools, a lazy river, and mini golf. The tennis courts were not operable during our visit. There is not much for restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but we did have a very nice meal at El Parrilla which is within walking distance of the property. The location is very central to many attractions, more touristy towns, a beaches, and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!!

This is my second stay I was here back in April now September and coming back hopefully in December… The place is as described everything you need to be comfortable is available. The host is amazing as I left my gold bangle and she found it and mailed it to Nyc. I would definitely recommend and I will be back. Con mucho amor gracias Por todo

I recommend this spectacular place. We spent it as a family with children and they enjoyed it a lot. The facilities of the complex, 💯 such as the pools and the lazy river... amazing. Star's accommodation met all our expectations. Thank you very much for everything 🌸🫶🏻

This apartment was absolutely beautiful. It is in a small town named Loiza about 35 mins from the airport in San Juan. El Verde is a must for the local cuisine. For my bud enthusiasts Puerto Rico only allows us to but edibles and vape cartridges however I found the locals were helpful ifyou talk to the right one😉 most ppl go for the cities but I recommend you venture further out to the caves and the different coasts. It's not a cheap place but there is plenty of free fun if you're an adventure seeker.

She was so helpful! We went during a busy flight time and all of our flights were full! We had to stay three extra days and Martha was so accommodating and understanding. We would definitely stay again. It was kind of a hike from the airport but the area was secured and peaceful. The bnb is right by the beach but more of a spot for locals which we didn’t mind at all.

Beautiful stay! Having a private beach was a plus, there is rubble and rocks in the water so bring water shoes. The pools are clean and spacious, and the security was also very friendly. Our Hosts were very responsive and flexible with out 3 am check in. The view from the back balcony makes you feel completely submerged in nature. The villa is also gates so we felt very safe. Recommended for family and friends.
