We live in a lovely residential area. 2 min walk away there is a direct bus route into Edinburgh City Centre. The bus takes approx 25 min & stops include Haymarket and Princes Street. It takes 15 min to drive to the City Centre & Edinburgh Airport, & a 12 min drive to Murrayfield stadium. Locally there’s 2 pubs, 2 restaurant & a Co-op.

Lovely apartment close to city, garden & driveway

This is not a good choice of apartment if you are looking to go out, get drunk, play loud music and make a lot of noise. I have neighbours with young children so there is zero tolerance on parties, loud music, disturbing the neighbours or having guests in the property in addition to the those who booked (2 max.). I will be advised of these situations and will have no option but to end your stay and seek compensation.

The house is on a lovely, quiet street, and it was so easy to get around – just a 3-minute walk to the bus stop, and then a quick ride right to the city center. The inside is absolutely beautiful and decorated with taste. I especially loved the backyard and the wonderful kitchen. My room is cozy and comfortable, though not very large, I slept perfectly every night. Laura and Anton are so warm and welcoming, always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. They even let me leave my luggage with them for three days while I was on a trip to the Highlands, which I am incredibly grateful for. They made me feel completely at home :) I also really appreciated Laura's walking route recommendations for exploring Edinburgh. Following her tips, I got to see so many of the main sights. Myself and my partner stayed at Kerry's place Friday-Sunday and were really impressed and satisfied with the stay. Kerry was very welcoming and gave us plenty of information regarding transport to and from the city, including which buses to get and walkable paths. The room itself was lovely and cosy with plenty of storage space and a kettle and coffee machine with pods. Clean towels were provided too. The dressing room also had loads of storage space and a vanity space. There was a fridge in there and Kerry kindly left some cereal and water for us as well as some snacks. The bathroom and shower space was nice and clean. We didn't need to use the kitchen area but it was a nice space and Kerry made sure to show us around. We came to Edinburgh to watch Robbie Williams and although this was the main event of the weekend, having a clean and cosy place to return to after some busy days was essential for us and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Thanks you Kerry!!

I really enjoyed meeting Mairi and staying with her family in their home. She was very friendly and helpful, even letting me borrow a flask to take my pre-made lunch out on a day trip. The location was beautiful and private yet also very close to a bus stop with several buses that went into town. I appreciated being able to use the kitchen and laundry facilities as well. This was a great place and a lovely stay.

John en Gail zijn fijne hosts die pro actief vragen of je tips nodig hebt over de omgeving. We werden ontvangen met koffie en een gezellig praatje en konden onze e-bikes in de garage zetten en daar ook opladen. Prima omgeving en in 20 minuten via mooi fietspad langs het kanaal op de Royal Mile. We hebben 4 mooie dagen gehad zonder de auto te gebruiken waarvoor dank.

I had a really good stay at Magdalena's place and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Magdalena was friendly and down to earth and she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable during my stay. The airbnb was approx 30 mins bus journey to city centre, which was super convenient. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
