Beachfront holiday rental in Los Pargos

This place was perfect for our last two nights. We stayed in the blue jay house and the porch was amazing. The birds come to visit in the AM and you can hear the monkeys at night. The homes are simple with all the quality things needed for a good night sleep, warm shower, great kitchen appliances and outdoor spaces to be in. My girls lived the pool. We watched the sunset across the street at the little beach area and also walked the shoreline to Avellanas which has a great beach for swimming or surfing. There are rentals available and a restaurant right on the beach. The Cafe Corazone the opposite direction near playa negra and is a great place to get a cafe and smoothie or açaí bowl. I personally love the laid back lifestyle and atmosphere of the area. Jessica the host has done an amazing job with her place and I will definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved the peaceful, private location of this Airbnb! Bernd was very communicative and left detailed instruction of what’s around the area to what was available to use at the house. We loved so many things about this place the list would go on and on. Thank you Bernd for allowing us to experience such beauty.

Cabinas El Ceibo was a great place for our family group of seven (all adults) to stay--close to the beach, a kitchen to be able to make food, and our own space to be together. The kitchen had a blender, which we loved, as we bought fruit and made our own smoothies several times. It also had other necessary items (frying pans, spatulas, salt & pepper) to be able to cook breakfast. A sharper knife to cut fruit would have been nice, but we made do with the dull ones. The house is one of several in a small area with a gate that leads directly to the beach. Attached to the washer is a spinner to remove excess water before hanging clothes on the lines next to the house. Very convenient. The Spanish-speaking family (& friendly dog) that lives next door takes care of the place and gives you the keys when you check in. The monkeys throw mangos on the roof early in the morning. Startling the first time. Also, we left shoes on the beach without someone watching them and two pair went missing.

What a spot for a vacation! The location was prime and the room itself was well suited for everything you need. This is a hidden gem in the area. Things I appreciated the most: The ocean was steps away for a swim at anytime. The shop keepers and restaurant owners downstairs are great people and pleasant to talk to during your stay. Waffle monkey (breakfast) and Portofino are the best spots for breakfast, fresh seafood, low cost happy hours, and fire show at night during sunset. You can literally walk anywhere in minutes. There is 3 separate door with locks to get to your top floor rental so this spot is very safe! If you are lucky, you'll notice a 5 foot iguana that rests in the trees to your right off the porch, spending days in the trees. Alvaro is the mgmt person who helps you. He speaks great English and responds rapidly to questions. Can't wait to return and bring family. The two units next to each other would be an ideal joint rental for a group of 5-7 people. Highly recommend!!!

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

Very nice stay, the host is always friendly and attentive. It had everything we were looking for and a lot of comfort. We highly recommend it.

Awesome place to stay! Beautiful view! A short walk to the beach and some local shops - it is a steep hill, but there are stairs. Staff and other guests were extremely helpful and friendly. There was more than enough room for our family of four. When we needed assistance with an air conditioner, Floribeth was quick to respond, and had a repair person there in no time - problem fixed immediately. We were not planning on returning to Costa Rica, but after our stay, we fell in love with the area and people, and can't wait to return. Floribeth gave us precise directions, found it right away. You will not want to leave here. Thank you Floribeth!!

Great place to stay! We loved the jungle feel at casa abejas and the salt water pool was amazing.

This was by far one of the most beautiful AirBnB's we've every stayed at. It really felt like a mini resort. We had two families, and everyone was able to have their own room and space. Most of our time was spent in the gorgeous pool or in the outdoor kitchen. The pictures are accurate, but everything is more wonderful than the pictures. There is wildlife everywhere - gorgeous birds, geckos, howler monkeys down the street. The pantry off the kitchen protects your food, and we had no problems with bugs (we were told it was the time of year). We did have a couple of friendly birds that begged for food, but they were amusing to watch. The location, though remote, is in a gated community and was very safe. It was only a 10 minute walk to a beach that seemd almost private...not more than a few dozen people at a time on a beach that had to stretch for a mile. Do not hesitate to rent this place!!!

We had the best time! We had a few small plumbing issues, Joel was immediately responsive and problems were solved within an hour. Restaurants: Rustico, Rural (Tamarindo), Lola’s. Beaches: playa Flamingo & Playa Avellana were our favorites. House is super family friendly with the open concept.

Staying at Rancho De Linda was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the lush Costa Rican jungle on the beach, it offers the perfect blend of natural charm to fully immerse yourself in the local ecosystem. The property is surrounded by vibrant wildlife — from colorful frogs, friendly iguanas, beautiful butterfly’s, hermit crabs and chirping birds. The views are breathtaking and the sounds of the ocean are mesmerizing — making it a true ecological retreat. Douglas and Irena were delightful hosts. We enjoyed visits from their sweet pup Bambi and loved the availability of the housekeeper. The place is very clean and well taken care of. We loved our Yoga class Irena taught under the palapa and enjoyed the delicious cooking of two local chefs. We drove into Tamarindo for the day and visited the Diamanté Eco Adventure Park for a thrilling zip line. Being able to wake up, sit outside in the cool breeze, watch the sun rise and listen to the Howler monkeys and wildlife wake up every morning is an absolutely beautiful and peaceful experience. In addition to hearing the ocean waves crashing against the shore. This place was the best part of our trip! Oh and the beds were so comfortable that was worth its weight in gold! This was an amazing location!

The view alone is worth booking this villa!! Absolutely incredible. We had plenty of space, everything we needed in the kitchen, and Karen was very responsive and helpful. The shuttle took get to the beach and pool was easy and convenient, and the staff were all very friendly. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our week at Rose des Vents! The house is set on a jungle hillside, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation - we saw coatis, monkeys, and birds daily, slept to the sound of crashing waves, and woke to tropical bird songs and distant monkey howls. The highlight is the detached upstairs with a large terrace and a super relaxing infinity pool overlooking the bay; this upper level is definitely worth it, though the pool is a bit smaller than we imagined. The lower level is a studio with two bedrooms and a jack-and-jill bathroom - functional and pleasant with sea views, but not as inviting as upstairs, where we spent most of our time. Samara beach is just a 2-min drive or 10-min walk. Hosts Caro and Ridley were excellent: when a tree was cut down for road work, causing a temporary power issue and damaging the water pump, Caro responded quickly and arranged a prompt fix with a nice commercial gesture. Overall, a unique, peaceful, and truly refreshing stay in beautiful Samara!! 🌴🍹?

Wow! What an epically beautiful place. I highly recommend this AirBNB, Playa Negra, and Costa Rica. Words cannot express how awesome this trip was. We had a family of 5 (kids: 6,4,4). The beach and pool at the AirBNB were exceptional. And Playa Negra beach was very close for great wave action. The town of Playa Negra is charmingly perfect (coffee shop, a couple restaurants, small market). We are grateful for the experience.

The best review I can give is that is is a place I would stay at again and this Airbnb is one of those. The house was beautiful, the views fantastic, the location was close to everything we needed and the host, Lia, went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. She had groceries delivered since we were arriving later in the day. Her recommendations on local spots were right on and she arranged a chef to cook for us on our last night and the meal was wonderful ( highly recommend it), Like I said, I can hardly wait until our next visit.

Perfect place to stay in Tamarindo. Walk right down to the beach. Host was very welcoming and accommodating. Plenty of space on the inside with all the essentials.

The pictures truly reflect reality of this unit and 360 Splendor. We went at the start of June and had a wonderful time. The unit is on the 1st floor, 20 steps away from the infinity pool with an amazing view of Flamingo Beach. The balcony of the unit also has water view (of the bay behind). There is a nice gym, 2 hot tubs, and an open breakfast area, all on the top floor where you get the full 360 view which is amazing during a sunny morning. Breakfast costs $15 and you need to let them know the evening before. The unit itself is on the small side but sufficient for a family of 3 or 4 and has everything that you need to cook a meal. Getting to 360 Splendor may be a little challenging on foot if you have any physical issues. It is a fairly steep 0.5mi hill. But they have a few golf carts available to take you up and down. I am about to write 2 other 1* and 2* AirBnb reviews following our vacation, so I'm not writing reviews for the sake of it. But we really enjoyed this place!

We had such a lovely stay. The view is extraordinary, and the space is comfortable and clean. We especially loved the big comfortable deck chairs on the terrace in the mornings and at night. The pool is beautiful. The whole team is so friendly and helpful.

Nos encantamos Casa Sea Breeze! It exceeded our expectations and made for a wonderful time spent in Sámara! Bathroom set up was great for a family beach trip, interior space was lovely and the outdoor space was incredible and very well maintained! The outdoor shower was great after time spent at the beach. Beds were very comfy, AC in the bedrooms made for a great night’s rest and the decor was lovely too. Oscar and his mom were wonderful hosts, truly welcoming and so very helpful. Location on the beach was stunning and perfect, along with the close proximity to town. Truly one of the best homes we’ve vacationed in, and we’re hopeful to return one day!

This place is awesome. Right on the beach. Make breakfast while seeing and hearing the ocean. Kitchen stocked to cook at home if you want. Air conditions keeps it perfectly cool. 10 minute walk to town. On site at the property was Maggie who could not have been more helpful and informative. She gave us the best info for eating and surfing. A very special person. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Casa Costa Palmera was incredible. Shawna is a great host to work with and is an excellent communicator. The people that care for her home are also wonderful. This home is on the beach with private secure parking. Everything in the house works well, the A/C was cool when you wanted to escape the heat, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could want. I can't wait for the opportunity to go back.

Views were stunning with an infinity pool. Huge kitchen and bedrooms. Beautiful home.

What a beautiful place!! The condo was everything like or better than the pictures . The location and the views from the deck and patio could not be closer to the ocean . The grounds and pool were very well taken care of . The white sand beach was wonderful to walk on every morning . Such a clean and safe beach . The concierge was very responsive and helped book some excursions and a golf cart for us . The workers also set up chairs with towels under an umbrella everyday. The condo itself was extremely comfortable . The kitchen was well stocked . We made dinner there 3 nights . We did walk to Coco Loco for dinner 2 nights and it is right next to the property . We preferred walking to the other places ( Margaritaville , JPs bar and grill and Hibiscus Bagel and cafe) in the day since the streets are narrow and not well lit. We did not rent a car so rented a golf cart to go to the grocery store and drive to the marina . We had a wonderful and relaxing stay .
