Holiday rentals with a balcony in Luino

First, a clarification: Franco does not exist. The apartment is part of Interhome and is rented through Airbnb. We rented the apartment for a week in November and used it as a starting point for hiking holidays in Ticino. The apartment was perfectly suitable for this and the value for money is good for the low season. The apartment is located in a new development and can be reached on foot in just over 10 minutes from Locarno train station. In the development, in addition to a large Migros, there is also a Denner for shopping - perfect for adding to our hiking facility, etc., again and again. Unfortunately, the supermarket is also the only downside: the delivery (about 06:00-07:00) to the Denner is on the street under our apartment. For people who are sensitive to noise - despite closed parties, the shattering is clearly audible - this could not be ideal for a holiday stay. The apartment is large, bright, friendly, well equipped. The reception was very kind. We will be happy to come back.

I came to Lugano to visit a friend who lives around the corner and the apartment was even better than I expected. Amazing price, great location a couple of blocks from the lake, extremely clean, lovely balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains, fully stocked and very comfortable. Thank you so much, I really enjoyed my stay!

We felt very comfortable! Everything you need, very clean and generally a nice apartment. We enjoyed the view from the balcony. On the other side of the street is directly a playground, which is optimal for us personally. Host is always present in the bar downstairs - by the way, it was always nice and quiet at night We will be happy to come back!

A beautiful view from the balcony and at the same time only 5 mins walk to the old town, another 2 mins walk to the promenade. Truly the best Airbnb you can find in Ascona!

We loved the villa on the island! It was so beautiful and felt like you were experiencing authentic life in the village. Restaurants are all walking distance and open late. The local tourist shops and cafes close at 5pm. And there isn’t much for groceries on the island but baveno and Stresa have affordable options. Just don’t miss your ferry back to the island at 7pm! We tried a few times to find a different boat shuttle service after 7pm and they really only accommodate tours during the day.

This apartment was really nice in many ways. Great location and view from the balcony, the pizzeria just beside had the best pizza we had in all our vacation in Italy this summer. The apartment was clean and really cozy! If we are going back to lake Como we are for sure renting this again🙏🏽😀

This is a great place to explore the Alps. Location is perfect. Close to amenities of Domodossola but within a small hamlet. Yes - you need to be fit to stay here, as there is a steep walk to the accommodation. The home has so many places to sit and breathe in the beauty of the place.

- Very friendly hosts - in the accommodation everything as described. -great views -Very quiet and relaxing on the mountain - Adventurous journey (about 25 minutes via serpentines up the mountain)

The house is very spacious, with large rooms. It is in the middle of the village, one minute from the lake and the train station and there are many great restaurants in the area. Porto Ceresio is also very conveniently located for excursions to Como, Varese or Milan.

Beautiful old apartment in a nice location. The backyard was a lifesaver when travelling with children. Friendly, quiet neighborhood. A car is essential to reach the apartment, but parking is limited near the apartment, so one may have to park their car a little further away on some evenings.

Super nice and clean holiday home with large garden. From the balcony of the upper room you have a wonderful view of the Comer See. Kitchen is equipped with just everything you need. You should bring something like soap or dishwasher tabs yourself. The location is very quiet, but some serpentines away from the lake or center of the individual places. Accordingly, the nearest shopping facilities are also about 15-20 min away. Here you are dependent on the car. Adelia is a super nice hostess, and responds very quickly if you need anything. If you can speak Italian, this is an advantage :)

Incredible views made it nice to stay and enjoy the Airbnb esp on rainy days. We were traveling with our 8 month old and loved the nice comfy crib and Anita even left out a baby towel and high chair for us. It was really a perfect spot to enjoy views from the lake. The kitchen was stocked with all the cookware which made it great for some homemade dinner dates too. Would love to stay here again.

Enrica (AKA Kikka) is a delightful woman who cares about her guests and does everything to make them feel at home. She responded very quickly to any of our questions and needs. She had great suggestions for restaurants, activities and site seeing outings, all listed in an informative book on the kitchen table. The view from the room is magical, almost beyond description, as you look out on to Lake Como both day and especially night! My partner & I whole heartedly recommend you consider Enrica’s attic for you lodgings at Lake Como! Cameron June 2025

This place is so close to the ferry that it puts the entire lake at your disposal. The view from the room was beautiful. Very comfortable and accessible. And be sure to walk down to Villa Carlotta!

The accommodation was beautiful and very clean. The communication went smoothly and they responded quickly. It was easy to find a they had a parking spot on the property for us.
