Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Madison County

Very happy with our stay. no complains. would definitely stay here again.

The house is in the beautiful and peaceful countryside of Berea and very close to the city of Richmond where you have shops and grocery stores. I enjoyed hiking in the Pinnacles only 5 min. away, and the city of Lexington was only a 45 min drive. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms where very clean, and the master bedroom had a mattress that was VERY comfortable. Thank you, Donald for helping me figure out the TV and WIFI and for the suggestions of things to do in the area- I'll have to check out the winery next time I'm in town. The home was very comfortable and quiet, so I was able to get a lot of work done. I would very much recommend Donalds home to anyone wanting to relax and unwind...or just get work done. Thanks again for your hospitality.

Spent one night in the midst of travel. It was just right for what we needed. My 15 year old nephew loved all that there was to do at Jesse’s place. Lots of games and a keyboard and piano. The house was well stocked with anything you might need. We had a three person birthday party for my brother’s 70th. It was so comphy, quiet, and we each had our own bedroom. Great price, too!

My sister and I both live out of state and decided to meet here for a quick weekend visit. She brought her young daughter and I brought my two dogs. Jamon’s place was perfect for our stay. The large, fenced in yard was exactly what the dogs needed and was plenty big to play fetch in. The covered breezeway was especially helpful since it rained most of the weekend we were there. The interior of the home was spotless and so well-decorated/well-stocked. We felt completely at home. We cooked dinner the first night and got carry out from a local restaurant the second night. Very easily walkable to the uptown shops and college campus. We will definitely be meeting here again.

I’d honestly like to write a terrible review of this place, but only so it will be available the next time we go to book it . Juliana has and absolutely wonderful place on a beautiful peace of land . The home is practically brand new and extremely cozy , and the land has trails , creeks, critters , everything you could ask for if you love to be outdoors . Definitely hope to be back soon, we had a wonderful time here , and look forward to a return as there seems to be so much more to explore.

I planned a surprise trip for my wife and I and we loved the location we stayed in. It was centrally located between the activities I had planned out. We would love to stay here again. Very peaceful and quiet location with fenced horse paddocks all around us. Nice change of pace.

Brent was an absolutely fantastic host. He was incredibly responsive and always quick to answer any questions I had. The rental house itself was truly beautiful. We especially loved how easy it was to walk to Centre College and explore Downtown Danville. The location couldn't have been more perfect. We highly recommend staying here and having Brent as your host!

I loved staying at this Airbnb! I needed a place to come for a personal prayer retreat and this was perfect!! looked exactly like the photos, had everything I needed and very kind, friendly and responsive hosts. I loved sitting on the back deck several times. The inside space was great for spreading everything out I was working on and praying over. It is in a very walkable area and I enjoyed a daily walk exploring new neighborhoods. And it was easy and very quick to get to the center of town to visit the Farmer's Market and a local donut shop, Burke's Bakery. Millennium Park is nearby and I loved going there for a run. Several good churches are close. There is nothing else that I could have asked for in this Airbnb. I just loved it and I will definitely return here for my next retreat.

Truly one of the best air bnb's I've stayed at, and I can't wait to go back! The home is quiet and private and the backyard/area looks fake it's so beautiful. The basement apartment is huge and has everything you could need. I felt right at home! Thank you so much!!

Beautiful location and property. Wi-Fi was an added surprise and nice since there's no cell signal in the area. Everything was clean. The main bed was comfy. We were able to bring our puppy but the property didn't seem like it had had dogs before/ it was clean and smelled nice.

This place is absolutely perfect! Host is wonderful and left handwritten note upon arrival. The house is spotless, has privacy, and close to hiking trails. It is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway and we will definitely be back! -Lora and Jonah

My son and I spent 5 wonderful nights with our 2 dogs at the Briar Patch cabin in June 2025. The cabin was exactly as pictured and immaculately clean. While in the Red River Gorge, we enjoyed making memories by hiking, going off-roading with Out the Top Adventures, and spending quality time at the cabin in the evenings. Unfortunately we didn’t make our reservation to do underground kayaking far enough in advance and they were sold out until August; so if you want to do that, I recommend planning ahead. I felt like the cabin was a bit of a drive to do most things in RRG, which was upwards of 45 mins away. Guess I could have done my research a bit more; however, Jessica was an amazing hostess and we truly could not have had a better experience. The cabin was a little slice of heaven and I was grateful to be able to share the time with ALL of my boys :) Thank you for your amazing hospitality and sharing your beautiful cabin with us, Jessica!

The property is beautiful. It was so nice to sit on the porch and look at the lake and watch birds. The fire pit was really nice. A great place to get away and relax.

We loved the cabin and it was a perfect getaway place to relax and enjoy time with friends and celebrate the girls senior year. The hot tub was a great hit and was used every night. They even have a hammock! Well stocked kitchen with coffee maker and toaster. Very responsive hosts and the beds were super comfy. The drive is beautiful but windy so be careful. Might want to arrive in the daytime. A comfy cozy cabin that we would definitely come back to.

We absolutely loved our stay at the old log cabin. All amenities were included and the cabin was neat and tidy. We loved the feeling of staying in a historic cabin. We will be back in 3 weeks to stay again.
