Holiday rentals with a kayak in Madison County

Randi is very easy to communicate with - she is super responsive and friendly. The house is close to Colgate- made running back and forth very easy. The house is peaceful, really well stocked with all your kitchen needs plus plenty of towels etc., all very clean, comfortable, neat and uncluttered, and in such a lovely setting, right on the lake. Highly recommend!

This isn't your average, characterless Airbnb; it's a serene haven straight out of a picture book, perfect for body and soul. For our family of 5 adults and 2 young children, it was a genuine home away from home. Enjoy the quiet surroundings, with most stores and restaurants just a 10-20 minute drive away. Mary is a responsive & thoughtful host. If my travels bring me here again I would certainly stay here.

We had such a great holiday weekend on the lake. Lake is right up the road, and has some really peaceful views right from the window! House was the perfect layout! Would definitely return.

Nicole was extremely helpful and responsive to our needs before and during our trip. The house was perfect for our long weekend and we enjoyed as much time as possible on the back deck despite the rain throughout our stay. The lake and surrounding areas were beautiful and we can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay on the lake as our yearly family getaway. We had age ranges from 1 to 65 and was great for all ages. The screened in porches are nice to enjoy the lake view. House had all supplies and amenities that we needed for our visit.

Fantastic experience! Easy to book and be in and out, all the amenities you ever want at a lake house! We had so much fun kayaking and canoeing and playing in the yard with cornhole and connect four. The house and Kurt were great. Everyone in our group was able to get their own bed. Drive to Turning Stone for golf and the casino was very easy.

We spent SU graduation weekend at this camp. It was peaceful with a beautiful view of the lake. It was a nice retreat for a very busy couple of days. Cozy family room with gas fire place for the chilly nights. Clean and comfortable beds.

We had a great stay! The place was peaceful, secluded, and very private - just what we were looking for. We especially loved spending time on the dock and relaxing in the chairs by the marsh. Would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway.

We had a amazing weekend at Rosemary's cabin with our pups! The house was well appointed with everything you would need in the kitchen and a gas grill outside. It was larger than we expected and we loved the lakefront rooms with fireplaces! The location was beautiful and we loved paddling and fishing in the lake. Being able to stay directly on the lake was awesome and I thought the cabin very reasonably priced given the location. We were there Labor Day weekend and the lake was very quiet and the weather was quite cool. The neighbors were all very friendly and I highly recommend the restaurant across the lake. Looking forward to returning next year!

John’s “camp” was perfect for our small group. The location is great- the lake is literally right at your feet, and while this is not your “luxury” rental, it’s exactly as described. Has the necessities plus a little more- vacuum, towels, Lysol wipes, plates, cups, etc. The spiral staircase has …a learning curve… but kept us laughing all weekend! As a host, John was great- I felt confident that if any issues were to arise (they didn’t) he would make sure we were taken care of. He was accommodating, polite, and friendly as well. We would love to come back!

We stayed in Lake Morain for a Colgate reunion and it was delightful! Significance more comfortable than our original plan of staying in the dorms. The house was cute as can be, very clean and perfect for 5 of us. Christian was very flexible too as our plans kept changing. We’ll stay there for the next reunion too!

We had such a nice stay! The cottage was absolutely adorable and bigger than we expected. It was beautifully decorated, incredibly clean, and Taylor thought of and provided everything we could need. The view of the lake was gorgeous. We planned on bringing our two dogs, but ended up leaving them home. Had we brought them, they also would have had everything they needed. We will definitely book again when we return to Hamilton!

Rachel’s home was immaculate and had absolutely everything we needed. Hope to stay there again!

We had a lovely stay at The Sanctuary. It is a beautifully appointed house and a lovely spot. The photos do not do it justice. We were visiting our daughter at Hamilton College and it is actually a very easy 20 minute drive through beautiful countryside to get to and from. We hope to be back!

James was responsive to all questions within 30min. Knotty but nice cabin was EXCELLENT! Lots of extras like life jackets and board games for the kids. Very clean and enjoyable to get away for the week. Lots of plugs and phone chargers in each room. Usually there’s never enough in most places. Will definitely be back! Thank You, James!

The Snowshoe Cabin is a peaceful, quiet upstate New York get away. Brian & Melissa are great hosts with easy directions & timely responses. The cabin itself is cozy and feels like home.
