The house is a traditional Normandy longhouse, made of granite, wood and tile. There are 185 square meters of indoor space. The farmhouse has been sensitively restored using traditional materials. La Pichardiere sits in the heart of the Normandy countryside far away from busy traffic in a secluded two acre garden set in a corner of a regional park (equivalent to a National Park in UK) -- It is a place to escape from city life! I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

The cottage can accommodate up to 7 people in its 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have a private bathroom. Two wood-burning stoves (living room and kitchen) ensure a warm and cozy atmosphere. Authenticity is at the heart of the cottage: exposed stones and beams, floor tiles, old bread oven, and English decoration for a stay that is both comfortable and full of character.

La Maison d'Apolline is a charming little house located in Lassay-les-Châteaux, 1.2 miles from the Château de Lassay and 9.3 miles from Bagnoles-de-l'Orne, Normandy (a 15-minute drive). The house is composed of a ground floor (entrance, mezzanine, living room, dining area and kitchen) and a floor (bedroom and bathroom) fully equipped and offering free wifi. The metal staircase is central. The decoration is neat. The equipment is rather high-end.

The cottage includes a living room, a kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, washing machine, refrigerator-freezer, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, 1 bathroom with toilet on the ground floor and two large bedrooms in a row upstairs. Le Vieux Fournil still has the original bread oven opening into the living space in this wonderfully quirky building. The kitchen and bathroom are housed in the original woodstore and pig sty and the bedroom is converted in the hayloft. The house is 2 km’s from the historic town of Lassay-les-Châteaux with its fortified medieval chateau., winding streets and gardens.
